Enterprise Account Managers are key members of the Personify Enterprise team who manage the key accounts that generate significant revenue. They are responsible for establishing, nurturing, and expanding these valuable relationships. They research and pursue new business opportunities and create connections with influencers, executives, and decision-makers. They explore ways to expand existing accounts. These managers provide excellent service and support to ensure client satisfaction that leads to long-term expansion and retention. They often serve as a liaison between the client and other internal departments to expedite any assistance that may be needed.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Establish, nurture, and expand valuable relationships with existing large accounts and/or show organizers that have the potential to drive significant revenue
  • Lead account strategy and planning with the Personify extended team, driving strategy alignment with the customer via a documented process
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Personify’s Event solutions and services and consult clients with best practices utilizing their Personify Event solution
  • Pursue new business opportunities and create connections with influencers, executives, and decision-makers, calling at all levels within customer’s organization
  • Demonstrates breadth and depth of knowledge in aligning Personify’s capabilities to client business priorities, events cycle and positioning relative to competitors
  • Articulate and evangelize the vision and positioning of Personify solutions, assess upgrades and enhancements and secure long-term commitments
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure client’s success
  • Escalate member issues, when appropriate, and clearly communicate steps taken, future steps and member needs in ticket to ensure a smooth transition between internal teams
  • Identify opportunities to develop new training materials designed to ensure successful customer onboarding and support business-wide adoption
  • Conduct face-to-face and virtual meetings with key clients
  • Forecast business on a quarterly cadence, proficient in Salesforce to manage your pipeline of renewals and upsells
  • Meet and exceed quarterly sales targets and build a strong 12-month pipeline
  • Attend industry events to foster relationships with clients and potential clients
  • Other projects as assigned

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Five or more years of event industry experience
  • Five or more years of experience with sales or account management skill set
  • Strong aptitude to increase and maintain solid pipeline
  • In-depth knowledge of the event industry is preferred
  • Experience using Salesforce
  • Involvement in event industry organizations is a plus! (IAEE, PCMA, MPI, AMPS, ASAE, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Personify Events products or event floorplan software is a plus

General description of the position:


Directly related to client/project:

  • Build strong relationships with clients during their event cycle to understand their needs and establish the value of Personify.
  • Assess upgrades and enhancements to their current Personify solution set and offer them the value set that is best for their challenges and needs.
  • Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to ensure client’s success
  • Conduct face to face and virtual meetings with Key Clients
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Personify’s Event solutions and services
  • Consult clients with best practices utilizing their Personify Event solution
  • Maintain a strong renewal percentage with a key focus on upgrading and enhancing the Client’s solution set
  • Become proficient in Salesforce to manage your pipeline of renewals and upsells
  • Participate in recurring client outreach via phone calls, emails or other forms of communication
  • Attend industry events to foster relationships with clients and potential clients
  • Understand, learn, and utilize SPI sales methodology to showcase the value of Personify Events solutions.
  • Other projects as assigned.


Other:

  • Participate in weekly pipeline reviews to assess status of client’s solution set and work on acquiring new upsell leads from current client list
  • Participate in project kick-off calls with Project Managers and clients as needed
  • In office, part-telecommunication, or full telecommunication depending on candidate’s location.
  • Some travel is required (20 – 30%)

Administrative:

  • Maintain accurate records of all email and phone communication for every client for future reference.
  • Update client and potential client information in Salesforce and client database systems.


Preferred Background/Experience:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred


Experience:

  • Two or more years of experience with sales or account management skill set 
  • Strong aptitude to increase and maintain solid pipeline

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of the event industry is preferred
  • Experience using Salesforce is desirable
  • Involvement in event industry organizations is a plus! (IAEE, PCMA, MPI, AMPS, ASAE, etc.)

  • Conduct a large volume of outbound calls to prospects to research, communicate with, and qualify potential clients.
  • Capture accurate and complete information in the Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) by maintaining and expanding the database of prospects and tracking activity
  • Attend sales group meetings
  • Stay up to date with new products/services.
  • Support sales process and sales lifecycle as needed.
  • Initiate relationships and develop rapport with key executives and contacts at prospect companies by anticipating needs and understanding unique objectives.
  • Regularly synthesize multiple sources of information while making recommendations.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end Marketing and Sales process. Uses process management to aid in personal development, territory saturation, deal discussions, and monthly forecasts

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 1-3 years Inside Sales or other relevant marketing experience preferred. Experience cold calling is a plus
  • Professional phone presence and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
  • Extreme work ethic

  • Preferred SalesForce CRM experience
