The Cloud Devops team at Liveperson is looking for an experienced DevOps engineer: a candidate that takes on challenges, continuously expands his area of expertise and naturally takes ownership of his work. The ideal candidate has a strong engineering background, an eagerness to follow good practices and a desire to apply his skills in the field of DevOps.
We will provide you the grounds to succeed, an embracing working environment and very complex and interesting technical challenges to solve.
You will:
- Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters on the cloud (e.g., GCP) and on-prem to support containerized applications.
- Implement best practices for monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting within Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with the cloud team to provision, configure, and maintain cloud resources on GCP, ensuring optimal performance and cost efficiency.
- Implement automation for resource provisioning and scaling using tools like Terraform and Helm.
You have:
- 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role - MUST
- Experience with GitLab, including GitLab CI/CD - high advantage
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools such as Bash, Python or ruby - MUST
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes - MUST
- Proven experience of Ansible - advantage
- Experience of infrastructure-as-code concepts using tools like Terraform - advantage.
- Experience with Helm and puppet - advantage.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (advantage)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
