BASIC POSITION DESCRIPTION:

This key role will support the setup and implementation of a global, scalable, sustainable process for Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) across Chromalloy. You will work with account managers, operations personnel, financial analysts and senior leadership as we continue to define and develop SIOP to support an integrated business planning approach. Previous experience in a shop floor operations role, data analytics role, or customer facing position is desired. The program will place the individual in all facets the procurement organization. Upon completion of the program, individuals will be placed in a full-time role within Chromalloy that best suits their personal and professional goals and matches the business needs.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Bring assigned projects to completion during each rotation
  • Depending on Assigned Project may be responsible for:
    • Monitor and revise processes to generate cost savings and improve the quality and efficiency of the product and / or process.
    • Activities related to the development of new processes including researching current and emerging technologies, evaluating process cost, quality and safety.
    • Provide coordination of new process installation and process change
    • Manage and implement new work cells
    • Manage supplier performance and develop RCCA for vendor base at the site or regional level
  • Develop leadership skills and competencies needed to Lead People
  • Build technical knowledge of various engine platforms, OEM & Aftermarket Repair process
  • Interact with Senior Management, build relationships with other employees across the globe and make a difference in Chromalloy’s future success.
  • Ability to manage individual relocation process. Will be required to relocated three (3) times within twenty-four (24) month period

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Related Field

Basic Qualifications:

  • One or more Previous Internships in related engineering field
  • Must graduate by the program start date, but no more than one year prior.
  • Must be willing to relocate during the two-year program
  • GPA 3.25 or higher

Field Service Engineer

Turbine Services Limited – Glasgow (C-TSL)

 

Position Reports To:  Field Service Manager

Direct Reports:           N/A

Location:                    Home basedwith as required travel toCustomer sites. Extensive travel will be required including offshore sites. 

 

Summary:   

For a portfolio of Customers’, responsible for the successful day to day field service task execution at various customer sites.

 

General Responsibilities:

  • To work safely and in accordance with all company Health, Safety and Environmental rules and recommendations, be proactive in maintaining a safe working environment and comply with customer site HSE Rule
  • Measure performance against outage overhaul program, identify and execute actions needed to ensure deadlines are met
  • Supervision of assigned craft labour;
  •  Ensure that suitable experienced craft labour is assigned to tasks and that they are set to work safely.
  • Conduct toolbox talks at start of shift.
  • Provide technical guidance to craft labour.
  • Undertake mechanical tasks as required in a safe manner.
  • Provide the Lead Field Service Engineer with an accurate status of ongoing works (Major Outages Only – where Lead Field Service Engineer is deployed)
  • Complete relevant QA documentation and procedures where applicable.
  • Interface with customers personnel on all aspects of the works, including progress, HSE reporting and any technical aspects which require clarification.
  • Troubleshoot customer GT operational problems onsite/by phone/by e-mail.
  • Develop and write reports in relation to work completed and report issues to C-TSL engineering department and relevant contract manager.
  • Liaise with all C-TSL departments to maximise levels of service to the customer.
  • Provide technical support to Customer as required (outside field service assignments)
  • Continually look for ways to improve the service to the customer.

Minimum Requirements:

 

Education:

  • Formal recognized apprenticeship or education to HND level

 

Experience:      

  • Minimum of 5 years experience working with heavy frame GE gas turbines
  • Good basic knowledge of GE Speedtronics Gas Turbine Control systems.
  • Experience working on LM2500 gas turbines preferred.

  • IT literate  
  • Proficient with MS office products

Job Description

The Global IT Security Analystis a critical role in our organization. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is motivated by an opportunity to participate in an organization’s global approach to systems, infrastructure, and end user support.

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Deploy, manage, and monitor security tools such as endpoint protection, encryption, firewall configurations, log management, intrusion detection, multi-factor authentication.
  • Support implementation of various frameworks including ISO27001 and NIST800-53, 171.
  • Analyze information systems utilizing various cybersecurity techniques including packet analysis tools, forensics tools, intrusion prevention systems, firewalls, SIEM solutions, and vulnerability assessment software to aid in the detection and prevention of cyber-attacks.
  • Work with SOC to investigate and respond to security incident.
  • Participate in the response, investigation, and resolution of security incidents.  
  • Complete and lead information security projects and implementing security technology.
  • Maintain a strong awareness of the current threat landscape.  
  • Assist with security policy reviews, configuration standards, and 3rd-party audits.
  • Create custom network-based signatures to improve defensive posture within security products.  
  • Utilize malware analysis techniques (advanced and static analysis) to identify and assess malicious software. Perform computer and network forensic analysis.  
  • Contribute to incident response plans, reporting and policy updates as needed.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a security role in a SOC or similar operating environment; complexity, size and scope.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks including ISO, NIST, or CIS required.
  • GCIA, GCIH, Security +, Network +, CEH, RHCA, MSA, or MCP preferred.  
  • Must be able to travel as needed, sometimes as much as 30%.
