About the Project

They're a growing, dedicated team of experts in Machine Learning, NLP, Psychology, Coaching, and Family Support. Their main product -adigital platform, along with parenting consultants, delivers tailored support to their diverse user base spanning individuals, established families, and everyone in between.

This support platform for parents provides 24/7 access to a wide range of wellness & family experts via chat or video call. Currently, they have a no-code platform, which they are looking to move to a web application and potentially native platforms in the future.

About the Role

So, the Lead Full-stack Developer who will join KinHub will have a chance to work on the project from scratch, having the ability to influence and own technical roadmap, working closely with founders and product leadership to deliver a best-in-class employee wellbeing solution.

You will join as the only developer in the team with the opportunity to lead and grow our nascent engineering team as we scale our offering to the next level.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for making key architecture decisions, making sure we implement best practices in integration and platform efficiencies that meet the user experience;
  • Delivering on the company’s product vision by spearheading the build of our web app which will integrate with our existing chatbot and emotion detection features;
  • Working closely with Product Management to provide clarity on time estimates, detailed development tasks, and general reports;
  • Achieving creative tech solutions using frameworks or code bases such as but not limited to React and NodeJS;
  • Supervising and mentoring junior software engineers;

Essential knowledge, skills & experience:

  • Experience building in AWS (Amazon Web Services)and understanding Amazon microservices (such as AWS Amplify)
