If you are a Junior Frontend Software Engineer willing to work in a highly collaborative environment and wish to develop and improve our website — this is a great opportunity for you! We are interested in someone who will do more than just follow the lead and write code based on presented information —  we expect creativity and ownership. You will be working with various technologies and tools:

  • Next.js (React.js framework) - leading technology
  • Storybook - components library used by several teams at AirHelp

  • Teamcity, GitHub, Jira, Confluence

What you will do:

  • Build new pages and improve existing ones with Next.js based on the designs provided in Figma.
  • Build new UI components and improve existing ones in Storybook with React.js.
  • Implement A/B tests using Google Optimize.
  • Implement and maintain integration with 3rd party tools like Google Tag Manager.
  • Improve the overall performance of our website.
  • Write code that is easy to read and maintain.
  • Review the code of your team members.
     

Ideally, you will bring with you: 

  • Commercial experience in building and maintaining websites or web applications with React.js, preferably with Next.js, Gatsby.js or similar.
  • Good knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Good knowledge of React.js.
  • Good knowledge of the latest JavaScript standards and understanding of TypeScript.

  • Be a role model for continuous improvement, integrity and data analysis.
  • For these initiatives, you will:
    • Set overall objectives and strategy
    • define relevant metrics to evaluate progress, set the targets, and monitor our performance across markets, channels, audiences, etc.
    • Propose, test, and implement marketing strategies for various tools (Facebook, Google, Bing, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) with a big picture view on company impact.
    • support the marketing teams in achieving the goals you have agreed to with the C-level, which you will keep updated regularly on progress
    • identify and roll out best practices globally

  • identify related product needs and data gaps, and push for implementation of solutions.

  • Prepare necessary updates, calculations, business cases and presentations for internal and external use

Location: flexible. We have offices in Berlin, Barcelona, Gdansk and Krakow, but you can also join us remotely (in this case, you might be required to travel up to 2-3 days/week to one of our offices). 


Ideally you'll bring with you:

  • A track record of successful execution of ROAS based growth strategies for startups and/or hyper-growth products/services. 
  • Strong analytical mindset combined with the ability and confidence to communicate with senior stakeholders.
  • Very good understanding of social media, organic and performance marketing channels, as well as customer/user behaviours.
  • Good understanding of customer insights, conversion funnels, and analytics.
  • An ability to interpret and analyse data to inform go-to-market strategies.
  • Ready to perform well on fast-paced projects and in cross-functional teams, as well as dynamic and fast-changing environments.
  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
