We have an exciting opportunity to join our Americas Marketing Team as a Senior Marketing Manager. Expertly leading on Planning B2C for the Americas region, this role will be responsible for the Researcher Regional Marketing team, developing and implementing marketing strategies for the Americas region. They are expected to identify customer needs in this region and ensure marketing and customer engagement strategies support growth, working in close partnership with specialist marketing teams. They lead the Regional Marketing Manager campaign planners to ensure campaign briefs delivered to the specialist marketing functions clearly articulate outcomes and business drivers to support development and growth in their region. 

What you will be doing: 

  • Lead a team of Regional Marketing Managers to define and implement region-specific marketing plans for B2C Researcher audiences in the Americas.
  • Align marketing activities to achieve journal article submissions and revenue targets within the region.  
  • Build out meaningful OKRs with quarterly objectives and monitor progress toward achieving key results. 
  • Support Regional Marketing Managers to develop campaign strategies, including testing, for digital marketing and CRM teams who then execute and optimize campaigns.
  • Track and monitor marketing campaign performance using insights from the performance team, thinking in an agile way to pivot and change plans accordingly. 
  • Prepare and present regional reports for quarterly update meetings. 
  • Develop and support the team in the implementation of the regional marketing strategy to drive growth for the specific segment of focus. 
  • Ensure go-to-market strategies are in place, considering regional distinctions, for successful launch. 
  • Maintain collaborative working relationships with Digital Marketing, CRM & Propositions team to ensure regional work is executed in a timely manner to support growth ambitions. 
  • Coach, mentor and train team members, driving a best-in-class regional marketing team. 
  • Ensure key stakeholders across the business understand the team’s regional marketing plans as well as regional marketplace considerations, customers, and competitors, and how insights from each help to inform the plan.
  • Accountable for managing own learning, taking responsibility to identify and develop skills gaps. 

Qualifications

  • Manage the inventory of channel-specific materials to ensure compliance requirements are met, data is current, and messaging is relevant
  • Perform all aspects of marketing compliance review and approval processes
  • Analyze campaign metrics on an ongoing basis to determine campaign success and provide insights based on data and feedback on how to improve future campaigns
  • Conduct ongoing competitive research on topics key competitors are focused on and where they are being featured
  • Manage communications with our sales channels to ensure they are informed on company marketing initiatives
  • Manage company’s online reputation and customer reviews
  • Project manage on-going sales channel needs such as new collateral, event coordination etc.

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • 10+ years of marketing experience in the financial services industry, working with senior executives
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proactive with proven track record of implementing multichannel marketing strategies both B2C and B2B
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
  • Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build trust and influence, and to collaborate effectively with and across teams to achieve the best results
  • Adept at juggling numerous projects and managing multiple stakeholders while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail
  • Ability to analyze metrics and present information in a meaningful way
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related field

  • Creating compelling written content about plant-based food; precision fermentation; cultivated meat, dairy and fish; and the plant-based food industry - across ProVeg B2C and B2B media channels (articles, blog posts, social media, video, info material, website etc.) as well as for third party platforms.

  • Devising themes and ideas for content creation including building on the wide variety of ProVeg programmes across 12 countries, using effective storytelling and impact articles.

  • Working with colleagues on graphic and video content.

  • Maximising our reach by optimising content according to current SEO best practice.

  • Assuring quality control in close cooperation with the International Senior Digital Communications Manager, as well as ProVeg Editor-in-Chief and our research department.

  • Supporting PR function as back-up writer.

  • Working together with other content creators, communications managers, or external service providers to successfully engage with our target audience.

  • Repurposing content for different mediums, including social media and video.

Qualifications

Required:

Additional Information:

As a Senior Product Counsel, you’ll … 

  • Be the go-to legal partner for various teams and stakeholders with whom you’ll collaborate and provide legal expertise regarding compliance, best-practices, and legal implications (e.g., regulatory issues) for existing and proposed services, products, and other offerings. Identify, mitigate, and otherwise address product, privacy, and other regulatory gaps and risks, protecting Webflow while serving as a trusted and critical partner to your internal clients.
  • Lead the charge to refine, streamline, and advance Webflow’s product counseling processes, presenting innovative strategies to build a scalable and flexible product counseling function.  
  • Draft and negotiate a variety of privacy and product related agreements and related terms, including partner agreements, online terms, DPAs, BizDev agreements, and vendor agreements.   
  • Review marketing collateral and activities, and advise on compliance with applicable laws. 
  • Collaborate with commercial counsel to create and iterate terms and templates to move in lockstep with Product and other cross-functional teams.  
  • Partner with internal teams to incorporate privacy by design and risk management into Webflow’s products and services throughout the product lifecycle. 
  • Liaise between Product and the broader Legal team to keep teammates abreast of product roadmaps, initiatives, and legal support requests.
  • Stay current on legislative changes and industry best practices related to AI regulations, industry trends, and best practices, and offer recommendations as Webflow’s use of AI evolves.

About you 

You’ll thrive as Senior Product Counsel if you:

  • Have experience understanding and advising fast-paced B2C and B2B companies on common legal issues they encounter as their products evolve and the role in-house counsel plays in enabling business clients to achieve their goals and objectives.
  • Have a general working knowledge of applicable privacy laws and regulations such as FTC Section 5, TCPA, TSR, CAN-SPAM, GLBA, HIPAA, and state-level privacy laws such as the CPRA. Familiarity and experience with international privacy laws, including PIPEDA, CASL, and GDPR, is a plus.
  • Have prior experience working with AI governance, APIs, third party marketplaces (e.g. app stores), open source software, and complex intellectual property matters 
  • Have knowledge of web frameworks and an understanding of web infrastructure.
  • Are a motivated self-starter with the ability to self-serve on a majority of privacy and contractual issues and collaborate with SMEs when necessary. 
  • Are adaptable and an effective multi-tasker, with a demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple, often competing, demands for your time.
  • Are a creative thinker, collaborative, and excited to contribute to a lean but growing Legal team on a variety of projects which may fall outside of your core expertise.  
  • Have a track record of forming and maintaining strong partner and cross-functional relationships.
  • Have a minimum of five years of privacy/product counseling experience, preferably in-house at a tech or a SaaS company.
  • Have a JD and at least one active state bar membership (CIPP certification preferred, not required).

What you'll need:

  • Knowledge of e-commerce, marketing and the current trends in the industry.
  • Experience of leading teams and projects 
  • Familiarity with the following emerging sectors (the more the better) – online analytics, BI, performance marketing, product management, marketing automation, data science, A/B testing, personalisation, campaign optimisation, automation, customer lifetime, e-mailing automation, reactivation, customer segmentation, attribution modeling, prediction.
  • Ability to understand and actively use analytical concepts to identify which stage the business has reached, which KPIs are crucial for decision-making and which metrics the business is based on.

The base salary range for this position is $70,000-$110,000.             Duties and responsibilities
