Your Role:

Monolith is scaling rapidly and cloud computing will allow us to modernize and consolidate IT infrastructure, automate workloads, and pursue next-generation innovation. To continue this transformation, we’re seeking an experienced DevOps Senior Cloud Engineer with expertise in the strategy, design, development, and implementation of large-scale projects in the cloud. The ideal candidate is experienced in cloud-based technology, with a firm grasp of emerging technologies, platforms, and applications, and ability to customize them to help our business become more secure and efficient. Extensive knowledge of tenant management, cloud maintenance, experience planning and directing work, and advanced industry knowledge is key to keeping us on the cutting edge. From day one, you’ll have an immediate impact on the day-to-day efficiency of our IT operations, and an ongoing impact on our overall growth.

You Will:

• Help design, implement, and guide our infrastructure strategy
• Work in tandem with our IT team and business facing teams to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for the company
• Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance
• Provide guidance, thought leadership, and mentorship to development teams to build cloud competencies with IT and engineering staff
• Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful design
• Manage cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines
• Develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy cloud applications as needed, including large-scale data processing, computationally intensive statistical modeling, and advanced analytics
• Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle for cloud deployed solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance
• Troubleshoot incidents, identify root cause, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures
• Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training as required
• Employ exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity

You Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, mathematics, or related field. Extensive experience and certifications will be considered in lieu of degree.
• 3+ years of experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• An understanding of and experience with the five pillars of a well-architected frameworks

Advantageous

• Microsoft or AWS certifications are a plus
• Virtualization and Container technologies (VM, HyperV, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of web services, API, REST, and RPC

Your Role:

At Monolith, we rely on powerfully insightful data to inform our systems and solutions—and we’re seeking an experienced pipeline-centric Data Engineer to put it to use. Our ideal hire will have the mathematical and statistical expertise you’d expect, combined with a rare curiosity and creativity. You’ll wear many hats in this role, but much of your focus will be building out our plans to manage large volumes of engineering and business data. Beyond technical prowess, you’ll need the soft skills it takes to communicate highly complex data trends to organizational leaders in a way that’s easy to understand. We’re looking for someone willing to jump right in to help the company get the most out of our data.

You Will:

• Work with data to solve business problems, building and maintaining the infrastructure to answer questions and improve processes
• Select and operate data management and analysis tools including: database, cloud data platforms, analysis tools.
• Help initiate our data science workflows, adding value to our product offering and building out our customer lifecycle and retention models
• Be an advocate for best practices and continued learning
• Work closely with our engineers to help build complex algorithms that provide unique insights into our data
• Use agile software development processes to iteratively make improvements to our back end systems

You Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or equivalent work experience
• Experience with SQL/database and data visualization/exploration tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)
• Experience in several of the following areas: database architecture, ETL, business intelligence, big data, machine learning, advanced analytics
• Familiarity with data lake and big data platforms (Azure, Teradata, SAS, Hadoop, etc.)
• Familiarity with the Microsoft or AWS ecosystem
• Proven ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams of business analysts, developers, data scientists, and subject matter experts
• Communication skills, especially explaining technical concepts to non-technical business leaders
• Comfort working in a dynamic, research-oriented team with concurrent projects

Your Role:

We are building an information security program tosupportMonolith’s mission to makethe Hydrogen to Power and Green World. The Information SecurityEngineer is a hands-on role that requires a high level of technical expertiseto protect intellectual property and prevent businessinterruptions.The person in this position is responsible for a broad range of tasksand thought leadership, including the day-to-day administration of cybersecurity tools and devices, as well assupport forvarious security tools and processes. They willmanage and coordinate work with third partyServicesProviders (MSP andMSSP). Their role willinclude responsibilities for the security administration of avariety of IT systems across the enterprise, whileresearching,recommending, and implementingcybersecuritysolution. 

Some of the Information Security Engineer'stasks maybe in support of audits as well as legal due diligence, risk management or GRC efforts.  

You Will:

Event Management/SIEM Management 

• Respond to and, where appropriate, resolve or escalate reported security incidents 
• Monitor system logs, SIEM tools and network traffic for unusual or suspicious activity. Interpret such activity in conjunction with MSSP and drives action toresolution 
• Investigate and resolve security violations by providing postmortem analysis to illuminate the issues and possible solutions 

Identity and Access Management 

• In accordance with the defined policies, standards and procedures of the organization, monitor internal control systems to ensure that appropriate information access levels and security clearances are maintained 

• Perform periodic reviews of user access and change requests performed by MSP. 
• Provide direction to the MSP to Administerand maintainend-user accounts, permissions,and access rights for all systems 

Infrastructure Protection 

• Participate in infrastructure projects to develop, plan and implement specifications for network and distributed system security technologies, including operating systemsand applications 
• Assist withthe management of firewalls, intrusion detection systems,andnetwork-basedsecurity services. 

• Perform installation and configuration management of security systems and applications, including policy assessment and compliance tools, network security appliances and host-based security systems 
• Install, configure,and test new security software and/or technologies in conjunction with MSP andMSSP 
• Support data encryption deployments, including key management in conjunction with MSP 

Risk and Control Assessment 

• Implement or coordinate remediation required by audits, and documentsexceptions as necessary 

• Oversee system and application vulnerability testing performed by the MSSP 
• Participate in enterprise testing and assessment activities as a representative of IT 
• Collate security incident and event data to produce monthly exception and management reports. Escalatesand communicates unresolved network security exposures, misuse of resources or noncompliance situations using defined escalation processes 

Threat and Vulnerability Management 

• Research threats and vulnerabilities and, where appropriate, takes action to mitigate threats and remediate vulnerabilities in conjunction with MSSP and MSP 

• Review, assess, and mitigate penetration tests and vulnerability assessments on information systems and infrastructure 
• Recommend, schedule and/or apply fixes, security patches and any other measures required in the event of a security breach in conjunction with MSP 
• Monitor security vulnerability information from vendors and third parties 

Security Engineering 

• Review network security diagrams 

• Support cybersecurity architectural requirements 
• Participate in cybersecurity working groups
• Perform other duties as needed. 

You Have:

• Bachelor's degree in information systems,information assurance, computer science,MISor equivalent experience 
• 5yearsof relevant experiencewith 3years in information security 
• An equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the job duties and responsibilities.  
• Relevant security certification(s) such as: CISSP, CISM, CISA, SANS,etc.  

You Are:

• Knowledgeable of cybersecurity principles, including risk assessment and management, threat and vulnerability management, incident response, and identity and access management 

• Technically proficient withmultiplesecuritysystems and applicationssuch as: Email security gateways, EDR, SIEM,threat &vulnerabilitymanagement,firewalls, and Microsoft Security tools. 
• Familiar with IaaS cloud computing
