About the role

As aDevOps Engineeryou will collaborate closely with the Backend Team and Engineering Lead on all aspects of our infrastructure from planning, to design to deployment. You will identify and address technical debt, and take active part in code review.

About you
You have a strong sense of ownership, a passion for building highly scalable, secure and resilient infrastructure with strategic  focus on extensive automation. You are eager tobring new ideas to the table that will shape our systems, technology, and company.You previously have, or are willing to work in a remote-first environment and enjoy working with peoplefrom a wide range of technical skills and backgrounds.

Your skillset

• Extensive experience with building highly scalable, resilient and automated infrastructure using Amazon Web Services products. AWS Professional level certification is a plus, but not essential.
• Experience with HashiCorp Terraform, Consul, Nomad, Vault and Fabio
• Experience with with OS, service and network monitoring, troubleshooting and debugging
• Strong knowledge of Docker and Linux
• Solid working knowledge of Python and shell scripting
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines a plus, but not essential
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, both in technical as well as customer and product oriented scenarios
• Ability to navigate the complete project lifecycle from design to production confidently.

You are responsible for making new and existing customers successful with our cloud platform for Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Onboard new customers, service and grow them further by working closely together with key stakeholders in the customer's organization
• Build industry playbooks based on your expertise and solution libraries to unlock new verticals
• Feedback. Support continuous improvement of platform capabilities by providing insights from day-to-day customer work to our product and tech team to make sure that we stay ahead of the competition.
  

Requirements

• Track record of success in role: 3-7 years experience as a customer success lead or other highly relevant role (e.g. management consulting), ideally in a B2B SaaS environment.
• Business acumen. Ability to understand real-life business scenarios and needs of operations managers quickly. Proven deep expertise in at least one industry.
• Tech acumen. Comfortable to understand company system landscapes and basic integration setups with third party systems through API calls (e.g. REST)
• Creative and can do mindset: Ability to create working solutions for customers, even in the abscence of clear blueprints or templates
• Professional. Comfortable and experienced in customer facing settings with polished written and verbal English communication.
• Organization. Experience to juggle / execute multiple projects in parallel without dropping the ball
• Entrepreneurial. Willingness to work in a highly entrepreneurial setting, where not all paths are pre-defined.
