Summary:

Certarus Ltd. continues to grow our business based on low carbon energy solutions and is looking to add a full-cycle Recruiter to the department to maintain growth in all markets of North America. The position will identify top talent by sourcing from job boards, technical schools, and other established channels, conducting pre-screens, coordinating with organizational leaders for hiring interviews, presenting offers and successfully guiding candidates through the onboarding process. The position reports the Certarus Recruiting Lead.

Schedule:

  • This position holds normal business hours, with 25-50% travel expected
  • We support a hybrid work environment consisting of flexible remote and in-person collaboration at our Calgary or Houston offices

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing of candidates through established recruiting channels, such as job boards, career fairs, and technical school visits
  • Passive and active sourcing of non-exempt roles to build a pipeline of top tier talent to meet the demands of requisition-based hiring
  • Be trendsetter and champion of Certarus’ Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion goals
  • Communication with candidates on Certarus values and expectations for employment
  • Identification of best-fit candidates through a mix of phone/video/in person interviews
  • Coordination with Certarus leaders on candidate pool for regions and assisting in the next round interviews to keep recruiting pipeline moving
  • Draft, finalize and present offer letters to candidates
  • Onboard candidates through pre-screening systems, establishing timelines and tracking candidates through the process, providing updates to Certarus’ hiring leaders
  • Work with regional Human Resources, Payroll, and Training teams to provide updates on candidate start dates and/or changes in hiring process
  • Provide updates on candidate pipelines to Certarus Recruiting Lead and help in reporting for performance tracking

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years in a full-cycle recruiting role of non-exempt employees, including transportation and logistics in the US and Canada
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources can be substituted in lieu of experience
  • Previous experience in the recruiting of high-volume roles such as truck drivers, technicians and maintenance roles is an advantage
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills are necessary
  • Ability to work on the road, and from home office environments while remaining engaged and productive
  • Excellent skills is MS365 with advanced skill in Excel; and PowerBI would be an advantage
  • Prior experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and remote signing platforms
  • Authorized to work in the US, and ability to pass a background & Motor Vehicle Record record check

Summary:

Our over the road company drivers are responsible for the safe transportation of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG/RNG/Hydrogen) from customer locations in south Texas and northeast USA. This position will report directly to the Regional Operations Manager - Shreveport. Certarus provides new, well maintained tractor trailers and an employee-focused culture. We pride ourselves in a strong safety culture and being one of the cleanest hazmat hauling companies. We are looking for safety motivated, and passionate driving teams to join our growing service offering!

Schedule:

  • This role is a role for experienced teams driving with 24-hour coverage between start and end points.
  • 21 days on-7 days off
  • Travel to/from work destinations will be paid for by Certarus, with per diem while traveling
  • Night shift premium for night drivers

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Safe transport of liquid hydrogen to/from customer sites
  • Safe operation of provided tractor and trailer to/from pick up and drop off locations
  • Removal and transportation of empty trailers from customer sites to other areas in Chattanooga, TN locations may be required
  • Hook-up and decoupling of hoses to/from filling stations and pressure reduction systems
  • Communication with and direction from Certarus’ valued customers
  • Pre/Post trip checks of Certarus’ operating vehicles
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Valid Class A CDL driver’s license with Hazmat (H) and Tank (N), or X endorsement
  • Minimum five (5) years’ verifiable Class A trucking experience
  • Two (2) years’ experience transporting HAZMAT is an asset
  • Preference will be given to drivers with prior established experience as a team
  • Must be safety minded, a self-starter, and a team player
  • Ability to work with and function as a cohesive driving team
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record(s) (MVR & PSP) with no suspensions
  • Ability to pass a thorough criminal background check, Fit-for-Duty, and D&A screen to be considered for employment
  • Legally able to work in the United States

Summary:

Reporting to the Central USA Regional Sales Manager, the role will help to identify and cultivate opportunities for Certarus’ CNG and hydrogen solutions into industrial markets to achieve organization goals and key metrics to displace diesel, LPG, and LNG.  This person should reside in the greater Houston, TX area to effectively collaborate with team members both remotely and in-person.

  • Engage new clients in the pipeline and utility, aggregate production (asphalt/ mining), agricultural, manufacturing, and pulp & paper industries
  • Build relationships with key influencers/ decision makers at target prospects
  • Use a strong value proposition and solution-based sales approaches
  • Create a client opportunity strategy and executing on that strategy to win new business at profitable terms
  • Maintain a robust network of opportunities within Salesforce CRM to ensure proper coordination between Sales and Operations
  • Attend industry-specific meetings, conferences, trade shows and other events to network, understand industry challenges and applications, and support low-carbon fuels

  • Previous work in manufacturing engineered equipment, process control, pressure regulation, valves, instrumentation, etc. would be an asset
  • Experience supplying CNG, LNG, propane, or liquid fuels is an advantage
  • Strong ability to manage relationship at all levels
  • Strong communication skills and innovative and entrepreneurial mindset
  • MS365 experience (Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Salesforce or similar CRM software would be an advantage
