• Responsible for supporting the sales team with all technical and deeper functional questions 
• Presenting the SCAYLE platform from an architectural as well as from a functional perspective
• Leading pre-sales activities to support prospective clients in their decision to start a migration project towards SCAYLE
  • Running fit-gap analysis for technical and functional requirements and provide convincing, customer-specific answers for technical and functional questions
  • Drafting overall architecture, interfaces with other involved systems like CRM or ERP and outlining the migration strategy 
  • Discussing deep dive questions with prospective customers (tech and business teams, from operational- up to C-level)
• Conception, implementation and presentation of demo shops and customized sample solutions (POCs)
• Being an expert of SCAYLE functionality and technology
• Transferring know how from product- and developer teams into reusable sales resources by simplifying complex processes into digestible information
• Taking a solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving and delivering high quality work

Qualifications

• 3+ years professional experience in technical consulting or management, having worked in roles like Business Analyst or Solution Architect with a proven track record of success
• Relevant experience and understanding of E-Commerce and its requirements (ideally having worked with shop systems, or related systems like ERP, Web CMS, PIM, etc.)
• Strong consulting, pre-sales and architectural skills
• High tech affinity and a motivation towards knowledge building in the context of digital commerce
• Strong practical software skills (irrespective if gained via formal education, self-taught or learnt "on the job")
• Outstanding communication, analytical and interpersonal skills, ability to explain complex concepts to tech and business leadership
• Understanding of business requirements and running project discovery phases (architectural planning, functional scoping and development requirements)
• Excellent written and verbal skills in English (German is a plus)
• Team player with high self-motivation and a pronounced hands-on and “can do” mentality
• Willingness to travel (up to 30%) as job will be a flexible mix of office-onsite, remote-mobile and travel-to-client/events
• Experience as a Trainer is a plus

Job Description

The IT Business Development Team mainly supports the Development Teams at ABOUT YOU Tech in structuring and optimizing their projects and processes. To achieve this they closely work together with the top management as well as the Tech & Product Leads of the company. • At least 2 years of experience in agile IT project management for medior and 4 years for senior

We are currently looking for skilled & passionate Frontend Developers (m/f/d) across Medior, Senior and Lead levels to become part of one of our Tech teams, either working onsite in Hamburg, remotely in the EU or in our Tech Hub in Cluj-Napoca, Romania (planned to open in Spring 2022).

What you will do

• Build high traffic user interfaces with JavaScript and Vue.js
• Work on the implementation of high-leverage features to optimize UX and conversion rates
• Cooperate with skilled developers, managers, QA’s, and designers to ship new components and features
• Draft architectural decisions together with the Tech Lead and explore new technologies
• Have a direct impact on team processes by regular retrospectives
• Exchange your knowledge with other developers and be part of our ABOUT YOU TECH community
• As a Lead Frontend Developer: 
  • Lead a world-class team of engineers and collaborate with the product manager, QA’s, and with designers to ship new components and features
  • Build complex & high scalable frontend application in close cooperation with the Tech Lead and the Product Lead

Who you are

• Very good & MVP-focused coding skills in JavaScript of minimum 3 years
• Practical & recent experience with JS Frameworks like Vue.js
• Comfortable working with TypeScript or ES6
• Good background in building complex customer-facing products coming along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Passionate about writing well-structured, efficient and maintainable code, actively keeping the quality of the code base in check
• Used to work in an English-speaking environment
• As a Lead Frontend Dev: 
  • 5+ years of experience in developing high-scalable and frictionless frontend applications

Job Description

We are currently looking for skilled & passionate Dart/Flutter Developers (m/f/d) across Medior and Senior levels to support us in building the fastest & most intuitive shopping app using a brand new tech stack, either working onsite in Hamburg, remotely in the EU or in our Tech Hub in Cluj-Napoca, Romania (planned to open in Spring 2022).

Our Tech Department is the heart of ABOUT YOU, driven by the passion to develop the best infrastructure & applications. You will work on high-scalable products on a cloud-based infrastructure and collaborate with developers who constantly challenge themselves to raise the bar of what is “state of the art” technology.

Challenges the team will be working on in the next months:

• Improving the customer experience by continuously implementing new features, optimizing user flow, and increasing technical performance
• Optimizing the eCommerce performance based on A/B Tests and KPI goals

What you will do

• Implement new features in our App version using Dart and Flutter to reach the highest performance standards
• Work closely together with other experienced developers, managers, QA, and designers to ship new components and features
• Be a mentor to more junior team members and always act as a good example regarding coding standards and code reviews
• Work on the implementation of high-leverage features to optimize UX and conversion rates
• Draft architectural decisions together with our Tech Lead and explore new technologies
• Have a direct impact on team processes by regular retrospectives

Who you are

• You have 3+ years of experience in building complex customer-facing applications
• You are very proficient in App development and had first touch points coding in Dart, alternatively experienced in related technologies (e.g. Typescript, C#, Swift and/or Objective C)
• You have a deep understanding of the basics and worked in a fast-changing environment before
• You write well-structured, efficient and maintainable code and actively keep the quality of the code base in check
• You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• You are used to working in an English speaking environment

Nice to have:

• Touchpoints with Typescript / Native Development ( Swift / Objective C )
• Previous work experience in the AWS ecosystem
• You have a very good understanding of React
