It is a key member of the IT Security Team, playing an integral role in defining and assessing the organisation’s security strategy, architecture, and practices.  It requires the ability to understand diverse business environments and risks in order to drive the implementation of technical solutions and technologies in support of security initiatives.

        Reporting to the Head of IT Security & Governance - Information Technology, some of your other responsibilities will be:

        Regarded as an internal senior trusted advisor providing security consulting services across multiple project teams, and other IT leaders, to provide advice on security

        • Identify and develop improvements to procedures and processes to satisfy security architecture requirements and streamline operations
        • Understand business requirements and apply security without adversely affecting the desired functionality
        • Plan future business growth needs and determines impacts and risks to the security architecture
        • Understand, balance and communicate the business risk and potential security risk to Management &
        • Perform validation of security controls to insure adherence with compliance and industry best practices

        Qualifications

        Qualifications/Experience Required

        Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline (Master’s preferred) or equivalent work experience in IT and/or Information Security/Cyber Security along with relevant architecture and/or risk certification(s) (e.g., SABSA, COBIT, CRISC, etc)

        Cloud security or certification(s) are required (e.g., AWS SAP, Azure SAE, Google PCSA, etc)

        Competence in on-premises security or certification(s) are appealing (e.g., RHCA, VCDX, etc)

        Competence in ICS security or certification(s) is appealing (e.g., GICSP, CSSA, etc)

        Competence in SCADA/OT security is highly regarded

        In addition:

        15+ years’ experience in information security, architecture, and risk management. Prefer experience performing assessments of and designing/building security architecture in a client-facing/consulting role

        10+ years of experience in the following areas: cloud computing, cryptography, web & mobile applications, web application firewall, IoT security, software development, threat modelling

        5+ years management experience

        Extensive knowledge and experience in designing, implementing IT Security architecture and technologies, IAM, and information protection in legacy & modern workplaces including complex commercial environments

        Experience in leading and defining improvements in information security management & frameworks

        Experience in endpoint security, threat modelling and security analytics

        Working experience in large enterprise and/or critical infrastructure environments

        Working knowledge of risk and security frameworks, standards, and regulation (e.g., ISO, NIST, ASD, PCI DSS, and privacy)

        Ability to think holistically and identify areas of technical and non-technical risk assessment and remediation

        • Minimum 8 years of experience; working across multiple organisations and industries to gain a variety of experiences and knowledge.
        • Understand the processes and complexities of Supply Chain Management systems
        • System analysis activities on complex Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products
        • Industry recognised certification as an Architecture practitioner (TOGAF)
        • Experience in Supply Chain Architecture across traditional and cloud platforms

        Job Description

        • Managing the relevant ESG aspects of bid development and the tenders process to help drive business growth

        • Consistently record and update all bid and questionnaire information to ensure it is documented and saved for easy access by other users.

        Qualifications

        Ideally, you are degree qualified, in Finance or Legal or Environmental Sustainability and your experience thus far is appropriate to fulfil the position requirements. Current C class driver’s licence is required. In addition:

        • Excellent analytical, project management and organizational skills.
        • Attention to detail, analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex policies and regulatory documents.
