Job Summary

In your role, you’ll be partnering with our Sales, R&D and Operations Teams under the direction of the VP of Strategic Solutions & Customer Experience. This is a technical role that requires thinking creatively and adapting early to emerging technologies.

The position requires up to 20% of travel and you will be expected to work approximately 40 hour per week, plus overtime when required. You will perform the duties and have the responsibilities and authority customarily performed and held by an employee in your position or as otherwise may be assigned or delegated to you by the Company.

The responsibility as the Training Manager includes but are not limited to the following:

• Work closely with each department to create curriculum, training guides and certification exams.
• Coordinating, scheduling, and conducting routine training based on curriculum created.
• Continual improvement and enhancement of each Training Program.
• Managing the various training programs and field deployment to ensure that there is a well-trained work force to engage with customers.
• Work closely with the Head of Installation and Service to understand the needs of the field technicians.
• Ensure that new hires are properly trained and ready for duty before servicing customers on their own.
• Leading programs to assist sales and support with new features, functionalities, and partnerships.
• Maintain training room equipment and databases in optimal condition and ready to be always used.
• Setting up training development programs to allow for promotion within the organization.
• Researching new training supplies and materials that will enhance training procedures while providing value to employees.
• Identifying future training needs and including in curriculum
• Respond to requirements identified in RFP’s to provide a training course submittals and documentation.
• Resolving any specific problems and tailoring training programs as necessary.
• Working with product teams to create and maintain a training knowledge base.
• Participate in Trade Shows as necessary.

We are seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for designing and implementing computer and information networks.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain services effectively and securely
• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud solutions, monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement backup and disaster recovery plans.
• Implement best practices on the AWS platform, migrate to or operate in the AWS cloud, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
• Configure and manage virtual private clouds (VPCs), identity and access management (IAM) policies, user accounts, data backups, and other AWS services
• Monitor system performance, uptime, and security using AWS tools such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Trusted Advisor
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud solutions and ensure alignment with business objectives and industry standards.
• Stay updated with the latest cloud computing developments, including new products and features offered by AWS
• Provide guidance and support to customers on how to use AWS services effectively and efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• At least one year of experience working with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification or higher
• Proficient in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Node.js
• Familiar with cloud computing concepts such as scalability, availability, and security
• Familiar with DevOps tools and practices such as CI/CD, automation, and testing
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Attend on-site survey walks as needed for the purpose of confirming system configuration and capability based on conditions found.
• Assist the Sales Team as an industry and system expert, to answer and explain to customers the benefit of using TIBA or HUB systems.
• Manage System Requirement expectations to the customer in collaboration with the Project Management team.
• Engage with strategic projects until final sign off is obtained.
• Review and comment on system capability of technical documents required by RFP’s, RFI’s and customer inquiries.
• Work with the R&D, Training, Marketing and Operations teams to become system and content expert for the purpose of providing high-level, technical expertise and support for solutions to end-user customers by using a consultative approach.
• Respond to and complete Sales Requests and inquiries in a timely manner based on assignments by your manager.
• Support the sales team efforts by providing solutions and technical expertise and workflow assessment to end-user customers.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence, persistence and overcoming obstacles.
• Demonstrate initiative with the ability to seek out relevant information along with operating with a sense of urgency.

The role of a Service Engineer at FAAC Entrance Solutions UK is extremely varied, on a daily basis you will be responding to a variety of service call outs, completing fault finding & diagnosis on site, regular servicing of automatic pedestrian doors and participating in new system installs & updates.

Key responsibilities:

• Respond to calls for service as directed by the Planning team

• Fault finding and remedy faults within our customer service level agreements

• Maintenance, service and repair of auto pedestrian doors

• Control of spare parts

• Carry out PPM (planned preventative maintenance)

• Participate in new system installations and upgrades

• Carry out company documentation efficiently and on time where required

• Promote the cross sale of Company products where possible
