About the Role

Your Responsibilities

  • Build a strong sales pipeline by conducting a large volume of daily outbound calls and other types of outreach to current customers and new sales prospects

  • Collaborate with the field and inside sales teams to develop creative outreach strategies.
  • Schedule product demonstrations for field and inside sales representatives.

Essential Functions

  • Replacing our current sidecar proxy with one that provides better telemetry

  • Build tooling to enhance visibility into microservices performance and reliability
  • Write, maintain, and deploy the Terraform modules that define our cloud infrastructure
  • Contribute code to our microservice management platform - theChassis
  • Be part of a 24/7 on-call rotation and a 9-5 triage rotation
  • Document system and application engine configurations and procedures
  • Monitor systems, applications, services, and network performance/availability
  • Work with the team to help maintain the overall security of the Platform
  • Keep apprised of new developments in cloud solutions and educate other team members on related skills

About You


  • Experience operating microservices and (managed) databases in production environments
  • Able to design and write Front and/or Backend APIs
  • Deeply familiar with cloud service providers (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
  • Experience with operating and building applications for Kubernetes clusters
  • Understanding of how to implement and utilize modern SaaS monitoring tools 
  • Excellent oral communication skills and good writing skills
  • Proficiency in at least two programming languages such as Python, Javascript, or Bash 
  • Knowledge of configuration management technologies such as Ansible or Chef

  • Experience designing and delivering data models for large analytical and reporting platforms
  • Working knowledge with a variety of database technologies: cloud, on-premises, and NoSql and columnar database

  • Experience with multiple ETL tools like Talend, Fivetran, Matillion

We are looking for a thoughtful and experienced data integration architect to help design and develop a data integration framework. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of modern data engineering concepts and will work closely with the data architect to build an infrastructure that supports a user base in the millions and datasets with billions of records. The candidate will design and implement a data framework that is inclusive of data integration services spanning data profiling, ingestion, transformation, quality and data ops management services in consultation with other stakeholders. 

 Responsibilities 

  • Deep understanding of Data Integration Framework (DIF) and Analytics Data Architecture (ADA).
  • Design and implement effective solutions utilizing data pipelines, ETL/ELT techniques.
  • Design a set of reusable approaches and processes to implement Data Integration architecture.
  • Work with other SMEs to implement Data Quality solutions into integration flows.
  • Understand ETL/ELT code performance and maintenance implications for implementation.
  • Drive the implementation of the data integration projects with Data as a service mindset that spans data profiling, data ingestion, transformation, quality.
  • Collaborate with Data Architecture and other SMEs. Prepare and present ETL solutions for technical teams.

 Qualifications

  • Experience developing and delivering ETL specifications for large reporting platforms.
  • Experience with multiple ETL and ELT vendors in Modern Data Integration stack:
    • Talend
    • Matillion
    • Fivetran
    • Azure Data Factory
  • Deep understanding of SQL, shell scripting, and Python or Java.
  • Experience with Data Preparation tools like Alteryx.
  • Experience with implementation of various ETL concepts, like CDC(Change Data Capture), different SCD(Slowly Changing Dimension) types, error handling.
  • Understanding of full, incremental, reload processes.
