      Job Description

      Client Management

Engagement managers build positive client relationships during projects. They assess the clients’ needs, identify customer requirements, and develop cohesive projects that improve the operations of a business through more efficient procedures and systems. This job involves analyzing business data to assess situations, assigning tasks to team members, and problem-solving when issues arise. Engagement managers are strong communicators who are comfortable working with different teams at various levels of a business and have excellent organization skills.

      Manage Projects

A key aspect of an engagement manager’s role is to boost morale and build productivity within teams for better and more efficient execution of tasks and projects. Engagement managers lead on many different projects to ensure cohesion between project teams and to make sure that projects meet the initial brief from the client. Often, they conduct meetings with employees and clients to find solutions to problems and strengthen partnerships.

      Analyze Business Data

To gain a clear overview of the company’s status, engagement managers analyze financial data, such as revenue, expenditures, and project budgets.  From this data, they can create and implement an project plan once they’ve gained the client’s agreement for each initiative within the project.

      Prepare Reports on Project Performance

Engagement managers track the progress of each project and work to manage the resources and timescale for each one, including the teams working on them. They prepare reports on these projects to identify achievements and goals met as well as to highlight any areas for improvement going forward.

      Identify Upselling Opportunities

Engagement managers identify new concepts for products and find ways to upsell or cross-sell to increase revenue and build brand awareness. They also recommend new systems and procedures to amplify productivity, which may include organizational changes to make these processes more efficient.

      Qualifications

Engagement managers should be strong communicators, both written and verbal, with great leadership skills and the ability to multitask. Typically, employers require a bachelor’s degree in a business or industry-related subject, previous project management or sales experience, and the following abilities:

      • Management skills – engagement managers develop and manage relations between teams at multiple levels of a company, so they need excellent management and communication skills
      • Organization skills – engagement managers need to multitask and organize both their time and the schedule of the project, as they often work on various projects and with multiple people at once. Strong organization skills are a must to ensure that all tasks are completed to the appropriate deadline
      • Customer-oriented approach – companies depend on excellent business-to-customer relationships to succeed and build revenue, so engagement managers must keep the customer at the forefront of their mind when developing plans and identifying opportunities to win new clients
      • Business acumen – engagement managers need a keen understanding of what to do in any business situation, as each project will have unforeseen circumstances or challenges that are unique to that industry. This requires adjusting and knowing what options are available to implement the appropriate plan changes
      • Problem-solving skills – as issues arise between teams or within the project, engagement managers must find solutions and liaise with team members to quickly mitigate these challenges, so they don’t affect project outcomes

      Engagement Manager Education and Training

      Company Description

Tricentis is the global leader in enterprise continuous testing, widely credited for reinventing software testing for DevOps, cloud, and enterprise applications. The Tricentis AI-based, continuous testing platform provides a new and fundamentally different way to perform software testing. An approach that’s totally automated, fully codeless, and intelligently driven by AI. It addresses both agile development and complex enterprise apps, enabling enterprises to accelerate their digital transformation by dramatically increasing software release speed, reducing costs, and improving software quality.

Founded in 2007, Tricentis has been widely recognized as the leader in enterprise test automation by all major industry analysts, including Forrester, IDC, and Gartner’s Magic Quadrant five years in a row. Tricentis has more than 1,800 customers, including the largest brands in the world, such as McKesson, Accenture, Nationwide Insurance, Allianz, Telstra, Moët Hennessy-Louis Vuitton (LVMH PCIS), T-Mobile, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, Dell, IHG, RBS, Cisco, and Vodafone.

Tricentis has global offices throughout AMS / EMEA / APAC, including Austria, Australia, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Poland, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, and the USA.

      Job Description

      The Opportunity:

We’re looking for a Lead Product Manager to join the product team building Tricentis’ cloud platform and SaaS products. Tricentis makes tools that help people make better software through testing. We’re a top choice among professional software tester and all three of the major analyst firms call us a Test Automation leader.

We are building the testing suite of the future as a SaaS, cloud-delivered product. There’s several different types of software testing, different use cases, and unique testing needs of different user personas. We’re bringing all this testing together in one integrated product suite.

      What You’ll Do:

You’ll have primary responsibility for executing a product for one of the personas or testing methods. You’ll support a product development team consisting of designers, developers, testers, and product managers to drive the product forward. You’ll define strategies that align with our overall product vision. You’ll work with the other product management leads to ensure we’re all building a single cohesive product suite. As the lead product manager, you’ll mentor and guide your team’s product managers.

A product manager here isn’t the decider of what gets done. Instead, you’re the keeper of the product vision, strategy, and customer problems that need solving. You’ll bring context and data about each customer problem that will help the whole product team find the best path toward delivering customer value. You’ll make sure the team grounds their work in the product strategy.

You’ll think big, but execute small. Instead of working on one big thing, we try lots of smaller “bets” to learn what our customers need. You’ll help define the bets, determine how to measure the outcomes of each experiment, and use those measurements to guide the next set of bets.

You’ll be the primary connector between the product team and the rest of the company. You’ll need to communicate product progress, plans, and changes to other parts of the organization. You’ll work with sales and marketing to define a go-to-market plan for new capabilities. You’ll make sure customer success and professional services each know how to support and use the new things as we build them. You’ll work with other Tricentis products to identify integration and collaboration points.

You’ll drive profitability by ensuring the product has sound unit economics. You’ll track our customer acquisition costs, cost of goods, and churn to make sure we’re building a product that can turn a profit.

You’ll be reporting to the head of cloud products. You can learn what it’s like to work with him at https://github.com/akalsey/ManagerReadme

      Qualifications

      Who You Are:

This is a role for a product leader that can own a strategy, grow the team’s product management capabilities, and manage all aspects of a complex product. You might have been a product leader elsewhere or be ready to step into that role. You’ll have the support of Tricentis’ other strong product leaders. You view product managers as servants of the product development team instead of being in charge of the product.

You should have a strong background in using data to inform your decisions. You have experience with customer research, running product experiments, and techniques like A/B testing. You know how to help a team use these to define and track product and customer outcomes.

You have deep experience in agile product creation and can coach others in the same. You love iteration and would prefer to ship and adjust 15 times a day instead of spending 15 days getting one thing right. You abhor inventories of planned work. You look to continuously improve the process to deliver customer value faster than you did last time.

You’ve worked on products that don’t use timeline roadmaps. You understand how to communicate non-timeline plans to customers and internal stakeholders. You have experience with shipping an iterative product.

You have experience with shipping a SaaS business to business product to large enterprise customers. Ideally you have created products for developers or have been a developer yourself.

You are an excellent communicator in English. You communicate well with highly technical people both inside and outside the company. You are skilled at connecting with and collaborating with other product teams in a larger company.

You have an uncanny ability to get things done. You find ways around, over, or through obstacles. You maintain a focus on the product’s vision and strategy and drive the team toward that direction.

      Where you are:

This is a remote position, ideally on the east coast of the US or Canada or in eastern time. You’ll be working daily with product managers and developers across the US and Central Europe.

      Additional Information

Why You’ll Love Working at Tricentis:

The Tricentis Flood team carescare a lot about user experience, building great products, and work-life balance. We’re fully remotefully-remote and have been for a long time. We love that it lets us set our own schedules. Some people need time to deal with children and school, others are night-owls, and everyone needs to run errands. As long as we’re delivering results, we aren’t tracking how everyone spends their day.

        Job Description

We are looking for multiple Software Engineers to help us build the next generation of testing, and developer tools. There are exciting roles across the whole tech stack, and at all levels of experience. We offer:

        • Remote work done well. We are fully remote by choice, and have a culture that’s highly collaborative, and respectful of your time.

As a team, we come together for coordination and planning, but you will be in charge of your day-to-day schedule. Being remote, we value asynchronous working, and use the most appropriate form of communication depending on the need. Meetings are by exception, not by default.

        Qualifications

        You will need to:
