Overview

  • As a Staff Information Security Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures to safeguard our cloud network infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our critical systems, as well as proactively identifying and mitigating potential security threats.

What you’ll do

  • Network Security Architecture:
    • Design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.
    • Create and maintain network and security documentation.

  • Firewall and Intrusion Prevention:

As a Staff Site Reliability Engineer, you’ll … 

  • Join our Site Reliability team, which is responsible for infrastructure behind our core Webflow tools, APIs, and hosting services.
  • Empower engineers on other teams to take control of their services by writing shared infrastructure-as-code tooling and collaborating on internal best practices for infrastructure.
  • Consult with other teams across engineering to continuously improve runbooks, documentation, and other operational processes to better support our production environment.
  • Occasionally dive into the main Webflow application in Node, Python, or Go to better discern (and sometimes fix) behavior in production.
  • Drive relationships with stakeholders across Customer Support, Partnerships, and Sales to understand how Webflow’s production services should support projected growth. 
  • Participate in and help to scale on-call and incident response processes with future roadmapping in mind.
  • Drive cross-pillar collaboration with software engineers, product managers, designers, and QA analysts in an autonomous, supportive team environment.
  • Effectively communicate team priorities and strategy to engineering and cross-functional leadership teams.
  • Improve our planning, development, and deployment processes to help you and your fellow team members.
  • Participate in all engineering activities including incident response, interviewing, designing and reviewing technical specifications, code review, and releasing new functionality.

About you 

You’ll thrive as a Staff Site Reliability Engineer if you … 

  • Have 7-10+ years of experience in scalable, multi-tenant environments.
  • Either a background as an ops engineer with an enthusiasm for code, or a background as a software engineer with an enthusiasm for systems administration.
  • 5+ years of experience building, maintaining, and debugging distributed systems in a customer-facing environment that allows for little to no downtime.
  • Experience navigating and scaling multi-tier cloud environments on either AWS or GCP.
  • Experience with container-centric architectures, built with Docker and tools like Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, AKS, OpenShift, etc.), ECS, Docker Swarm, or Mesos.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Experience in contributing to full-stack applications built using tools like React, Node, and MongoDB.
  • Enthusiasm for mentoring and sponsoring less-experienced engineers.

It would be a bonus if you had even one of the following:

  • Experience with Kubernetes, Nginx, Terraform, or Pulumi specifically.
  • Experience improving on-call and incident response processes for Engineering.
  • Experience working in high-compliance environments or a special interest in security engineering. We are not the security team, but we are always looking to improve our security posture!

As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will run point on designing our BI infrastructure to scale performantly. About This Role

iRhythm is currently looking for an EHR Integration Engineer who will be responsible to provide services for our EHR Integration Platform. You will drive standards, tooling and upgrades used by our EHR Customers for all aspects of running an application. This role can work remotely.

Specific Job Responsibilities:

  • Automate the build and deployment of the EHR platform in AWS environment
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations and enhancements for a smooth running EHR system
  • Lead technical discussions and debugging sessions alongside engineers during major incidents
  • Solve escalated issues from other customer support teams and ensure we deliver timely and effective resolution
  • Troubleshoot customer issues within our interface engine (Mirth/InterSystems) and develop processes to prevent similar issues in the future
  • Analyze customer support trends and present the data and proposed solutions for continuous improvement of our services
  • Work with current integrated customers to understand their business needs and help close any identified gaps in our processes and offerings
  • Interact with clients to help them expand their use of Zio Integration to new sites and specialties, or to meet new needs and goals
  • Work and communicate independently with the client’s implementation team and cross-functionally within iRhythm on a regular basis
  • Identify success metrics and KPI’s of the EHR platform’s uptime
  • Post-implementation partnership with iRhythm Customer Care and Revenue Cycle Services organizations to provide ongoing support
  • Drive continuous improvement of our processes and value to customers by leading and executing on internal projects, interacting with multiple internal and vendor stakeholders

About You:

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience with EHR integration applications and underlying AWS or preferable cloud infrastructure in the healthcare industry
  • Proficiency with HL7, FHIR, and SMART on FHIR integration engine solutions
  • Knowledge of two or more integration engines (Mirth or Intersystem’s preferred)
  • Familiarity with migrating integration engines is a bonus!
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Terraform, Puppet, or Ansible
  • Strong Linux system administration skills
  • Some exposure with relational databases
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (DNS, TCP/IP, IPSec and firewalls)
  • At least 3 years using Python, JavaScript, or other scripting languages
  • Familiarity with building and supporting custom API’s
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in the healthcare technology field
  • Proven success in working with health care systems or providers

The Challenge to Solve

Continue to provide Slice a best-in-class platform with industry-unrivaled performance and availability in support of millions of orders while empowering Slicers to build, test, and deploy our apps easily, safely, and reliably.

The Role

You will provide technical leadership to an experienced and skilled team of Engineers, where you will be responsible for standardizing and optimizing deployment pipelines to make deployments fast and error-free. You will help keep our infrastructure consistent and reproducible with Terraform, focusing on observability and cost-containment, while also ensuring high availability and reliability of the Slice platform.

The Team

You’ll work with a team of skilled infrastructure engineers daily, partnering with the Data, Security, QA, and Product Engineers to troubleshoot production issues, ensuring our systems are stable, monitored, and secure. You’ll provide input and guidance on our platform, mentor junior engineers, and research solutions to scaling issues. With several optimization projects ahead, you will have the opportunity to lead in their implementation with a high degree of autonomy. This role reports to the Director of Platform Engineering.

The Winning Recipe

We’re looking for creative, driven, entrepreneurial DevOps engineers who are excited to build world-class infrastructure and scale in small businesses. These are the core competencies this role calls for:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps role.
  • Strong experience with cloud infrastructure and services, primarily AWS.
  • Strong experience with cloud-based  CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Github Actions or Gitlab pipelines.
  • Strong knowledge of IAC tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Chef.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration using tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a production environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a cross-functional team.
