Product Strategy and Roadmap

  • Use defined business strategy to create effective product strategies
  • Use insights to create product roadmaps that prioritize and guide future product work in alignment with the business strategy and product strategy
  • Set and manage key metrics

 

Product Discovery

  • Stay current on trends related to customer behavior, competitive activity, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies
  • Use input from customer insights, data, industry trends, to determine customer problems worth solving
  • Effectively leverage Design Thinking principles through the product discovery: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test
  • Use experiments and other methods to reduce desirability, feasibility, and viability risk of product concepts

Product Delivery

  • Lead/oversee cross-functional execution of identified solutions
  • Collaborate with Marketing to design and execute effective Go-to-Market strategies
  • Ensure effective communication, alignment, and collaboration with relevant internal and external stakeholders through the entire product development lifecycle

 

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Lead cross-functional teams towards goals without having direct formal authority
  • Partner with stakeholders such as Risk/Compliance, Marketing, Finance, Technology, Data, Operations, Sales, and external vendor partners to deliver products
  • Manage strategic external partners to influence strategic direction and synthesize product roadmaps

  • Bachelors degree required or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • 5+ years experience in banking, fintech, or similar required
  • Experience in product development/management strongly preferred
  • Experience in consumer banking/fintech strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in data analysis preferred
  • Proficiency with large server-based applications and typical desktop software required

  • Execute critical day-to-day activities of the bank’s ERM program, including enterprise-wide risk identification and assessment, promotion of risk-aware culture, and alignment with industry best practices and company goals
  • Support the implementation, documentation, and maintenance of an ERM solution
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and Regulatory Exams for the bank
  • Keep abreast of present and forthcoming Regulatory Guidelines and support necessary modifications to the relevant programs
