Job Description

As a Project Coordinator, you will report to the Cross-functional Project Manager at Ludia and work closely with all business units to develop and align priorities for cross-functional projects.

With strong project management, communication and organizational skills, you will be responsible for reinforcing/supporting the company-wide project manager in a variety of areas, including process improvement, business community integration and cross-functional project development. 

The objective of the Project Coordinator is to help manage the studio's range of process improvements and collaborative development and improve project management processes, managing project/program templates and processes for scoping, planning, delivery, tracking, business value, change management.

The project coordinator's overall mission is part of the Project Impact framework, which includes a wide range of cross-functional project sub-categories.

As part of its people-oriented development, Ludia aims to provide a cross-functional framework to support collaboration between teams. Maintain an evolutionary approach to business and promote a continuous improvement approach in the Studio's projects.

You will report directly to the Cross-functional Project Management Manager.

Your responsibilities are:

  • Contribute to the development of the Studio's cross-functional multi-project portfolio, 
  • Assist internal communities in establishing continuous improvement strategies,
  • Provide a framework for project execution in a spirit of evolution (project methodology, planning, tracking)
  • Write project management documentation for agile development and cross-functional projects,
  • Propose, implement and facilitate process improvement;
  • Coordinate, facilitate and document Community/Guild retrospectives to extract key learnings and ensure sustainability;
  • Coordinate the evaluation and preparation of various projects;
  • Contribute to good project management practices in cross-functional projects

 

Qualifications

    We are looking for

    • Bachelor's degree in management or similar field,
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in project coordination or related field,
    • Knowledge of agile, waterfall and Kanban, 
    • Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Trello,
    • Ability to work with cross-functional teams,
    • Ability to work in multi projects,
    • Ability to retrieve information and disseminate it, 
    • Knowledge in change management is an asset,
    • Knowledge of the mobile games industry is an asset.

    As a Data Developer at Ludia, you will be part of the central analytics team that supports the entire studio. The team’s vision is to accelerate the growth of Ludia’s portfolio by leveraging data, analytics and insights to their fullest. In this role, you will mainly maintain, improve and build a variety of data pipelines to enable our stakeholders to make data informed decisions. You will be achieving this in collaboration with analysts, product managers, software engineers and other data owners.  Our data stack includes Amplitude, Fivetran, Adjust, Snowflake, DBT,  Airflow and Tableau, and we follow the modern analytics mindset. This role reports directly to the Director of Analytics.

    Responsibilities

    • Maintain and improve our Snowflake data warehouse using DBT with limited guidance.
    • Take part in data governance by assuming the role and responsibilities of the data steward.
    • Coach/support analysts on software development best practices applied to data (version control, testing suites, CI pipelines).
    • Maintain data documentation, tests and definitions.
    • Collaborate with our central technology team on data infrastructure projects (internal data tracking, etc).
    • Help govern our Snowflake account to make sure we optimize for performance and cost.
    • Recommend and help implement improvements to our technologies and processes.

    Qualifications

    What we're looking for:

    • Experience with data warehouse design and modelling.

    Job Description

    Our ideal candidate can demonstrate of an excellent knowledge of the production cycle, the difficulties generally encountered by the teams, and the solutions bespoke to their requirements. He must be able to show his ability to analyze problems and provide consistent guidance on different areas : art, game design , organization, business, etc.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Define the game's vision, and its development strategy, build the schedules, the resource requirements and structure to ensure the achievement of the vision in collaboration with the executive management team;
    • Kick-off and track all the production processes through the direct management of the team leads (design, art, programming, QA)
    • Develop and maintain optimal project schedules for all functional areas of development
    • Ensure a timely delivery of the milestones whilst ensuring the quality conforming to the predefined project schedule
    • Manage the risks and approve the contingency plans
    • Draw up and present the status of the project to management
    • Represent the project internally and externally;
    • Negotiate agreements with internal and external suppliers whenever necessary
    • Work with QA to triage the game issues and drive the updates to the game service
    • Collaborate with the Studio production leads to improve the overall quality of our games, the productivity of our teams and the efficiency of our pipelines and processes.

     

    Qualifications

    You Must Have: 

    • 5+ years’ experience as a Producer in the games industry
    • 3+ years’ experience as a Producer in the mobile game industry
    • Candidate must have a track record of at least two video game titles shipped and published
    • In depth knowledge of the mobile video game market and culture, as well as F2P games
    • Excellent interpersonal abilities combining leadership and diplomacy
    • Proven experience managing a team of 10+ developers (programmers, artists, animators, designers, testers)
    • Be result oriented and having a constant connection with mobile consumer expectations

    • Serious passion for games — you are a gamer and have been for years
    • 7+ years of experience as a game designer
    • Social, online and/or mobile game design experience
    • Thorough understanding of games' commercial appeal, including outside your personal gamer demographic
    • Bilingual French/English is preferred
