Zantech is looking for an upcoming Program Manager to serve as the Government’s point of contact and to provide technical supervision and guidance for all Contractor personnel assigned for an upcoming contract. This will be an opportunity to own your program, be the primary interface with customer and have the authority to act on behalf of Zantech, with corporate support. You will lead and execute the planning, management and risk assessment of the full range of activities/responsibilities as it pertains to your program. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to lead, build and grow an effective team to meet/exceed the values of Zantech and our clients. This person will need to be local to Fort Belvoir, but have the ability and prior experience working and managing a remote workforce.

As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for the contract deliverable requirements and the performance of the contract duties to the Government. This person must clearly show proficiency in technical areas of the contract, provides guidance, plan operations of the contract staff to accomplish the mission. They will works directly with customers and COR and oversee the entire requirement and translate these to technical directions for the team.

Required Experience:

  • Experience providing oversight of large, multi-functional project teams, preferably in a systems development environment, and planning and managing complex tasks sometimes under tight budget and time constraints.
  • Possess an in-depth working knowledge in system life cycle development; strong management and leadership, written and oral communications skills; experience in Government acquisition; familiarity with industry best practices; and Government contract and subcontract management.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, formal education, and/or extensive experience with major software implementations.
  • Ensures the efficient, effective, and economical level of contract support is provided to the government
  • Provides oversight of staff and support activities; maintains contract costs;
  • Work with corporate team to retain the most qualified team for the program
  • Manage overall contract performance to include providing subcontract management, overseeing invoicing, contract change proposals; and understands the needs and customer expectations to ensure customer satisfaction.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of configuration management and quality assurance concepts and guidelines for example, AGILE, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), and Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), and Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)
  • Knowledge of overall DoD contracts administration.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Presentation and meeting facilitation experience
  • Proactive mentality
  • Masters Degree in Technology related field
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Formal Army Staff Leadership Education

Required Security Clearance:

  • US Citizenship and an active DoD Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility per contract requirements.
