GigCentric is hiring a Remote Software Quality Assurance / UI Testor Internship
Job Description
- Define & establish a testing standard for the development life cycle process
- Create efficiencies in our testing processes prior to launch
- Breakdown feature components outlined in design specifications into a structured test plan with consideration for; functionality, the user experience and metrics.
- Work, communicate and collaborate with our design & engineering/developer team to identify any gaps and other risk areas to extinguish.
- Complete daily scrums with our Scrum Master.
- Attend feature design meetings and create internal documentation.
Qualifications
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US on a part-time basis. Visa sponsorship is not available for our internship positions.
- Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate college program in the U.S.
- Be able to work unpaid on a part-time basis (up to 10-15 hours per week)
- Familiarity with Skitch, Loom and other QA programs.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Passion for learning new systems and technologies.
- Ability to identify risks and potential areas of concern with an appropriate sense of urgency.
- Work with team to design, develop and execute test cases targeted to test various front-end and back-end interactions.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, browser and device compatibility tests.
- Execute test cases and analyze results.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams on regression testing, bugs, browser compatibility issues etc.
- Work with cross functional team to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

GigCentric is hiring a Remote Virtual Software Trainer Internship / Video Editor Internship
Job Description
The Virtual Software Trainer / Video Editor Internship will deliver GigCentric Administrator training to GigCentric Customers, Partners, and Employees in virtual environments. In this capacity, you will become a subject matter expert and evangelist for GigCentric product(s) and the life sciences domain and will be responsible for ensuring training participants can effectively use, administer, and configure GigCentric products upon signing up for our services.
What You'll Do
- Deliver GigCentric Training to Customers, Partners, and Employees in both a virtual (majority of the time)
- Mentor and coach training participants
- Help with the administration of the Training Management Office (TMO)
- Become a Subject Matter Expert for GigCentric Products as well as the application/value of those products to the business domain of GigCentric's customers
- Update and customize course curriculum and labs as directed
Requirements
- Interest or experience training internal (employees) and external (customers and partners) stakeholders on how to administer, configure, and integrate software products
- Working towards a Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Interest in service delivery (consulting, training) experience with a SaaS company in the enterprise (B2B) space
- Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated aptitude for speaking to both a technical audience and a business user audience.
- Flexible, collaborative, team-oriented individual who shows initiative and holds themselves accountable.
- Detail oriented

- Experience in the events industry
- Experience with document management systems
- Graphic design skills are a huge plus

- Experience with Talkia
- Experience with Camtasia type software
Qualifications
- Background in software, professional courses or certification in a related field.
- Self starter, quick learner and able to work independently.
