Your Mission:Banza is quickly becoming more than just a pasta company, and as we expand to additional categories, we’re accelerating our growth and bringing our products to more people! As an Associate Brand Manager, you’ll support strategic growth efforts across the entire Banza portfolio, coordinating initiatives across our sales, marketing, field, product, operations, finance, and executive teams to help achieve the best possible results for the business. You’ll also drive smarter decisions to support our category management team by taking advantage of Banza’s wealth of data.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support brand management efforts across all of Banza product lines (pasta, pizza, mac & cheese, waffles, rice)
  • Help shape strategy for our product lines across sales, analytics, marketing, product, and operations
  • Collaborate with sales on account strategy, including creating presentations, providing insights, and customer marketing materials tailored to retailers
  • Analyze customer-level profitability and help make recommendations to optimize economics in line with strategic objectives
  • Assess investment opportunities financially and strategically and monitor performance of investments to create learnings and recommendations
  • Create reports and insights using data from syndicated platforms (Nielsen, Numerator, etc) and retailer portals
  • Support Sales and Operations teams on forecasting strategy and process
  • Work closely with executive leadership and cross-functionally across the organization to drive growth and bring Banza to millions more happy customers

Who You Are:

  • BA/BS with 2-4+ years of work experience
  • Experience in CPG/food in a brand management role preferred
  • Highly analytical, with strong quantitative and excel skills. Category management experience in Tableau, Nielsen/IRI, or work with other large datasets preferred
  • Cross-functional project manager, experienced in operating within and across sales, marketing, category management, operations, and product
  • Intuitive understanding of how to design and optimize concise sales stories to partner with customers
  • Driven and intrinsically motivated, highly organized, with the ability to jump from a single store’s sales results to an entire brand strategy
  • Able to both ruthlessly prioritize and amicably communicate
  • Passionate, able to sell a vision to those around you while being willing to change your mind when new information comes to light

  • Establish a deep understanding of the dry & frozen grocery businesses, internal processes, and overall assortment
  • Collaborate with sales on developing a plan by account that includes brand growth and expansion and trade strategy
  • Identify opportunities across Product, Operations, Marketing, Ecomm, and Manufacturing to improve the line’s overall performance, growth, consumer appeal, and profitability
  • Work closely with executive leadership and cross-functionally across the organization to drive growth and bring Banza to millions more people

Who You Are:

  • 7-10 years of work experience, including significant experience in CPG/food
  • Experience in a category management role
  • Experience/understanding of P&L dynamics, financial statements, and quantitative analysis
  • Entrepreneurial with experience scaling a rapidly growing business or product line – an analogous role at a successful CPG startup or a fast growing line within a larger CPG is ideal
  • Cross-functional leader, experienced in operating within and across sales, marketing, category management, analytics, and product
  • Skilled in customer marketing and in working with sales to win over retailers and execute to an ambitious plan

What You’ll Do:

Who You Are:

  • BA/BS with 3-5+ years of progressive experience working in sales/account management within the natural and/or conventional grocery channels
  • Strong planning and customer management skills, with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to juggle many projects and inputs and prioritize what matters most to the business
  • Experience with syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI, SPINS, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of food retail environment/practices and ability to translate this into winning partnerships with retailers
  • Willingness to be flexible, adaptable, and proactive in a constantly changing industry and company
  • Self-starter that thrives in fast paced environment
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time as needed during peak times with Key Accounts
