Your Mission:

You will play a crucial role in building and improving our lead distribution and processing application and the related microservices we’ve built from scratch over the last nearly 9 years. Our internal tech has been a critical factor in our growth and acceleration to become the number 1 solar lead generation company, and we will continue to double down on it.

Our app does heavy lifting for us, including real-time lead scoring and validation, along with price matching in a complex marketplace dynamic (among numerous other things I can’t list here). We’re constantly evolving to meet needs in a high-growth environment.

Our development process for new software is based on rapidly changing business objectives, quarterly project work, the needs for refactoring/rebuilding core technology, and responding to day to day technological issues that come up.

Your primary role initially will be building out new features and working on our existing microservices, as well as addressing bugs and other timely issues that come up. You must be extremely comfortable working on/maintaining/improving existing code, as we've built up quite a codebase over the years.     Your Mission:

    If you’re excited by building front-end user experiences and helping drive rapid product innovation in a data-driven company, this role could be for you.

    Your primary responsibility will be rapidly coding up the front-end of our product. Examples of internal product could include anything from reporting views that drive business decisions to user interfaces for our customers. External-facing product examples include our user funnel and UX, from first click to installed solar panels.

    The bulk of work (at least initially) will be on the front-end residential homeowner user experience. It also could include working on and improving our in-house ab-testing capabilities.

    Your Mission:

    If you’re excited by the prospect of accelerating the adoption rate of solar power through pay-per-click advertising, this is the role for you.

    You will be asked to develop, own, manage, and rapidly scale advertising campaigns which in some cases could be uncapped--as long as quality and margin metrics are achieved. This means you need to be proficient at every level of campaign management, from day one to managing an increasingly large monthly spend.

    You will, with the help of our team, build new campaigns from the ground up: determining campaign targeting using our internal algorithms for identifying key markets, as well as responding to timely shifts in market demand. You will also work to develop new ad copy and tests as well as improve the performance and conversion rate of our current funnel.

    Your Mission:

    If you’re excited by driving rapid product innovation in a data-driven company, and in an environment with enough user traffic to test new ideas weekly, this role could be for you.

    Your initial responsibility will be to bite off a crucial part of the value stream: delivery management. This will allow you to work directly with engineering and data to drive projects to completion, as well as give you hands-on experience in the fine detail of our technology infrastructure.

    We use a ‘holistic definition’ of product, which includes any user-facing value we create, whether for internal stakeholders or external customers. Examples of internal product could include anything from reporting views that drive business decisions to our proprietary lead-scoring & predictive analytics models. External-facing product examples include our user funnel and UX, from first click to installed solar panels.

    Once up to speed on delivery management, we'll expand into other areas as bandwidth & the pace of learning allow: product discovery, planning, Scrum management, and live product testing and management (including AB tests). Your assumption of new responsibilities here will be primarily constrained by the speed with which you can fully internalize our tech and internal processes.

    Ultimately your role will be to both help organize and relentlessly drive our product vision through to completion, project manage our product pipeline, run product and customer discovery to glean qualitative insights, manage product testing experiments, mine the data along with our data team looking for insights, and so on--all directed at moving the needle on key company KPIs.

    We're primary looking for a full-time tester however we're open to considering part-time (20h) per week with the right fit.

    Your Mission:

    If you’re excited about playing a critical role in our value stream by both clearing out our weekly QA testing queue as well as improving our QA testing process through automated testing, this role could be for you.

    On a weekly basis our product team builds features or improves on existing functionality that serves our customers, internal stakeholders, and homeowners who are trying to go solar. In other words, there is a wide variety of product pieces spanning the full stack that need to be tested and delivered each week.

    This role will be critical to keeping our delivery pipeline moving, and the primary goal will be to clear out our QA Testing queue by testing features and working with our developers, product team, and internal stakeholders to ship product features.

    You will be supported by and work with our development and product teams.
