The opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced family medicine or internal medicine-trained clinician who is passionate about achieving Parsley’s mission through both patient care and clinical leadership.  You are an experienced people manager of other clinicians, thrive on your clinical days caring for patients, and are skilled in or curious about Functional Medicine. You also love to offer your clinical expertise to solve business strategy and operational challenges. 

In the Lead Physician role, you will provide care for your patient panel, support the success and personal development of your clinician team, and support the development of novel clinical protocols, new products, and operational innovations. Our clinicians are typically experienced in internal medicine or family medicine and often have an additional certification in integrative medicine or functional medicine.

This role reports to our VP, Medical Director and rolls up into our SVP, Business & Clinical Operations.

What you’ll do:

  • Supervise a clinician team (MDs, DOs, NPs, PAs) of approximately 7-10 individuals, meeting with each clinician bimonthly for 1:1 syncs (inclusive of both 1099 and W2 clinicians)
  • Provide exceptional patient care in-person and/or virtually (6 patient-facing hours/week, patient panel size of 200 members) according to the guidelines provided by the practice, completing note preparation, lab review, messaging and tasking within our EMR platform (Cerbo/MDHQ)
  • Complete quarterly performance reviews and chat audits, evaluating clinical practices, metrics, documentation, and coding practices
  • Assist with clinician hiring (weekly meetings, interviewing and onboarding new hires in partnership with our People & Culture team)
  • Support our Membership Experience team with both medical compliance issues and sensitive members
  • Supporting our Marketing and Sales team by attending webinars, attending B2B sales pitches, supporting blog articles, vetting new products, and answering questions about specific services and conditions

What you’ll need:

  • MD or DO license
  • Board certification in internal medicine, family medicine, obstetrics/gynecology, rheumatology, endocrinology or other primary care fields
  • 2+ years of experience people managing other clinicians (MDs, DOs, NPs, PAs)
  • 3+ years of experience providing primary care either virtually or in-person, 2+ years of clinical practice post-residency, and 2+ years of experience practicing functional medicine
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Desire to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, high-tech, brand-forward work environment
  • Integrative or functional medicine education and training

The opportunity:

The Coordinator for the Provider Operations team will play a pivotal role in optimizing clinician schedules and enhancing patient access and experience at Parsley. In this new position, you’ll be at the forefront of improving appointment utilization by managing Clinician Waitlists. This role offers the opportunity to develop strong organizational and communication skills and to work closely with the Provider and Clinical Operations teams. This is a full-time temporary assignment expected to last at least four months.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage patient waitlists for our Clinician team
  • Coordinate with patients over platforms via text and phone call to reschedule, cancel, and fill appointments
  • Reach out to waitlist patients to fill abandoned appointment slots
  • Monitor and fill unutilized appointment slots in Clinicians’ schedules
  • Collaborate with Clinicians and cross functional departments to optimize scheduling and patient experience

The opportunity:

Parsley Health has an opportunity for a proactive, critical thinker to fill the role of Accounts Receivables Specialist. This job will be the connection point between the claims processing team and building solutions with clinical operations teams to strengthen member satisfaction and grow revenue. The ideal candidate is someone who finds a thrill in digging deep into a problem to find its source, and working with a team to build a solution. 

The Accounts Receivables Specialist will be primarily responsible for identifying and resolving systems level issues in the Parsley Health revenue cycle including claims member enrollment, claims processing, and payor adjudication. This role will work closely with the Revenue Cycle Director, Member Benefits Associate and other cross functional partners to improve workflows to ensure claims are processed timely and accurately.

What you’ll do:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all issue resolution with Parsley Health’s third party claims and payment processor - including items such as:
    • Fee Schedule Maintenance
    • Claims Releases 
    • Enterprise Billing Set Up
    • User and system maintenance
  • Identify Adjudication Patterns using denial and claim rejection data and partner with the Insurance Operations Manager and cross-functional teams to identify root causes for improved claims workflow
  • Provide support for member facing escalations regarding insurance eligibility and claims denials
  • Serve as a stakeholder and revenue cycle subject matter expert in payer operations process improvements
  • Support the development of insurance based trainings for MX, Coords, FOH
  • Develop Payer Workflow / SOP Creation
  • Payer Ops collaboration with other depts (Sales, EPD, Marketing/Growth) 
  • Verify insurance benefits and check eligibility of all members.

What you’ll need:

  • At least 3+ years of experience in healthcare accounts receivable, billing, and collections.
  • Strong knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 codes and insurance claims processes.
  • Proficiency in healthcare billing software and electronic medical records systems.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical information in a way that is easy for team members and patients to understand.

  • Problem-solve and/or support Clinical Coordinators in the resolution of patient concerns.
  • Support clinicians, health coaches, and members to assist in clinical support responsibilities.

People Management:

  • Lead and manage the Clinical Coordination team, including conducting regular 1:1 meetings to provide support, feedback, and development opportunities. Organize and facilitate team meetings to ensure alignment, share updates, and address any operational challenges.
  • Monitor team metrics on a biweekly basis to ensure Clinical Coordinators are performing effectively.

What you'll do:

You'll need:

Membership

As a Customer Support Representative, you will provide a high level of customer service to Parsley Health Members by corresponding to inquiries both via email, SMS, and over the phone, performing onboarding calls, managing cancellation requests, answering questions about the Program,  and resolving member complaints in a professional and timely manner. This role works closely with our clinical and sales departments to ensure member satisfaction and loyalty.

PST hours are preferred. 

What you’ll do:

Member Advocacy

  • Provide exceptional member service through prompt, accurate, and knowledgeable responses to member inquiries and complaints
  • Maintain ownership of member issues from receipt of the initial request to resolution
  • Follow up with members to ensure their issues have been resolved to their satisfaction
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's products and services
  • Utilize member feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and report trends
  • Assist in developing initiatives to enhance member experience and satisfaction
  • Manage inbound and outbound member inquiries via phone, SMS, and our online messaging platform. 
  • Escalate unresolved member questions to the appropriate department to ensure a quick turnaround for all member inquiries
  • Ability to think on your feet and de-escalate member situations 
  • Assist members with renewal questions and encourage continued care
  • Collect feedback from members and process cancellations 
  • Support members’ scheduling and member portal navigation needs and– troubleshooting as needed
  • This is an evolving and growing department, and role requirements may change and expand as Parsley Health grows.

What you’ll need:

  • At least one year of relevant work experience in a one-to-one client/patient-facing
  • Healthcare tech/start-up experience preferred

The Call Center Manager will be responsible and accountable for driving process improvements, providing feedback, performance/productivity management, reporting, and training. 

What you’ll do:

  • Proactively monitor daily/weekly operational statistics and report trends/variances to inform the business of potential trends, issues, and opportunities for multiple departments within the call center. This includes Sales, Service, and Care coordinators, Prior authorization, Waitlist management, and calls from labs and pharmacies, as well as third-party call center management and vendor management.  
  • Analyze call center data, prepare reports and give presentations to upper management.
  • Hire, onboard, and train Call Center employees.
  • Lead team meetings and coach teams through challenging customer service issues.
  • Ensure the team adheres to company standards when handling member complaints.
  • Handle escalations and overcome objections, focusing on member retention by answering member emails, SMS, and calls at least 10 hours weekly. 
  • Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual call center goals and action plans that can be executed on an agent level. 
  • Prepare and manage weekly team work schedules to ensure sufficient coverage based on forecasted contact volume and handle times. 
  • Manage live call answer rate, escalations, call abandonment rate, labor efficiency, average speed of answer, average time to resolve, and first contact resolution.
  • Drive business results through mentoring, managing, and coaching team members to consistently achieve operational goals through reporting analysis, observations, and monitoring.
  • Develop and execute initiatives that maximize member retention, satisfaction, and loyalty to achieve department and company goals. 
  • Build and roll out call center workflows, proactively analyze and interpret data, and compile and monitor operational statistics and reports.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments and teams to ensure continuity of communication with employees and members regarding program components, pricing, and company policies.
  • Share new ideas and out-of-the-box thinking to improve member experience related to company KPIs. 
  • Use motivational strategies to drive metrics by recognizing strong performance.

What you’ll do:

Lead a Team of Clinicians

  • Provides overall leadership, motivation, and support of the clinician team - full-time, part-time and 1099 clinicians 
  • Directly manage Lead Physicians who are managers to a team of distributed, virtual clinicians 
  • Demonstrate care for our clinicians and their experience as providers; create a work environment that emphasizes collective team engagement aligned with Parsley values and provider core competencies

The opportunity:

We are hiring a Senior Copywriter to create engaging, on-brand, results-driven storytelling and copywriting that communicates, educates, and inspires our Parsley audiences. You’ll help refine our brand voice across our marketing channels and throughout the customer experience with conversion-driving copy. You will lead creating copy for marketing content that ranges from seasonal campaigns to emails, paid performance initiatives to landing pages, and everything in-between. Our ideal candidate is a storyteller who can think strategically and conceptually, and who’s comfortable working in a fast-paced, execution-oriented startup environment. You will sit on the Creative team and work closely with the Marketing team (Growth, CRM, Brand), Product and Clinical teams.

You are a conceptual and creative thinker who is a self-starter, and collaborative to the core. You think and write audience-first, and have a deep understanding of your audience’s point of view. You can easily pivot from writing emotional marketing copy to concise conversion-driving copy whenever needed. You’re a skilled writer who can articulate a complex brand mission, enhance a member’s experience, and support key business initiatives through inspired copywriting and smart content strategy. You recognize the power of language to establish an identity, elevate an experience, evoke a feeling, and motivate a consumer. You’re always looking for the story—to educate, inspire, or sell. 

What you’ll do:

  • Deeply understand our target audiences- who they are, what they do, why they do it and help craft the brand voice to ensure it is consistent and strong across every persona 
  • Understand and update our personas annually to ensure we’re reaching our target audience every time
  • Develop multiple paths of messaging to reach audiences across our three business channels (DTC Cash, DTC Payer, and B2B2C)
  • Understand the differences between the business channels and how to compel enrollment and engagement across all of them
  • Develop our voice throughout the customer journey and lifecycle by crafting compelling and conversion driving copy for digital experiences, including email, social, website, member communications and offline channels. 
  • Own copy creation for all marketing communications, brand campaigns, growth needs, and website assets.
  • Understand trends in the telehealth space and beyond. Take sensitive, highly personal, and subject matters and turn it into messaging that resonates with our audience
  • Collaborate with members of the marketing team to create copy for all channels and work with our growth team to understand performance of creative assets so we can constantly learn and improve
  • Synthesize complex pieces of information from science writing and data and effectively translate that into marketing, social media and ad copy
  • Tackle old problems in new ways–bringing fresh ideas on how to get a consumer to take a desired action.
  • Continually help to define processes to effectively deliver high-quality content in a fast-paced environment in a timely manner

What you’ll need:

  • 4+ years of copywriting experience primarily with digital brands, working at start-up or agency
  • Ability to reach beyond pure copywriting to develop content strategies, personas and brand voice guidelines
  • Ability to write to multiple audiences at the same time
  • Previous experience in the health and/or wellness space
  • Ability to translate brand guidelines into a consistent, ownable voice.
  • Ability to think conceptually and passion for branding, storytelling, and producing engaging content and campaigns
  • Comfort writing across a variety of digital channels with proven experience writing for performance channels including, email, landing pages, and paid ads
  • An understanding of how and when to write emotional consumer facing copy and also quick conversion driving copy
  • An interest in creating and refining process to make work more efficient and help improve processes across the team

The opportunity:

The Director, Clinical Services is a critical role for our company as we enter our scaling phase.  You will bring your passion for member care, ingenuity and impeccable management skills to lead the Clinical Services teams through rapid growth, scale and change. As a cross-functional leader and a representative of the clinical voice, you will collaborate with leaders across the company to implement clinical strategies that optimize the member experience, outcomes and always come back to patient safety. You will develop project management approaches to develop the team. This role is also responsible for developing, implementation a Care Management program to enable interdisciplinary direct and indirect patient care across the care continuum, with an emphasis on functional medicine, for a designated population (population health). This position requires accomplished experience in enterprise-level leadership and execution of projects and programs. This person will report directly to the SVP, Business & Clinical Operations.

What you’ll do:

Operational Excellence

This role supports the day-to-day operations of the Clinical Services Organization at Parsley Health by partnering with other key cross-functional leaders including Member Experience, Product, Data, the Medical Director and the Growth Team to enhance, operationalize and measure a highly-efficient care delivery model.

  • Clinical & Care Management Operations: Ensures coordination with cross-functional teams in support of daily clinical operations, vendor management and vendor services.
  • Responsible for service design to ensure coordination of care across the continuum and select, devise and oversee clinical operations, work methods, procedures, workflows and standards for quality and quantity of work.
  • Quality: Monitor and evaluate operations for compliance with RNs licensure and regulatory standards
  • Supports the development and deployment of scaling solutions, including management systems, performance improvement systems, operational standards, metrics, measurement processes and decision support systems.

Leadership/Strategy

Key operational lead for development and implementation of a strategic plan that supports the organization’s vision and goals of the Care Management & Clinical Coordinator teams; translates the strategic plan to staff to ensure support; modifies or adjusts the plan in response to changing internal and external factors.

  • Facilitates management of the projects, and the application of the tools, processes, etc. to enable design and deployment of cross-functional solutions.
  • Represent the clinical team as a leadership voice in cross-functional initiatives
  • Participates with the Leadership Team in setting policies and determining strategies to meet or exceed KPIs and OKRs in accordance with our Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
  • Represents the SVP, Business & Clinical Operations in meetings, as needed
  • Analyzes current and future trends and accurately assesses functional responsibilities, competitive strengths and vulnerabilities
  • Upholds, safeguards and promotes the organization’s values and philosophy relating to ethics, integrity, and corporate responsibility as referenced in organizational values and philosophy standards
  • Develops and implements a talent plan to ensure staffing mix, capacity and utilization to meet the strategic needs of the organization
  • Manages employee performance by establishing clear goals and expectations, tracking progress against goals, ensuring timely feedback and addressing performance problems and issues promptly

What you’ll need:

  • 5+ years of experience leading large teams during hyper growth periods
  • Active RN license
  • Demonstrated success managing enterprise projects
  • Highly quantitative, with understanding of statistical analysis
  • Proven leadership experience that includes: team building, motivating staff with enthusiasm and compassion, communicating skills across disciplines.
  • Strong, clear verbal and written communicator who can alter as needed between Engineering/Data, Vendor, and Executive / C-levels of style, detail and pacing
