Your Role:

Tenable is currently seeking an Associate Security Sales Engineer to support product demos and evaluations of small and medium sized sales opportunities. The Associate Security Sales Engineer is responsible for identifying and matching technology opportunities with the customer’s business issues and objectives. Assist in developing business value propositions around Tenable products and solutions. Drives sales with technical expertise, account management skills, sales ability, and a superior customer focus.

What You'll Need:

  • Prior experience working in a security related technical pre-sales role
  • Understanding how to craft a custom demo vs delivering a canned demo
  • Skill and confidence in leading discussions from a deep technical level to the executive level
  • A strong self-starter attitude and determination to win
  • Solid teamwork skills, teamwork is everything at Tenable
  • Solid Interpersonal “smarts”
  • Willingness to travel where and when needed within your territory, typically around 10% on average

And Ideally:

  • Experience with Nessus and/or other network security technologies
  • Solid foundational knowledge of TCP/IP and network security concepts
  • Experience with Enterprise class operating systems at the security admin level
  • Demonstrable experience with modern compute infrastructures such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
  • Docker and DevOps knowledge, API scripting, Python SDK would be a ++
  • Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., PCI, NIST, FISMA, SOX, NERC)
  • BS in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience (i.e. 4+ years of direct SE experience)
  • CISSP, GIAC, CEH, Security+ or other security-related certifications

Your Role:

The Channel Account Manager (CAM) is responsible for establishing and managing relationships with regional Channel Partners with end to end responsibility for ensuring they drive sales, support our customers and work in alignment with our sales team.  Tenable is a 100% channel driven company.

Your Opportunity:

  • Define strategy and its execution for Channel Partners
  • Deliver channel revenues as per organisational goals
  • Manage entire ecosystem within the defined region including Resellers, Strategic partners and Distributors
  • Recruit new strategic partners where appropriate
  • Serve as the partner's main point of contact as it relates to activity centric to the named Channel partners assigned to the region
  • Create and present quarterly and ad-hoc reviews to the Vice President of Sales, APJ as well as to all levels of internal management
  • Oversee the negotiations of legal agreements as they relate to named partner recruitment and management
  • Create and deliver accurate quarterly and annual forecasts and strategic plans
  • Develop engagement plans with named Channel Partners and Tenable’s Sales Teams including regular cadence and qbrs where appropriate
  • Drive Channel Partners sales and technical certification
  • In conjunction with the marketing team, develop and assist with the execution of lead generation campaigns for the purpose of pipeline development
  • Manage partners within Tenable’s Partner Programme
  • Provide input to marketing and/or program managers regarding additions or changes needed to our partner tools, on-line interfaces, or similar

What You'll Need:

  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience managing channel partners in relation to technology sales
  • Understanding of the Greater China market is critical
  • Experience working with distribution
  • Experience working with both national and regional Channel Partners
  • Documented track record of success
  • College Degree strongly preferred
  • Experience and comfort level working with C-level executives
  • Familiarity with the network security marketplace and relevant entities strongly preferred

Your Role:
The Professional Services Account Manager is an Account Team overlay role responsible for identifying, investigating and defining professional service proposals and scopes of work for Tenable prospects and clients.  The SAM is responsible for interpreting services engagement needs and creating the contractual documentation required to deliver client success both from a presales and post-sales perspective.
In addition to supporting the sales account team and sales initiatives, the SAM is accountable for ensuring their engagements are delivered per the scope of work and is accountable for client success.  This requires the SAM to actively partner with the Service Delivery and Resource Management teams to ensure the established scope of work and timeline committed to the client are achieved.  

Your Opportunity:

  • Meet or exceed annual and quarterly service sales bookings targets
  • Independently articulate the benefits of implementing all Tenable solutions
  • Identify and develop service opportunities and supporting business cases
  • Collect client business requirements and exposure management objectives in order to define service proposals
  • Map Tenable services and Tenable solutions to achieve client objectives
  • Craft Proposals, Statements of Work and Change Orders and collaborate with Sales, Legal, Operations and other Tenable functions to negotiate Master Service Agreements and secure customer Purchase Orders to contract the negotiated services business
  • Collaborate with the sales account teams to develop an actionable and measurable territory plan to achieve annual bookings goals
  • Enable Sales Territory Managers, Sale Engineers and Customer Success Managers in the capabilities, offerings and articulating the value driven by Professional Services
  • In partnership with Customer Success, act as a key point of contact for Customer executives, developing deep, trustful relationships to drive services expansion and cross-selling within the account
  • Collaborate with Delivery and Partner Managers to determine the best resources (Internal or Partner) to deliver the project scope
  • Business planning and forecasting: The ability to accurately forecast and anticipate any changes in booking numbers and composition of new business to support RMO and Delivery planning and execution
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time

 What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT related field or related work experience
  • 8+ years IT and/or Cyber Security experience
  • 5+ years in sales or services-related role
  • 3+ years of experience selling professional services preferable
  • Record of achieving and or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience developing commercial and technical services documentation including client presentations, proposals and executable commercial paperwork
  • Familiarity with information security models and best practices including industry compliance
  • Knowledge of enterprise network security technologies and cutting-edge network infrastructures
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture as well as on-premise IT landscape
  • Ability to have management and executive-level discussions about how to successfully deploy
  • Comfortable and willing to be a hands-on contributor
  • Excellent communication skills, including issue tracking, triaging and escalation management
  • Willing and able to travel to client sites up to 50% both within and outside of assigned territory
