The ideal candidate for this position must have an extensive background as a software developer for Java related technologies. This position is responsible for designing and coding software assignments which could go from new developments, enhancements, maintenance, or production support.

The position will assist their manager in the planning of each task and will also assist their team in designing solutions; therefore, this individual must be a strong team player.

 

Work you’ll do:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for design, analysis, and implementation of all areas/phases of product development in a Microsoft environment.  The developer will work in a small, fast paced, agile product development team for Experian Health products specifically for Order Manager/Schedule manager and other products under Automation Tribe.
  • Defines specifications and develops programs, modifies existing programs, prepares test data, and prepares functional specifications.
  • Analyzes program performance during execution while using various programming languages and techniques.
  • Provides guidance to non-technical staff in using software and hardware systems most effectively and efficiently.
  • Reviews project proposals, evaluates alternatives, provides estimates and makes recommendations.
  • Designs and defines specifications for systems.
  • Identifies potential process improvement areas and suggests options and recommends approaches.
  • Other Duties as required.

 

     

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • Should hands-on experience as Software Developer/Engineer.
    • Experience building large Java based applications and good understanding of complex, multi-tier architectures.
    • Java Spring, Web Services, and SOAP & REST API.
    • Experience in the development and use of Unit Tests.
    • Knowledge of Relational Databases
    • ORM technologies (Hibernate) and SQL including writing stored procedures.
    • Apache Tomcat Application Server

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math or other related subjects.
    • 5+ years of experience in a computing environment with multiple programming languages.
    • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server & T-SQL (2008, 2012)
    • Familiarity with Atlassian tools, Automated QA and wire-framing or visualization tools is a plus.
    • Experience working with Agile development processes.
    • Experience in web development using HTML, JavaScript, XML, IIS, AJAX, jQuery and TypeScript
    • Desired - Mybatis, YUI, Angular
    • Desired - experience with Docker & Openshift

    Balsam International is looking for aFull Stack Engineer who will be responsible for taking complete, end-to-end ownership of projects across the entire stack.     Job Description

    The Design Enablement & Automation team is seeking an experienced Data Analytics Senior Engineer with strong software engineering skills to develop data-driven automation tools for improving business efficacy and gaining better insights into engineering processes.     Project – the aim you’ll have 

    GEM One is our Belgian client. Currently, we already have three 6-person dev teams, each consisting of a dev tech lead, 4 dev engineers and 1 test automation engineer, plus a dedicated architect and UX/UI designer for the project in Poland. Our project is a new enterprise on an IoT platform, which is used to monitor a fleet of machines. The machines have devices installed that send data packets to the IoT platform via GSM communication. The platform is built based on GCP (Google Cloud Platform) using Angular, Java, Node.js, Kubernetes. 

    Qualifications

    Position – how you’ll contribute 

    • Learning our new test automation framework 
    • Scripting test cases covering regression testing scope for given features and system domains 
    • Manually testing, whenever necessary 

    Additional Information

    Expectations – the experience you need 

    Required 

    • Decent knowledge of software testing methodologies, functional and regression testing, software QA tools and processes. 
    • Ability to code using JavaScript / TypeScript experience is big plus. 
    • Experience in other programing languages, like Java or C# is also acceptable, provided the candidate knowns at least JavaScript basics and is willing to learn TypeScript. 
    • Hands-on experience creating automated web application tests, preferably using Protractor. Knowledge of similar frameworks, like Selenium, Geb or Cypress is also acceptable, provided that the candidate is willing to learn Protractor. 
    • Knowledge of BDD and TDD development methodologies is a plus. 
    • Knowledge of common automated testing patterns and best practices, like Page Object etc. is a plus. 
    • Basic experience with any relation database, preferably PostreSQL. 
    • Understanding (preferably also hands-on experience) with automated REST API testing. 
    • Knowledge of the agile software development cycle. 

    Nice to have: 

    • Experience with the following libraries and frameworks: Cucumber, Mocha, Chai, Superagent or Rest Assured. 
    • Experience with Node.js, especially npm packets manager. 
    • Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform or any other cloud system (Amazon, Azure etc.). 
    • Basic experience with no-sql databases (like Mongo, Cassandra, Bigtable etc.).
    • Basic understanding of popular integration technologies and tools (like GCP Pub/Sub, Amazon SQS, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Kafta, Apache Cameletc). 
    • Experience in event- driven solution architectures (e.g. IoT) 
    • Experience with an international environment. 
    • Web security technology skills (JWT tokens, Oauth 2 etc.) 
    • ISTQB Foundation Level Certificate.
