You

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • At least two years of engineering management experience, especially in a related application area, or experience in a Tech Lead role with a strong desire to grow into a management position
  • At least seven years of software engineering or individual contributor experience, including at least two years of experience in Python, with significant exposure to designing, building, and maintaining large-scale, high-performance distributed systems
  • Demonstrated experience managing teams in a high-growth startup environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to develop and maintain effective business relationships
  • Strong problem solving and decision making skills, with a track record of successfully driving projects to completion
  • Deep understanding of software and hardware concepts, including Linux kernel internals, systems programming, networking, storage, database systems, security
  • Expertise in modern containerization and virtualization technologies, e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, KVM

Salary Range Information 

Based on market data and other factors, the salary range for this position is $190,000 - $270,000. However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.

About the Role

As a Senior Enterprise Account Executive at Lambda, you will close multi-million dollar deals with the Fortune 500. Our enterprise customers include Airbus, Tesla, Microsoft, Facebook and Amazon Research.

What You’ll Do 

  • Build strategic relationships with key Life Science Organizations, Pharmaceutical Firms, and Medical Research Organizations and Hospital Organizations, including University Hospitals
  • Understanding of the mechanisms and challenges of the US healthcare market and provider infrastructure/system
  • Experience with US public and private funding organizations for healthcare and AI research is highly desirable
  • Forecast revenue goals and drive short and long term revenue opportunities
  • Engage startup customers and partners in healthcare to learn the early indicators of market disruptions
  • Own strategic accounts and develop account plans for winning and expanding business
  • Lead complex, technical, consultative sales
  • Contribute to the development and execution of our outbound strategy in general and specifically for Healthcare/Life Science customers. This includes on-site presentations, executive level networking, and conference attendance
  • Support product development in the healthcare/life science domain by influencing the product and marketing teams with options that directly target this new market and allow Lambda to dramatically increase its customer base in the sector

You 

  • Have an understanding of the use of AI in the healthcare industry
  • Have the ability to open doors quickly and assess the customers' desire for building a relationship with Lambda
  • 5+ years of direct sales experience within Healthcare, Biotech, Genomics, or Life Sciences
  • 10+ years of technical sales experience with a track record of top performance
  • A background or strong interest in selling AI solutions, cloud computing, GPU hardware, or infrastructure as a service (IaaS)
  • A history of managing multi-million dollar customer relationships and closing $10M+ deals
  • Experience working in healthcare, medical research, drug discovery, protein folding, digital imaging is beneficial
  • Capable of engaging in business-level and technical conversations at multiple levels of the organization, including VPs of machine learning, heads of IT infrastructure, and the C-Suite
  • A passion for developing a new market
  • Excellent social skills and working across all internal functions (engineering, sales, marketing, executives), as well as external partners and customers
  • A willingness to share success with the team. Mentoring new members is a meaningful part of your career
  • Are able to travel extensively
