The Risk Management Department at our Home Office in Toronto is currently recruiting for the position of Internal Auditor, reporting to the Manager, Corporate Audit.
The Internal Auditor’s role is to provide assurance and consulting services to add value and improve operations at Cineplex Entertainment by evaluating and improving corporate risks and compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and conducting internal audits, testing the effectiveness of internal controls, evaluating findings and providing recommendations to stakeholders.
What The Role Is:
Plan and perform audits and other assurance and consulting engagements consistent with Internal Auditing professional practice standards;
Assist with reviewing, evaluating and documenting internal control processes and presenting and reporting to management audit findings and practical recommendations aimed at improving control weaknesses and inefficiencies;
Conduct reviews of policies and procedures and identify any gaps and risk;
Build, develop and maintain strong relationships with the Risk Management team and process owners to encourage communication and commitment to problem solving, continuous improvement, and risk mitigation;
Maintain a commitment to ongoing learning and developing audit skills;
Assist with the preparation of other risk-based projects as assigned by the Manager, Corporate Audit, including mapping and scoping of new process flows through acquisitions;
Evaluating and improving Operations (i.e. theatre, Rec Room, Playdium) risks and compliance; and,
Assist with theatre or site audits, monthly audits and investigations as required.
What You Need for Success:
Post-secondary education in accounting/finance or enrolment and pursuit of an accreditation towards an accounting or audit certification (CPA, CIA or CISA) is required.
Experience in internal or external audit would be an asset.
Work experience in a Finance/Accounting role would be an asset.
Work experience in a theatre/retail/hospitality environment.

The Technical Account Manager (TAM) is a trusted advisor to Cineplex Digital Media's (CDM) customers providing technical guidance for their CDM Solution, infrastructure, on-going projects and current support issues; all while focusing on their operational and development systems. The TAM will provide a vital role in supporting customer's current and future environments, while keeping their success and satisfaction as a key business driver.
Acting in an efficient manner, the TAM will manage a pool of customers and will cover all aspects of the technical needs of CDM customers. The TAM will span the lifecycle of the customer including providing pre-sales support to the sales organization, managing the implementation and Trafficking of customer systems, coordinating deployment aspects of the customer solutions, monitoring contract compliance, ensuring Service Level Performance, monitoring and analyzing solution performance trends, representing the customer within the CDM Change Management process, managing and escalating major incidents, support issues and providing standardized reports to customers.
In addition to managing projects, the TAM will be responsible for setting best practices, driving stability and flawless execution. The assembled team will define project scope, assist where needed in implementation of project and training/transition to on-going operational team, and post-mortem initiatives. The TAM will become the expert on the customers solution design and business objectives and will work with all CDM organizations to ensure optimal solution performance and uptime.

Schedule and run regular meetings to review and prioritize open Support Incidents with CDM and customer
Act as an escalation point to customers
Regular review and monitoring of SLA performance
Document and maintain best practices for client-specific needs
Work closely with Support Management, Account Management and 3rd party support partners to ensure proper escalation and resolution processes are utilized
Engage in the CDM Change Management process, representing the customer and communicating all Change Advisory Board approved changes to the customer
Communicate proactively with Clients regarding product and program information, supportability issues and strategic product plans where appropriate
Work with the CDM Traffic Management team to ensure successful implementation and support of Content and Pricing changes.
Engage cross functionally with internal teams to satisfy reporting and product needs on client’s behalf

The Senior Manager of Software Development leads a group of Software Developers and Quality Assurance professionals in designing and implementing a variety of platform software products or custom software solutions for sale and deployment to our customers. The manager will work closely with multiple stake holders including other development and DevOps technology groups, product management, customer success, account management, UX Design in designing and implementing a code development framework for consumer-facing Web, server and embedded applications. The manager will share primary accountability for the quality and timeliness of delivered products and solutions that meet the requirements as set out by product management in the case of platform products or by customer solutions and account directors in the case of custom software.
The Senior Manager will provide expert leadership and guidance for the software development team, conceiving and implementing engineering best-practice processes and procedures to consistently design and develop high quality technological solutions that meet the strategic and tactical needs of the company. Campaign Analysis, Maintenance and ReportingWork closely with Marketing Analytics and D&T to develop relevant campaign dashboards and leverage data and post results to dictate campaign plans and optimizations on a go forward basis. Communication and Collaboration –Support consumer marketing in translating marketing + business objectives to media. Evaluation and Awareness of Current and Emerging Media –Media is constantly changing. The Marketing Intern is responsible for supporting the Marketing team in the planning, execution, and measurement of attendance-driving programs for Cineplex’s exhibition, amusement, and Store offerings. More specifically, this individual will also be responsible for supporting the Director, Marketing Operations in development of processes and data-driven strategies that bring cohesion and efficiency to the Cineplex Marketing team.
