About the role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance Administrator will work closely with the Finance Officer to assist and support the reconciliation of MessageMedia Group banking and trade debtors accounts on a weekly and monthly basis. This role will involve following a set of defined processes to upload transactions and identify and investigate unreconciled items. The successful candidate will be comfortable with handling large data sets and communicating results or issues that arise from the process.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Extract data from payment platforms and bank statements from online banking.
  • Prepare weekly bank journal upload files for the MessageMedia Group’s bank accounts.
  • Prepare the monthly trade debtors clearing journal upload file.
  • Match bank statement with payment platform data.
  • Identify and investigate unreconciled transactions.
  • Assist and provide the Finance Officer with relevant data for monthly reporting.

About the role
The Customer Support Technician is responsible for assisting external and internal customers by monitoring, investigating, and troubleshooting technical issues and incidents. They support our customers throughout the entire customer lifecycle, including provisioning, onboarding, and maintenance.       • Must have working knowledge in React ecosystem and concepts (Redux, Ant Design, Webpack, Form management, etc.)
      • At least 1 year of experience with AWS S3, CloudFront, and Lambda@Edge
      • Experience in using different unit testing tools such as Jest and Enzyme
      • Passion for a clean code with an eye for simplicity
      • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
      • Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex issues.
      • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
      • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and virtual teams.
      • Working laptop or desktop and stable internet connection

      Advantageous skills or nice-to-haves:

      • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, and other related fields
      • Experience with other programming languages such as NodeJS, Python, or Java.
      • Software Architecture experience
      • Experience with API-driven services and micro-front ends
      • Familiarity with integration Testing tools such as Cypress and Percy
