  • Coordinating payroll data for field staff, submitting to Assistant Operations Manager on a monthly basis and dealing with any payroll queries in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring all clinical governance issues raised by deployed personnel are reported immediately to the relevant Regional Medical Director

 

Qualifications

  • Qualifications & Experience:
    • High school, or higher education qualifications
    • Previous experience in a similar role, dealing with international personnel logistics, travel experience or similar roles
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to work on own initiative.
    • Resourceful with strong problem-solving skills
    • Effective time management skills and ability to efficiently manage own workload.

The Role

The Intern Accountant position will be part of the GL Accounting team which belongs to the Accounting family within the Finance department. The general ledger team within GitLab is responsible for managing and maintaining the company's financial records and accounts that are GAAP compliant.   1. Recording Transactions: The team is responsible for recording all financial transactions, including sales, purchases, expenses, and revenues, in the general ledger accounts.

Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) are responsible for keeping all user-facing services and other GitLab production systems running smoothly. The Observability Team's mission is to Build, Run and Own the entire lifecycle of the suite of services that enable observability of the GitLab SaaS environments. This also extends from metrics gathering and telemetry to how that information is used by the Infrastructure and Development teams. 

As an SRE you will:

  • Build: Automating as much as possible. Tasks should not be manual. Our Observability stack needs to be extended to support our growth and we need engineers to focus on how to build sustainably. 
  • Maintain: Our metrics environment as well as the tools and processes we have developed to provide this information throughout the company.  
  • Plan: Develop monitoring and alerting systems that predict capacity needs based on the customer usage patterns. Plan for new service rollouts, expansion of existing services and preparing advice for customers to optimize their resource consumption.  
  • Respond: There is a requirement to be part of an on-call rota in this role.
  • Partner: Act as Subject Matter Experts for metrics gathering, observability guidelines, and capacity planning. 
  • Collaborate: Work with other engineering stakeholders on resolving larger architectural bottlenecks and participate by offering a large scale operational point of view. Work in close collaboration with software development teams.

You may be a fit to this role if you:

  • Have experience with Infrastructure as a Code technologies, and libraries powering GitLab.
  • Have experience with Grafana’s LGTM stack, or Elastic’s stack (ELK)

Job Description

The Early Childhood portfolio has an opening for a full-time Administrative Manager, reporting to the Project Coordinator for the Institute for Home Visiting Workforce Development and Jackie Walorski Center for Evidence-Based Case Management. This position is open to US-based telecommuters.

The Institute for Home Visiting Workforce Development builds the capacity of home visiting programs to expand, support, and retain a diverse, highly qualified workforce. The project will focus on key activities include analyzing workforce trends, identifying effective strategies to support home visitors, and providing technical assistance to promote programs’ use of these strategies. Housed within the Institute, the Jackie Walorski Center for Evidence-Based Case Management will advance the use of effective, strengths-based home visiting case management practices in home visiting. The Center team will identify, evaluate, and widely disseminate evidence-based case management best practices that achieve positive health and well-being outcomes for families. 

You will:

  • Manage all aspects of in-person and virtual meetings (external and internal), and other events involving the Institute and Center including scheduling, preparation of documentation, note-taking, and follow-up
  • Manage travel and participation of project staff, partners, and stakeholders for in-person meetings and conferences
  • Maintain calendars for the project to optimize time and facilitate the exchange of information, providing appropriate reminders to the team
  • Collaborate with the team to optimize processes to ensure efficient work including but not limited to invoice processes, staff onboarding, product development, etc
