OMIO is seeking an experienced and dynamic, analytical business development professional, reporting to the Commercial Director to help drive our Ferry Category. As the Client Development Analyst, you will be fluent in English and Italian/or Spanish, helping to shape and execute our strategy to drive growth, maximize revenue, and enhance customer experience within the ferry sector. Key Responsibilities:
Category Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the ferry category, including market analysis, pricing, partnerships, and revenue optimization.
Revenue Growth: Identify growth opportunities, set revenue targets, and work to achieve and exceed them, driving revenue growth for the ferry category.
Supplier Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with ferry operators and suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring favorable terms.
Product Development: Collaborate with the product team to enhance the user experience for ferry bookings, and work on developing new features and services.
Pricing and Promotions: Implement effective pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to maximize bookings and revenue.
Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies in the ferry sector, ensuring OMIO's competitive edge.
Performance Metrics: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the ferry category and regularly assess and report on performance.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering.
3+ years of business and commercial/finance or consulting background
knowledge of the ferry/Travel industry is preferred
Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Analytical / data-minded, advanced Excel skills
Competitive Analysis experience
Fluent in English plus Italian and/or Spanish required
Results-driven, with a focus on meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
