Job title: Senior Consulting Industry Recruiter
Discipline: Human Resources
Responsible for the global end-to-end recruitment of senior business development executives and operations staff. Must be able to tap into his/her own network or find innovative search methods to attract and source senior and proven consulting-industry experienced candidates, create a strong pipeline, screen, match and down select potential hires. Role will require management of candidate lifecycle, including working closely to senior company executives to develop candidate profile and needs by industry and role type and oversee the timely interview of presented employee potentials.
The Senior Recruiter will also be responsible for working with management to create staffing forecasts for upcoming operations engagements and developing a by-role pipeline for vacancies in the company’s master schedule.
Ensure compliance with all legal requirements as to fairness and equality of employment.
Recruit for all Business Development Account Executive positions, Project Directors, Project Managers, Department Managers and other Senior positions.
Develop a pipeline of Consultant recruits that will meet the requirements of the master schedule and operational management.
Ensure that all open requisitions are filled within 90 days.
Undertake other recruitment and HR activities as requested by the Human Resources Manager.
Recommend colleges and universities and cities in which to recruit.
Prepare job descriptions for job-board that clearly set out the job and its requirements.
Ensure online job descriptions are current and professional.
Follow the established recruitment process; screen resumes; phone screen; in person interview and make recommendation to hiring manager.
Ensure Hiring Manager has at least three qualified candidates from which to select.
Conduct reference checks for all new hires
Ensure application forms are properly filled out and fully completed.
Coordinate and conduct first interviews.
Make arrangements for second interview with the candidate and the hiring manager.
Inform candidates of progress regularly, professionally and on a timely basis.
Deal with all candidates courteously and fairly.
Ensure that remuneration expectations are in line with current practices.
Ensure appropriate sign-offs for recruitment with senior management.
Ensure all recruitment is on standard terms of employment with any variations approved by CEO.
Ensure that new hire start date is communicated to Human Resources Manager.
Produce a weekly Friday report on recruitment pipeline compliance.
Assist the HR department on sundry tasks, as required.
