Job Description

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee and execute complex automated marketing programs within Pardot and work closely with the Programs Management Team and Product Managers to maximize effectiveness of each program
  • Administer marketing automation – creation, scheduling and performance reporting on emails, forms, landing pages, and campaigns; list creation and segmentation; build nurture programs based on list segmentations; support and troubleshoot CRM integration as well as connectors to different marketing technologies; user and asset management
  • Create user personas and segmentation rules to create compelling content strategies and customer journeys.
  • Optimize the lead scoring model and manage the process to increase success of lead quality and volume
  • Build new campaign workflows for drip campaigns, including targeting and timing logic, if/then scenarios that include more targeted workflows based on responsive behavior, call-to action logic, from logic and automated tasks
  • Progressive Profiling for higher conversions
  • Troubleshoot any reported errors, ensuring that campaigns fire as designed, opt-outs are processed successfully, and correct variable fields are being used for personalization
  • Own and maintain marketing specific dashboards in BI and/or CRM software
  • Establish, document, and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign and lead management
  • Provide insights to stakeholders for campaign performance, demand generation metrics and KPIs with Pardot and Salesforce and/or other BI platforms
  • Collaborate with Salesforce Administrator to perform data de-duping and clean up procedures, including data migrations and mass data uploads
     

Who You Are & What You Bring

  • 3+ years of Salesforce experience.
  • 3+ years of Salesforce Pardot experience.
  • BA/BS required
  • Pardot certification preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where strategies or campaigns can quickly shift as business needs warrant
  • Solid knowledge of HTML/CSS coding for email
  • Experience managing paid media platforms focused on lead generation is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, complemented by the ability to give direction, problem-solve, and take on new challenges while paying strong attention to detail.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage simultaneous campaigns while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Deep hands-on experience in building B2B marketing programs using Pardot to help drive highly qualified leads into the sales funnel.
  • Intimately familiar with Pardot lead qualification process (grading & scoring).
  • Knowledge of Account based Marketing.
  • Good knowledge of setting up & managing Salesforce & Pardot connectors.
  • Well versed in best practices for administering Pardot ecosystem.

The Field Application Scientist (FAS) is responsible for supporting the technical business functions of Fortis Life Sciences in a pre-sales and post-sales manner with an emphasis on the nanoComposix portfolio. The purpose of the role is to support customers with applications questions related to the nanoComposix portfolio and complimentary products within the Fortis portfolio in a pre-sales and post-sales manner. The FAS will communicate internally with the commercial organization on the technical applications of products with the goal of supporting continued growth of the Fortis portfolio and brand.

General Functions

  • Become an expert in all applications supported by Fortis products including proficient knowledge in experimental set-up, troubleshooting, and accessory products/instrumentation
  • Conduct ongoing product and application presentations and trainings for customers
  • Participate in internal global field application calls to maintain knowledge and proficiency of all products and applications
  • Troubleshoot issues with on-market products as needed
  • Communicate with customers and commercial organization on a routine basis, keeping all parties informed and up to date
  • Learn new product portfolios as they become available and train internal team and customers on new offerings

Pre-Sales Functions

  • Understand the technical details of open opportunities and be able to discuss a technical strategy with the account manager to ensure a successful win
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations remotely and in-person
  • Technically compare the benefits of Fortis products and highlight the shortcomings of competitive products

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • 4-year bachelor’s degree in life sciences, chemistry, or engineering required. Masters or PhD preferred
  • 2+ years working in a technical commercial role supporting customers in pre-sales and post-sales situations
  • 2+ years practical experience working with nanoparticles in diagnostic, lateral flow, nanomedicine, or other life science applications
  • High degree of computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and ability to utilize computer-based tools for reports, email and for general communication

Skills & Knowledge

  • Life sciences, biotechnology, nanoparticles, nanomedicine, diagnostics, antibody-based assays, flow cytometry, imaging, lateral flow assays, ELISA
  • Excellent oral and written English communication, including communicating in a way that a non-technical end user can understand
  • Ability to think, learn, and solve problems quickly
  • Ability to operate independently and remotely with at least 1 weekly meeting with supervisor
