WHAT YOU’LL DO

Are you a critical thinker? Are you willing to challenge ideas and receive feedback? Are you comfortable with ambiguity? We are seeking a fearless and passionate Product Designer to join Braze’s Ingestion team. 

Product Designers at Braze have the freedom to work on all aspects of the user experience, leveraging strengths in at least one area — wireframing, prototyping, visual design, motion design. 

You’ll be primarily working on defining and designing high impact features as well as refining the user experience for projects related to improving how customers send information to Braze. Through research you’ll identify and prioritize problems to solve and design experiences to offer best-in-class marketing tools. 

You will be expected to collaborate closely with product managers, UX researchers, product analysts, technical writers, engineers, and your fellow product designers to deliver solutions that make Braze an easier and more enjoyable product to work with. You will need to understand our users and our business, and you will be expected to be an effective verbal and visual communicator.

WHO YOU ARE

  • 3+  years of product design experience working on a digital product with previous design system experience
  • A collaborative designer; you seek the truth with partners across engineering, product management, UX research, product analysts, product marketing, and technical writers
  • An evidence-based decision maker; you identify problems to solve that add value via user research
  • A framer for creative solutions; you contextualize the problem space in people’s journeys

WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Braze AI/ML (Intelligence) team is responsible for building and maintaining machine learning-driven features that allow our customers to understand better, target, and interact with their user base. WHAT YOU'LL DO

Braze is seeking an experienced Manager, Global Events Production (Event Producer) for our owned events. 

This is a fun and exciting position, as you get to work on multiple programs across multiple regions. You will play a critical role, working alongside your peers in event tech, creative, sponsorship, content, and demand generation to create memorable and meaningful Braze events for our audience. Your highest priority will be full production ownership of our City x City Sao Paulo and City x City Sydney events. You will also provide production support for other Braze-owned events, including our flagship, Forge.

As our ideal candidate, you will have organized corporate events for a B2B tech company and understand the subtle differences in customer, prospect, and employee experiences. You have an operational mindset, appreciate creativity and brand, and understand how to execute effectively within budget and time constraints. Responsibilities:

Event Strategy

  • In conjunction with Braze company goals, develop and implement event marketing strategies to best support our intended audience
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure events complement overall marketing, product, and business strategies

Event Planning and Execution

  • Plan, organize, and execute on a variety of events, including company and sales kickoffs, our global series, and the customer flagship event, Forge 
  • Coordinate logistics, creative, venue selection, F&B, AV requirements, and other event details to ensure seamless execution
  • Project manage the event alongside our agency partners to ensure the experience is on brand and meets all defined objectives 
  • Provide unique and creative approaches to event activations and experiences

Promotion and Outreach

  • Work alongside demand gen and lifecycle marketing to promote events and drive attendance through multiple channels, including social media, IPM, email, and digital channels, like webinars
  • Collaborate with the global campaigns team to integrate event promotions into overall marketing campaigns

Audience Engagement

  • Develop strategies to enhance attendee and sponsor engagement and experiences
  • Incorporate interactive elements, networking opportunities, and other features to create a positive and memorable event atmosphere

Performance Measurement

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of events
  • Analyze data and feedback to make informed decisions and continuously improve future events

Budget Management

  • Manage event budgets efficiently, ensuring cost-effective planning and execution
  • Negotiate contracts through agencies or with vendors and suppliers to maximize budgetary resources

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal teams to align event objectives with broader company goals
  • Foster strong relationships with external partners, sponsors, and vendors

WHO YOU ARE

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in event marketing and event production
  • Experience managing budgets greater than $500k
  • Demonstrated competence in presenting recommendations and gaining alignment with cross-functional teams and leadership

For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $126,000 and $135,000/year with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $140,000 and $150,000/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, Braze offers full- and part- time employees a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that all Braze employees own a piece of our company.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Channels team, which is responsible for building and scaling several of Braze's core messaging channels - Push, Content Cards, and Webhooks. We work on all of the message definition, composition, journey-building, and analytics parts of Braze's product, including a feature-rich dashboard that allows our customers to compose messages and and a highly parallelized platform for sending and processing messaging-related events at scale.

For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $42,800 and $60,000/year with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $45,000 and $65,000/year (including bonus or commission). We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our IAM team, which is responsible for building and scaling one of Braze's core messaging channels in in-app messages, as well as owning several cross-channel message building features used across the entire Braze product. We own the message definition, composition, journey-building, and analytics for IAMs, including a feature-rich dashboard that allows our customers to compose messages and and a highly parallelized platform for sending and processing IAM-related events at scale.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a senior engineer on the team, you will work with us to build out new features, improve performance, and provide guidance on key architectural decisions. You will have the opportunity to tackle significant engineering challenges, such as architecting new iterations of critical components for our systems and optimizing our systems for resilience as they scale. We greatly value colleagues who help make us better engineers and are excited, in turn, to learn from us. If that’s you, we’d love to hear from you!

WHO YOU ARE

  • 5+ years of full-stack development experience
  • Experienced technical leader
  • Strong understanding of design, data structures and algorithms
  • A self starter with great communication and organizational skills and will have worked in a team environment before

Bonus:

  • Professional experience building software at scale
  • Professional experience with Ruby, Go, TypeScript or JavaScript; MongoDB or Postgres; Ruby on Rails or React
  • Experience with agile processes
