What you bring

Key Responsibilities 

  • Respond, engage and qualify outbound leads and inquiries
  • Sourcing new sales prospects and reaching out to them to book appointments for Account Executives
  • Clearly communicating Remote's value propositions to prospects and learning about their needs to see if there’s a good fit
  • Providing support to Account Executive team as needed
  • Be responsible for educating and developing prospects leading to hand-off to sales teams
  • Create target prospects lists and penetrate key accounts

The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.

The position

The Position

In this role, you will manage a high-volume operational team that directly impacts how our customer’s employees are onboarded into Remote. Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Experience working as a UX content designer, UX writer, or UX content strategist on a product design team. It’s a plus if you’ve worked in a high-growth tech startup.
  • A portfolio of work that demonstrates your ability to simplify complexity, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and craft content that helps users get stuff done.
  • Experience with improving information architecture for complex software products.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders across disciplines and leverage data to impact product roadmaps and strategy.
  • Ability to write everything the user experience requires, including navigation items, button labels, tooltips, headlines, intro copy, error messages.
  • Ability to create measurable impact under minimal supervision.

The position

Design is at the forefront of everything we do. As a UX Researcher you will reveal what our users need from our products by conducting research, working with cross-functional teams, and performing usability studies. In this role, you will:

  • Design, coordinate, and source participants for user research projects.

  • As a Paralegal in the legal department, your will support our the entire legal team with ensuring that workload is properly triaged, allocated, delivered and driven to completion in the most effective manner. A key component of this role is to also manage internal stakeholders by tracking legal support ticket progress, completion and compliance with SLAs.

Key Responsibilities

Tickets are triaged directly to sub-teams when relevant.

  • Conduct preliminary ticket review, categorizing tickets per legal’s operational procedures and taxonomies, offering early guidance on self-help SOPs or material from the legal knowledge base where reasonable, while supporting knowledge capture and implementation.
  • Manage and track the progress of tasks once allocated, ensuring tasks are reallocated during absences or illness, monitoring SLA compliance, managing escalations based on set criteria, tracking tasks sent externally, and consistently reviewing and cleaning up ‘stale’ tasks.
  • Maintain internal stakeholder management by updating requestors on progress, providing certainty during times of low capacity or high volume, and educating requestors on Legal’s engagement model, self-service methods, prioritization, and escalation processes.
  • Provide ongoing reporting on workload and other key trends.
  • Offer ad hoc paralegal support, particularly to the Core team, and assist Legal Ops with operational improvements related to task intake and management.

What this job can offer you

This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global employment space in Employee Lifecycle Operations, by joining our Employee Lifecycle team.

As a Lifecycle Specialist (OHS), you will ensure that all activities related to the occupational health and safety of employees are performed effectively, compliantly, and on time across multiple countries supported by Remote. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and managing vendor partnerships, driving contract management processes, and be in charge of rolling out all events related to health and safety across the globe for Remote’s employees.

You will be reporting to Employee Lifecycle Manager.

What you bring

  • Significant work experience in a digital environment
  • Experience scouting, onboarding, and/or managing vendors and partners
  • Experience researching and implementing health and safety programs. Local certifications will be a plus
  • Ability to quickly engage and support external employees and vendors across multiple countries
  • Good analytical skills, ability to map processes
  • Team player who works independently and communicates proactively and positively
  • A growth and problem-solving mindset. You can shift tasks and priorities when circumstances change and do so quickly and effectively
  • Writes and speaks fluent English. Spanish or other additional language proficiency will be considered a plus
  • Previous experience in Occupational Health and Safety will be considered a plus
  • It is not required to have experience working remotely, but considered a plus

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive standard operating for Occupational Health and Safety within Remote’s Lifecycle Operations team to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all Remote employees.
  • Scout, engage and onboard new vendors, training partners, and health centers to carry out all necessary occupational health and safety events globally.
  • Fully responsible for organising and analysing vendor quotations, negotiations, and overall assessment.
  • Responsible for driving the overall objectives and goals of the Occupational Health and Safety team including cost effectiveness, service excellence, and compliance
  • Manage risk, track and analyse respective budgets to ensure that all procured services are within the budget estimates
  • Build strong partnerships with external vendors and manage their performance on a day-to-day basis through comprehensive assessments and feedback
  • Engage with Remote’s employees to resolve queries and support them with their health assessment and safety training needs
  • Lead country OHS audits to support Entity compliance with local regulations by collaborating with different stakeholders at Remote.
  • Identify and implement improvements to the Occupational Health and Safety procedures and practices.
  • Independently apply knowledge and processes to analyse and investigate incidents of Occupational health or safety challenges globally.
  • Work closely with Remote People team, Remote Legal team and external legal counsels and other relevant experts to draft and implement Health and Safety policies globally.
  • Be an internal and external champion of Remote's values and the Lifecycle team's goals.
  • Safely manage and maintain employee data and confidential information, adhering to established protocols, and ensuring utmost professionalism and discretion in handling and accessing such information

At first glance our salary bands seem quite wide - here is some context. At Remote we have international operations and a globally distributed workforce. We use geo ranges to consider geographic pay differentials as part of our global compensation strategy to remain competitive in various markets while we hiring globally.

The base salary range for this full-time position is between $23,350 to $52,550 USD. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.
