As QA Engineer, you will be working directly with our CTO and product & engineering team to help build a modern, high performing, customer & supplier applications for YardLink. You will:
Requirements:
You are an experienced QA Engineer who doesn’t mind getting your hands dirty but understands the benefits of sharing the Quality ownership with the whole team.
You’ll help coach the team to focus on quality, support the adoption of test automation, and help us fail fast and often the right way.
You’ll get involved in the development cycle from early on and connect with stakeholders to ensure our requirements are data driven, user focused and brings us forward.
You have the confidence to challenge and help validate assumptions, creating shorter lead times and an increase in successful deployments.
You will need to be comfortable with both automated and manual testing approaches and have the ability to adapt to different situations.

About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Ruby on Rails developer to join the team and help us disrupt the construction rental industry. Now 3 years into building our platform, 2021 is a year of growth for us.
You will help extend and evolve our Ruby on Rails platform which powers the business, not only working with key integrations with third party services, but also take our tech stack to the next level, moving towards a combination of Ruby APIs & React web/mobile apps for customers and suppliers to interact with.
You would be working alongside the engineering team, Product Lead and CEO to develop the web and mobile digital platforms for the company. We all have proven experience developing successful businesses and are looking forward to adding your experience and ideas to the mix. It’s an exciting time for the company as we still have a small team. You will get a say in decisions with a key role, joining at the early stages of scaling the team.
This role is targeted as a senior level role. However you feel you are more mid-level, please still get in touch.

Remote working
Formerly solely London based, the team is now fully remote. For team members who want an office for some of the week, we have access to the Desana.io network of pay-as-you-go workspaces.
