Position Summary

Dodge Construction Network (DCN) is looking for a Vice President (VP), Sales who will be a key member of the sales leadership team. The VP will lead the new logo team with a focus on strategy, customer acquisition, revenue growth, and quota achievement. Additionally, the VP will use their SaaS leadership experience to drive overall business strategies related to local, regional, and national level accounts.

This position reports directly to the Chief Commercial Officer.

Location

  • Oversee our SaaS growth strategy and drive sales and revenue expansion in a scalable and predictable way

Dodge Construction Network (DCN) is looking for a Regional Sales Director who will be responsible for leading a team of Account Managers and ensuring the achievement of regional customer retention and client satisfaction targets for the company. About the role:

We are searching for a Document Acquisition Specialist to use a daily application-based prompter to see which construction documents need to be collected and contact document providers to request construction documents for DCN. This position reports to our National Plans Manager and works closely with the News Gathering team, BPO, scanning and scraping vendors. As a Document Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for prioritizing construction projects and collecting construction documents.

What you’ll Do:

  • Contact document providers to request construction documents for DCN
  • Research projects prior to contact to ensure proper timing, contact person, preferred method of contact
  • Determine priority of projects by project type, bid date and value
  • Record the interaction and results in proprietary applications
  • Arrange for ad hoc payment for documents, both for self and for offshore teams who have limited purchase ability
  • Submit plans and specs in Data Factory and resolve any issues
  • On a rotating basis, preform a daily preview of the work queue and dispose of unwanted records in queue, leaving only correct records for the rest of the team for the day
  • Prepare ad hoc quality feedback via proprietary communications applications

What you’ll Bring:

  • High School Degree or equivalent is required, college degree (associates or bachelor) is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills are required.
  • Superb organization and time management skills are required.
  • Strong ability to prioritize work flow.
  • Must have familiarity with multiple file formats (PDF, DWG, DXF, TIFF, JPG, DGN).

  • Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales and growth goals by securing new accounts.
  • Provide management with timely and accurate reports, as required, and maintain CRM database of contacts and opportunities.
  • Represent DCN professionally in all interactions.

What you’ll bring:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience is required.
  • A BS in Finance or Economics is preferred
  • Must have experience selling into Finance, Insurance, Real Estate and Consulting Firms
  • Must have knowledge of the financial, banking, and institutional investor communities
  • 5+ years successful track record of consultative and solution selling skills to successfully represent products and services to prospects through online demonstrations of our software solutions
  • Computer proficiency: Email and MS Office
  • Experience using Teams, WebEx and webinar tools is required
  • This role requires a self-starter who is intuitive, curious, confident, tenacious and bold in pursuing opportunities and growing revenue
  • Ability and experience to easily source and cold call on new accounts is required
  • This is a field-based position that will require travel and face to face meetings with prospects
  • Business development strength and insight to forecast sales revenue accurately in Salesforce.com is required
  • A strong strategic sense of successful go to market strategies within the Architectural, Contracting, and owner communities of the construction industry
