Acumatica is looking for a Senior Product Manager with expertise in ERP and CRM software.The product manager will help our business customers drive sales using marketing and sales force automation, streamline support and services processes, and gain a 360 view of pipelines and customers. The product manager will apply their knowledge to increase the usability of existing solutions as well as develop and launch new products and solutions.

What you will do:

Product Planning

  • Manage the product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
  • Drive adoption of the Acumatica CRM in the marketplace by setting and achieving sales goals.

  • Write and present product positioning documents.

What you’ll do: 

The Implementation Consultant plans and manages all aspects of Acumatica Cloud ERP implementations. Working in conjunction with Acumatica partners and resellers, the IC acts as the key advisor, product advocate, and a project implementation resource.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist partners with up-front implementation discovery diligence, Project analysis, Scope of work creation, Proposal building, and complex Fit-Gap Analysis.
  • Support partners by answering challenging application questions, tracking issues that arise during the implementation process and resolving or escalating problems according to company guidelines that may arise.
  • Analyze, define, and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs.
  • Follow established implementation standards.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of new or improved service delivery strategies and initiatives.
  • Develop and/or maintain all project documentation and client reporting.
  • Support solutions by answering application questions, tracking issues, monitoring changes and resolving or escalating problems according to company guidelines.
  • Assist partners in strategically responding to functional elements of requirements.
  • Craft, plan, and conduct product and technology presentations for partners and during field events such as conferences, seminars, etc.
  • Provide user training and documentation on specific solutions to aid business partners in preparing for solution presentations.
  • Provide feedback and suggested solutions regarding business partner needs, deficiencies, challenges and attitudes.
  • Assist and mentor new team members as assigned.
  • What you need to succeed:
  • ​You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Technology, Commerce or a related field of study.
  • You have basic accounting understanding; Draw T-accounts for analytical uses, know basic accounting concepts – ledgers, sub-ledgers, debits and credits.
  • You have installation and configuration experience with various Business Application Software (Mid-Market ERP). Software presentation and demonstration experience. ERP System Financial and ad-hoc report writing a plus. Microsoft Office applications and presentation tools. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server; SQL Server relational database concepts including database schemas and the ability to understand a relational database design.
  • You are organized and analytical, and able to eliminate implementation obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
  • You have strong presentation skills, can communicate professionally, and can Write reports, business correspondence, professional emails and procedure manuals.
  • You can read, analyze, and interpret general business and technical information.
  • You have 3+ years ERP software implementation experience in construction including business consulting, project management, project definition, estimating, proposal writing, engagement planning.  Experience in Distribution and/or Inventory ERP implementation is a plus.
  • You are self-motivated with a proven track record in business software sales and knowledge of technology.
  • You are comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base.

Acumatica is looking for an ERP Functional Consultant Team Lead to support general and custom product development initiatives for the Acumatica and our end users and resellers. This client-facing professional will bridge the gap between our Solutions Services development team and internal product managers and implementation specialists, and external end users and resellers, by translating functional into technical requirements, and evaluating projects, creating timeline for projects, and allocating projects accordingly.

What you'll be doing...

The ERP Functional Consultant Team Lead is a product expert primarily responsible for providing solution assistance and resolution to client issues acts as a liaison between IT and business.

Viewed as integral to the business in any decisions that may be impacted by technology. Acts as a relationship manager responsible for the collection, analysis, review, documentation and communication of business needs and requirements to the IT organization. Leads the gathering of business needs as well as the design of solutions through direct interaction with partners/customers. Focuses on always developing and improving business processes, assisting with the development of metrics, both within the technology and organizations. Has a strong understanding of information systems, business processes, the key drivers, and measures of success for the business, and the short- and long-term direction of the business and technology. Identifies, proposes, and influences solutions, negotiates deliverables and requirements across multiple customers or organizations. Ensures that the design and integration of proposed system, software and hardware solutions leads to the development and growth of the business through effective use of technology.

Essential Functions:

  • Consult with internal product managers and implementation specialists, and external end users and resellers to understand the scope of the product development or implementation integration requirements, define time and cost estimates, and develop a project plan.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal product managers and implementation specialists, and external end users and resellers to find solutions to problems identified in testing, resolve issues during systems upgrades, ensure that requirements documentation is easily translated into UAT (user acceptance training)/functional test plans, and ensure that proper testing of all systems functionality is completed.
  • Produce technical documentation for the development team to support project delivery including technical requirements, functional specifications, data flow diagrams, test cases, requirements traceability matrices, flow charts, swim lanes, wireframes/mockups, user stories, and use case documentation.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, and advise managers and stakeholders of potential project delays or resources required to complete the project on a timely basis.
  • Prepare technical reports, simulations, and instructional manuals to document systems development.
  • With minimal guidance, independently manage multiple projects effectively at any given time, setting priorities, schedules, and meeting deadlines.
  • Leads project teams to achieve milestones and objectives
  • 3+ years of relevant technical work experience.

Additional Knowledge and technical skills that will help achieve success:

  • Proven professional with advanced understanding of accounting theory, current accounting issues, and accounting systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to balance a large group of diverse projects simultaneously with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to resolve complex problems positively and professionally.

  • Experience with Accounting, ERP, or other business management software
  • Experience with software in a SaaS environment
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Basic understanding of relational database concepts
  • Customer Facing Services Experience
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an Implementation Consultant handling at least 5 – 8 ERP implementations. Specific experience should include but are not limited to, setup, configuration and, if applicable, customization of the Acumatica application.
  • Implement new feature rollouts and new functionality to scale client’s business needs
  • Ability to take direction, as well as work autonomously
  • Attend internal team meetings, participate in knowledge sharing, mentoring, and Q&A.
  • Travel required
