Cloudflare protects and accelerates any Internet application online without adding hardware, installing software, or changing a line of code. Internet properties powered by Cloudflare all have web traffic routed through its intelligent global network, which gets smarter with every request. As a result, they see significant improvement in performance and a decrease in spam and other attacks. Cloudflare was named to Entrepreneur Magazine’s Top Company Cultures list and ranked among the World’s Most Innovative Companies by Fast Company.

We realize people do not fit into neat boxes. We are looking for curious and empathetic individuals who are committed to developing themselves and learning new skills, and we are ready to help you do that. We cannot complete our mission without building a diverse and inclusive team. We hire the best people based on an evaluation of their potential and support them throughout their time at Cloudflare. Come join us!

*This is a work-from-home role, but you should reside in/will be expected to work from anywhere in Tennessee

What you'll do

Cloudflare is looking for highly motivated Enterprise Account Executives seeking a role with the opportunity to help build a GTM working with some of the largest companies in North America. This position will manage a focused set of ~20-30 accounts with $1B -$25B in annual revenues. The Enterprise Account team will shape and lead Cloudflare’s Go To Market.

We will leverage the strength of all Cloudflare functions to become a strategic partner to our customers and their digital transformation efforts. Our product and services and our methods of engagement will differentiate and delight our customers.

The AE will interact with both C-level clients and senior technical decision makers, utilizing Cloudflare solutions and resources to drive a business partnership focused on joint success with our customers.  Success requires consultative, solutions-oriented sales, and customer service skills in addition to intense personal energy and focused activity. A critical factor of achievement in this role is the ability and desire to focus and lead an internal group of constituents to bring their skillset to bear to build solutions and exponentially grow revenue. The AE must be expert in identifying business opportunities with customers, developing Enterprise Account Plans, driving execution across functional stakeholders, and closing revenue. The Enterprise Account Executive should be comfortable engaging in business level outcome conversations with the C-suite, presenting Cloudflare’s vision and plan for value creation to all levels, and negotiating win-win scenarios for all parties. The AE will be accountable to obtaining new business and expansion of Cloudflare wallet-share within existing customers. The role involves handling multiple accounts and will require high degrees of attention to detail and coordination with customers, partners, and internal resources. Lastly, the AE should thrive in an entrepreneurial environment where initiative is celebrated and enthusiasm for the possible is expected.

Be Successful – Success comes from hitting your goals on a consistent basis. Have a plan for “how” you’ll hit your goals and evaluate often; that way you always know where you stand. Be in a position and ready to demonstrate your plan for success.

Forecasting, SFDC Disciplines, Pipeline Management, Account Engagement, Negotiation, Closing, and Depth of Cloudflare Knowledge are the basic skills that make a Strategic Account Executive successful.

Make Bold Decisions - Operating with the largest companies in the world is a “game of inches”. Often the Enterprise Account Executive will have to make strategic decisions on engagement, terms, and support. These decisions should be made by the AE who is closest to the issue and most affected by it. Top down management of accounts is outdated because of the speed of today’s business. If execution presents risk, Seek the advice of leaders when and where you need it.

Teammate - We are all individually accountable to our goals, but we operate as a team. No one person has all the answers, but collectively the knowledge, experience, and acumen of the team is deep. Be the person who actively seeks to assist the team, shares knowledge, and extends your personal network. We are successful when we are all overachieving as a group.

ThousandEyes is hiring a Remote Senior Product Manager, Home & Broadband

Who We Are

The name ThousandEyes was born from two big ideas: the power to see things not ordinarily possible and the ability to collect insights from a multitude of vantage points. As organizations rely more on cloud services and the Internet, the network has become a “black box” outside of their control. ThousandEyes gives organizations visibility and insight into the now borderless network. It arms them with an accurate understanding of how the network impacts their applications, users and customers. ThousandEyes is used by some of the world’s largest and fastest growing brands, including all of the top 5 global software companies, 5 of the top 6 US banks, and 45 of the Fortune 500.

ThousandEyes’ pioneered Cloud and Internet Intelligence and is widely known as the ‘Google Maps of the Internet.’ Today, ThousandEyes is central to the global operations of the world’s largest and fastest-growing brands. The company was acquired by Cisco in August 2020, chartered with continuing to drive leadership in empowering organizations to see, understand, and improve digital experiences everywhere.

About The Team

The rise of as-a-service models has given birth to unknown dependencies that create blind spots for enterprise teams. Our product management team focuses on ingesting, visualizing, and correlating network flow traffic with our existing market-leading synthetics dataset. Our team helps customers solve problems that originate within the network infrastructure they own.

About The Role

Last year, ThousandEyes acquired SamKnows, and, in an era where connectivity is paramount, the acquisition of SamKnows marks a significant step forward in our mission to enhance network visibility and performance, particularly in the critical last-mile segment and within consumer homes. This integration empowers Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and consumers with insightful data to identify connectivity and application issues, whether they originate in the home or beyond.

We are looking for a visionary Senior Product Manager to spearhead this transformative integration. Your role will be pivotal in developing innovative solutions that provide real-time insights into network performance in the last mile and consumer environments. This position demands a blend of business acumen, technical expertise in network software, a deep understanding of ISP infrastructure, and a consumer-centric approach to problem-solving.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the development and launch of cutting-edge solutions that enhance network visibility in the last mile and within the home.
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams from both SamKnows and ThousandEyes to ensure seamless integration of technologies and expertise.
  • Engage directly with ISPs and consumers to thoroughly understand their connectivity challenges and tailor solutions to address these issues effectively.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and position our products strategically.
  • Define a clear and ambitious product vision and roadmap, focusing on innovation, usability, and impact in network performance monitoring.
  • Facilitate cross-functional team collaboration, ensuring alignment with the product goals and adherence to development timelines.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to craft compelling narratives and tools that resonate with our target audiences, driving successful product adoption and market penetration.

Required Skills

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in product management, with a significant focus on network performance software and ISP services.
  • Experience in enterprise/SaaS software products
  • Prior experience in a startup or dynamic technology environment, particularly involving network monitoring or management software solutions.
  • Deep knowledge of network performance metrics, diagnostic tools, and software applications relevant to ISP infrastructure and home networking.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into consumer-friendly solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, capable of leading diverse teams and engaging effectively with various stakeholders.
  • A self-starter attitude fueled by passion and energy, with the capability to drive innovation and lead change in a fast-paced industry.

Cisco values the perspectives and skills that emerge from employees with diverse backgrounds. That's why Cisco is expanding the boundaries of discovering top talent by not only focusing on candidates with educational degrees and experience but also placing more emphasis on unlocking potential. We believe that everyone has something to offer and that diverse teams are better equipped to solve problems, innovate, and create a positive impact.

We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification. Research shows that people from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy. We urge you not to prematurely exclude yourself and to apply if you're interested in this work.

Cisco is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, genetic information, age, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected basis. Cisco will consider for employment, on a case by case basis, qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.

As a result, they see significant improvement in performance and a decrease in spam and other attacks.

Available Location: Phoenix, AZ

Enterprise Account Team Core Values:

Be Successful – Success comes from hitting your goals on a consistent basis. Have a plan for “how” you’ll hit your goals and evaluate often; that way you always know where you stand. Be in a position and ready to demonstrate your plan for success.

Provide Customers with a Premium Business Experience - Solutions, Empathy, Proactiveness, Anticipation of needs, Company Support, Creativity, and Urgency to Deliver Value are core principles of a Cloudflare Strategic Account Experience. Give your customers a level of service that is unmatched in the industry.

Be Brilliant in the Basics - The hallmark of a high performance team is their willingness to commit to Brilliance in the Basics in all aspects of their roles.
