The Partner Development Manager is an experienced channel sales professional responsible for implementing and building and growing indirect and influence sales in their designated region, with the primary goal of sales acceleration through pipeline generation with partners. The PDM will build credibility and trust to drive partner wallet-share in Egnyte. The role involves execution of all aspects of channel management including partner recruitment, enablement, strategic partner planning, on-going partner management, and co-selling into end-customer organizations with resellers and/or influence partners. The PDM will be a primary contact for territory channel partners and will be responsible for managing the overall corporate relationship with those partners.

 

The PDM will also need to build trust,credibilityand relevance with reseller and Egnyte sales teams. Therefore, experience in customer sales to coach partners in selling Egnyte technology would be helpful. By extension, driving strategic alignment between our Egnyte direct sales teams and will be a critical success factor. This will require working with Egnyte Sales Managers to develop and evangelize the regional channel plan that accelerates the regions overall sales performance.

Egnyte is seeking an experienced Sr. Software Engineer to join our Software Engineering (Infrastructure) group. The Software Engineering (Infrastructure) group builds large distributed components and services that run Egnyte’s Cloud Platform. Our code serves billions of requests per day with sub-second latency in a fault-tolerant environment. The Salesforce Administrator will participate in the ongoing development of our Salesforce.com deployment. The successful candidate will have a record of success in improving processes and adoption using the Force.com platform. The administrator will work closely with functionalleaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify develop and deploy new business processes as well as enhance core program business processes. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Serve as a system administrator for the Salesforce.com environment with ~500 users, with a focus on Partner Management
  • Handle administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, validations, flows, and other routine tasks within Sales Cloud and managedpackages
  • Complete regular internal system audits and prepare forupgrades
  • Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new developmentrequests
  • Work with other members of the Salesforce administrator team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change managementactivities
  • Assist in training of new users, and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across theorganization
  • Effectively act as the liaison between our users,vendorsand the application development team

About the Role:

Egnyte is looking for a high-energy individual who is experienced in building SaaS products and leading top-notch engineers. Your team will be responsible for delivering enhancements and improvements to Egnyte’s vast ecosystem of 3rd party applications. Our Ecosystem Team specializes in building lightweight Node.js apps, SDKs and adoption tools, allowing for 3rd party integrations with Egnyte, and also leading development with strategic partners such as Google or Microsoft. Team owns separate infrastructure (Kubernetes in Google Cloud) and has full independence in terms of choosing technologies and tools to use.

You will build and grow the team and keep them engaged and productive, while tackling complexities of integrating diverse subsystems and collaborating in a global team environment.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, grow and hire software engineers.
  • Work closely with product managers and program managers in order to deliver a best-in-class product in adherence to schedule
  • Be highly hands-on through design and code reviews, customer issue triage, and developing domain expertise.
  • Build and maintain Node.js web services in Production scale. We have over 30 Node.js services already, including high traffic.
  • Create and evolve development processes, metrics, and team culture.

Must-Have qualifications:

  • 2+ years of years of people management experience managing software engineers, and 10+ years of development experience in software engineering.
  • Previous experience in leading and growing cross-functional development teams of 2-5 individual contributors.
  • Proven track record of delivering top quality software under tight deadlines, with agility, in a highly collaborative and cross-functional environment.
  • Expert knowledge of JavaScript, ES6     
  • Recent experience with being hands-on with code reviewing and development
  • Experience in debugging multi-threaded applications and performance analysis.

  • Exceptional organization skills and interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the project management and coordinate the work of our internal teams and future external consulting partners.
  • Support the SOX 404 financial statement mapping, risk assessment and scoping processes by identifying significant and critical processes and ensure adequate scope and testing.
  • Ensure appropriateness of internal control documentation for financial processes, including planning documents, narratives, process maps, walkthroughs, and tests of controls
  • Communicate identified findings and propose recommendations to management; track the remediation and closure of findings.
  • Maintain close working relationships with all major functional areas as well as external auditors, ensuring a holistic understanding of key risks and processes of the organization.
  • Support the future build-out of the Internal Audit function and inaugural audit planning.
  • Develop Internal Audit policies and procedures including best practice templates.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • CPA, CIA, CISA or other relevant professional certification
  • A BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance or Management Information Systems or related field is required.
  • A deep understanding of GAAP, COSO, COBIT, Sarbanes Oxley Act, and PCAOB auditing standards and experienced in the use of auditing and risk assessment frameworks.
  • 4+ years of Sarbanes-Oxley audit experience (internal audit, IT audit or management) in SaaS and cloud-based technology industries
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with SOX and PMO tools and best practice approaches
  • Strong understanding of IT controls and automated business processes and the risks surrounding those in a SaaS and/or online platform/marketplace environments
  • Strong understanding of risks and controls from both compliance and process enhancement perspectives
  • Understanding of financial risks of fraud and error and their overall impact to financial control environments
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills

Willing to work during US Eastern time everyday

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The Salesforce Administrator will participate in the ongoing development of our Salesforce.com deployment. The successful candidate will have a record of success in improving processes and adoption using the Force.com platform. The administrator will work closely with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify develop and deploy new business processes as well as enhance core program business processes. The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of our CRM platform.

The Salesforce Administrator will also provide ongoing coaching and support to users (maintaining roles, permissions, securities, etc.), implement customizations/configurations to page layouts, records, and objects, maintain the integrity of all data, and troubleshoot as necessary. The incumbent will also handle release management and continuously educate users on changes and tips to increase usability.


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as a system administrator for the Salesforce.com environment with ~500 users
  • Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, validations, flows, and other routine tasks within Sales Cloud, Salesforce CPQ, ReferenceEdge and other managed packages.
  • Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades.
  • Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests.
  • Work with other members of the Salesforce administrator team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities.
  • Assist in training of new users and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization.
  • Effectively act as the liaison between our users, vendors and the application development team.
  • Work independently to maintain subject matter expertise with each new Salesforce.com release.
  • Engage with system users and business analysts to identify system enhancements and/or new applications to meet business needs.
  • Actively contribute to the development of solutions and ideas that add value.
  • Develop elegant, simple, and scalable solutions.
  • Proactively perform extensive system testing to ensure that the systems work efficiently and are developed following the applicable development methodology.
  • Create unit tests to ensure accuracy. Identify highest risk areas and drive resolution of these issues.
  • Effectively and actively play the role of technical advisor for projects, providing advice on tools, process and design to others.
  • Ensures project goals make sense and overall development objectives are being met.


REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum three years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator
  • One or more years of Salesforce CPQ experience highly preferred
  • Familiarity with integrated marketing and prospecting tools preferred (i.e. Marketo, Outreach)
  • Excellent project management skills and a positive attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards.
  • Creative and analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and current business processes.
  • Sales Cloud certification preferred.
  • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
  • Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom objects, formula fields, process builders or flows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity.
  • Documented history of successfully driving projects to completion
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Billing and/or apex development is a nice to have.
