Job Description

We are looking for an Organizational Psychology PhD / Post-Doc intern (50%) to support our Research in collecting, analysing, and publishing insights on best practices for people development and team effectiveness.

We are currently working on three domains of expertise:

  • Leadership & team effectiveness models
  • measurement of leadership potential
  • AI applied to Learning & Development

You will work closely with the head of research to achieve the goals of our research roadmap.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualification

  • Planning to start soon, started, or just finished a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology or similar 
  • Running complex data analysis including multi-level regression, MANCOVA, CFA
  • Proficiency with R or Python for data analysis
  • Exceptional academic writing
  • Ability to manage time and achieve goals in a fully remote team
  • Commitment to deadlines
  • A passion for people development & the belief that research can improve workplace dynamics

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.  

  • Thought Leadership in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. 

  • Proven experience in designing and developing AI/ML models and applications.  

  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and statistical methods. 

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and C++. 

  • Experience with AI tools and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).  

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and SQL databases. 

  • Familiar with the integration of different systems and the use of APIs.  

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on translating complex technical concepts into practical applications. 

  • Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git). 

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

WHAT WILL YOU BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR?

  • Product owner of the CORE assessment suite
  • Lead the development and enhancement of assessment products, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including experts in psychometrics, technology, and consulting.
  • Manage the entire project lifecycle for creating assessment and development solutions, from gathering requirements to launch, while ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timelines.
  • Demonstrate a proactive and self-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making, allowing for independent and efficient project navigation.
  • Evaluate and update assessment norms to ensure the validity and relevance of products, while also exploring opportunities to enhance flexibility in assessment approaches.
  • Apply your deep understanding of psychometrics to contribute to the design and validation of assessment tools, maintaining the highest standards of reliability and validity.

*This is a remote home-based role for candidates based in Europe only.

Qualifications

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

  • Master's degree in social sciences (IO psychology preferred)
  • 5 to 8 years of relevant professional experience within the consulting and human capital sectors. 
  • Proven track record of managing end-to-end projects, demonstrating excellent organizational and project management skills. 
  • Ability to operate independently and make well-informed decisions to drive project success. 
  • Proven expertise with psychometrics, including the ability to understand and lead the design and validation of assessment tools. Comfortable using or is interested in learning to use SPSS/Jamovi/R (or equivalent) and Microsoft Excel for data analysis.  
  • Technical ability to effectively communicate business requirements with technology teams. Sound understanding of assessment-related software. 
  • Experience in building and managing assessment systems or platforms with focus on user experience would be ideal.  
  • Any previous exposure to Artificial Intelligence solutions would be desirable.  
  • Strategic thinking and a keen eye for innovation and improvement.
