What you will be doing
At InstaFreight, we are taking the next step in our growth phase with our highly scalable transportation management (4PL) solution for land transportation in Europe. We have combined our expertise in software and tech with a world-class logistics solution to create a whole new level in transportation management. Our Transport Management solution portfolio reduces direct and indirect costs of client’s transport logistics by up to 25% and significantly improves performance.
We have won a broad spectrum of DAX 40 companies and SMEs as customers and are now scaling Transport Management throughout Europe. For this endeavor, we are looking for a Sales Manager (m/f/d) who will bring our product to the marketplace, qualify and develop prospects into active customers.
As integral and crucial sales function within the business development team, you will be the enabler and coordinator for our continued success in establishing InstaFreight’s Transport Management as the leading solution for land transportation in Europe!

New Business Development
  • You support building and managing a pipeline for new leads and prospects, qualify and identify opportunities for long-term collaborations and initiate relevant contacts
  • You develop a deep understanding about your customers’ needs / gains / pain points and support to design customized concepts and implementation proposals
  • You actively cross-sell/up-sell within our existing customer base and develop innovative ideas that inspire our customers and co-operate with marketing on the presentation of solutions

Management and Research
  • You manage and analyze client and sales process data within and outside CRM for continuous enhancement of the sales process and track the success of your activities on leads, prospects and accounts

Business Development Planning
  • You attend functions of our and our client’s industries, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends
  • You present to and consult with the management on business trends with a view to developing new service elements and distribution channels
  • You identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
What you bring to the role
  • You have +2 years professional experience in logistics, preferably with 4PL, LLP, supply chain management or consulting background
  • You bring a deep understanding of customer’s logistics setup, operational requirements, processes and relevant IT infrastructure
  • You possess strong problem-solving skills and consequentially exercise good judgment and appropriate discretion when reaching conclusions
  • You are a charismatic and empathetic communicator and a natural networker and rapport builder
  • You work analytically from the customer's and entrepreneur's point of view
  • You play very well in a team as well as independently, proactively take responsibility for your projects and drive them forward
  • You are on C2 level in German and English
