Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Staff Accountant will provide entry-level administrative and financial support services. These services include general AP/AR, account reconciliations and general ledger accounting. The Staff Accountant will work closely with the Head of Finance to ensure the accurate and timely distribution of financial and managerial reports. The applicant should be detail-oriented, possess a high degree of accuracy and work well with other people. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer invoices 

  • Assist with supporting customer billing requests

  • Monitor Accounts Receivable/ collections

  • Process Accounts Payable invoices and W-9 verification for new vendors

  • Process weekly Accounts Payable check run and monitor when invoices are due

  • Vendor Management processing and reporting

  • Daily bank deposits and cash application

  • Reconcile monthly deposits weekly and during month end

  • Process reconcile payments and account balances during month end

  • Post journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts as needed

  • Process monthly bank reconciliations

  • Assist with financial statement review

  • Assist the Head of Finance with month-end closing process

  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. An Associates degree in Accounting may be considered with the right experience

  • 2 years professional experience in accounting and finance, experience with a SaaS or Marketplace company is a plus

  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles

  • Proficiency in Excel

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks or NetSuite

  • Strong, analytical, problem-solving aptitude with creative solutions 

  • Ability to organize work, with large amounts of information, efficiently

  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with strong attention to detail

Job Description

The Vendor Manager, Warehousing will be responsible for managing the day to day process between Postal Warehouse clients and our warehouse vendor(s). This individual will be a subject matter expert that will work with current clients to ensure that Postal meets their warehousing needs and requirements. They will work with our 3PL (Third Party Logistics) vendor network, and develop internal processes to ensure that Postal clients ship and store their items in the most efficient manner possible.

Responsibilities

  • Develop processes to ensure efficiency between Postal, our clients and our partners

  • Work with our clients to ensure that we have all the information necessary to effectively send their items to our warehouses

  • Become an expert in our internal platforms and our partner platforms

  • Enter client information into internal and partner platforms

  • Partner with go to market team on messaging and process

  • Subject matter expert (SME) on all things related to shipping, logistics and warehousing at Postal

    • Shipping carriers

    • Knowledge of the supply chain

    • Technical knowledge of how 3PL’s operate

    • Understanding of API integrations between platforms

    • Industry best practices

  • Understand nuances associates with shipping to specific countries

Qualifications

The VP, Marketplace Operations will be responsible for the growth and maintenance of the growing postal vendor network and marketplace. This role will report to the CEO. 

As the head of our go-to market and operations strategy for Postal's marketplace, you will be focused on:

Marketplace Operations.You will oversee all marketplace operations at Postal. In Postal's two-sided marketplace, this role will manage our supply side of a 100+ vendors that service the demand side of over 300 enterprise customers and 10,000 users... and growing. Your experience in working with GTM operations in the supply side of a successful marketplace model will be integral in managing Postal's Vendor Marketplace, Virtual Event Providers, Warehouse/Logistics Network, and our Concierge Vendor Network.        

Driving Gross Merchandising Value (GMV). Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to execute vendor attraction, onboarding, pricing/margin strategy, advertising, success, all focused on driving GMV in the business. You will ensure improvements in vendor NPS, GMV, revenue growth, order distribution, and technical/operational efficiencies.

Job Description

The Warehouse and Logistics Manager will be responsible for managing all Postal programs and processes associated with shipping and warehousing.  This individual will be a true subject matter expert with an entrepreneurial spirit.  They will manage our 3PL vendor network, and develop internal processes to ensure that Postal clients ship and store their items in the most efficient manner possible.

Postal is looking for an experienced Developer/Engineering Manager to lead our growing engineering teams as they design, implement, deploy and operate our offline marketing platform. You’ll be a key member of the engineering team and be the driver for the success of the applications your team creates.

Responsibilities

  • Directs the activities of a software systems development function, software applications development function, and a software quality assurance function for software enhancements and new products including cloud-based or internet-related tools

  • Oversee the analysis, design, delivery, and evolution of web application

The Director of Vendors will be responsible for the growth and maintenance of the growing postal vendor network and marketplace.  

As the Director of Vendors, you will be responsible for:

Managing the Vendor team - Overseeing all vendor related functions at Postal.  This includes the Vendor Marketplace, the Event Marketplace, the Warehouse/Logistics Network and the Concierge Vendor Network.

Postal.io is seeking an Employee Onboarding and Training Specialist who will focus on delivering an extraordinary employee experience, building employee relationships and cultivating company culture. You will be responsible for all new hire onboarding, including new hire documentation, creation and facilitation of orientation and overseeing the completion of compliance training.   • Gather and process digital forms such as background checks and employee documents

Job Description

Postal is looking for an experienced Dev Manager to lead our growing engineering teams as they design, implement, deploy and operate our offline marketing platform. You’ll be a key member of the engineering team and be the driver for the success of the applications your team creates.

Responsibilities

  • Directs the activities of a software systems development function, software applications development function, and a software quality assurance function for software enhancements and new products including cloud-based or internet-related tools

  • Oversee the analysis, design, delivery, and evolution of web application

  • Build DevOps and SRE capabilities for the system in production

  • Builds relationships with product managers, marketing, sales, and users to enable development teams to more effectively prioritize requirements and delivery efforts

  • Grow the organization through effective hiring, coaching and development of distributed team members 

  • Provide clear, consistent leadership, management and mentoring for direct reports and the broader technology organization

  • Inspire, empower and motivate the organization, leading by example

  • Interact with executives and/or major customers to establish and communicate a technical vision for our data capture platform

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership in driving and growing several agile software development teams across multiple engineering managers

  • Proven leadership scaling application development teams that are self organizing, loosely coupled, yet highly aligned

  • Technical experience with Web Applications, designing and consuming RESTful API’s for web applications, Google Cloud/AWS services, microservices and automated test frameworks

  • Ability to be hands on when needed and drive design and architectural decisions

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree; or a Master’s degree; or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum of 8+ years proven experience working as a software engineer and 2+ years of management experience

  • Experience leading software engineering teams building web applications and API’s

  • Experience mentoring the next generation of engineering leaders in an organization

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Description

Job Description

We are looking for a JavaScript developer who is proficient with React.js. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them utilizing React Hooks, React Context, GraphQL and REST API calls. You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.

Responsibilities

  • Developing new user-facing features using React.js

  • Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use

  • Writing UI integration, end-to-end, and unit tests

  • Optimizing components across devices and browsers

Qualifications

  • 2 years experience working with a Javascript framework, preferably React

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model

  • Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles

  • Experience with using Rest or GraphQL APIs in a Single-page Application

  • Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript

  • Proficiency with browser based debugging and performance testing

  • Experience with common front-end build tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM

In this role, you will be responsible for growing and improving our award-winning platform. This is an opportunity to be a key player in shaping the technical organization of the company by working on the backend stack of our platform including:

  • Backend Processes (Java)

  • NoSQL Database

Responsibilities

  • You will work with our sales team, customers, and technology staff to accurately interpret requirements, specifications, and models to develop front-end and/or backend code for the appropriate solution

  • Liaise with team members to keep updated documentation of process, workflows and user requirements.

  • Be the go-to person to recommend, design, develop, test, implement/automate, and support creative and optimal data solutions.

  • Communicate project status, issues, and accomplishments periodically to staff and users requesting reports.

  • Assist other employees in data integration tools, programs, and processes

  • Be excited to grow as a developer and as a person

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (CS or similar)

  • Java development experience

  • 2+ years of experience with enterprise software L2 support

  • Experience running a CI/CD pipeline

  • Web Technologies, REST APIs, XML, JSON knowledge required

  • Bonus points for Integration with CRM, Sales or Marketing Automation Systems

  • Experience collaborating to articulate technical issues and requirements to both vendors and internal technical teams

  • Process documentation and process improvement experience

  • Excellent problem-solving skills
