Responsibilities

The Contract Art Director is responsible for the oversight of PDG’s project based creative team and their work ensuring that media and learning assets are of the highest quality and aligned with the client’s vision and key concepts for the project.  

This role is a project based contract. All work is paid on1099 or corp to corp. Work effort, duration and number of hours varies by project and customer.

The Art Director is responsible for:

  • Serving as the project manager for all people and resources within the creative and development workstreams
  • Consulting with client on visual concepts and leading team to execute on the vision
  • Reviewing all media before submission to the client, coaching and providing feedback to visual designers on their work to ensure that it complies with PDG quality standards
  • Act as the subject matter expert for creative assets
  • Manage communications related to visual design between the graphics team, the PDG project team, and the client
  • Delegate tasks to internal and contract resources to meet design objectives

Education and Professional Experience

The qualified Contract Art Director candidate has:

  • A professional degree in a relevant area

Requirements 

The eLearning Developer should have strong corporate eLearning knowledge and skills and will be asked to recreate the visual designs and layouts provided by a graphic designer and run with an overall look for a course. An Instructional Design background is a plus, but most importantly, a strong e-Learning developer that can handle custom actions and functionality in Articulate Storyline. This work will require significant collaboration with the client and their SMEs.

Typical Timeline:

  • Rapid turnaround project-based work - total project span averages 6-weeks
  • While a project is in production mode, up to ~20-40 hours of work per week over the span of 2-4 weeks 

Experience:

  • 5-10 years of high-end E-learning development experience, specifically Storyline based courseware
  • Flexible and able to work on fast paced projects
  • Available for client / team interactions and production while active on a project
  • Strong client facing skills

Role Summary

The Solution Architect is instrumental in how we scope, solution, design and deliver our award-winning business performance improvement solutions. The Solution Architect contributes to the success of PDG's solutions in three key areas:

  • Creating solution concepts for proposals and other sales pursuits, based on business need provided by the client during meetings with the Solution Architect and PDG’s Sales Team

Requirements

Education and Professional Experience

The Instructional Designer has:

  • A Bachelors in Instructional Design, Instructional Systems Design, English, Journalism, Business Administration, or other related discipline
  • 7+ years’ experience in instructional design, instructional technology, or training in a corporate setting. 
  • 5+ years’ experience working in a client-facing role
  • 3+ years’ experience working in a consulting environment
  • A strong understanding of Learning Experience Design (LxD)
  • A strong understanding of visual design, including strong PPT skills

General Knowledge and Skills

The Lead Instructional Designer can:

  • Articulate, discuss, and apply current instructional design processes theories, methodologies, and best practices
  • Develop design documents, storyboards, scripts, and assessment tools
  • Design for Articulate and Adobe Creative Suite, including Storyline 360 and Rise, Captivate, and other technology-based authoring tools with minimal support adhering to AICC and SCORM standards/specifications
