The Director of Enterprise Cybersecurity leads Torc's information security strategy and operations. This role is responsible for protecting Torc’s digital assets, managing security risks, and fostering a culture of security awareness across the organization. The Director of Enterprise Cybersecurity is hands-on, using technical expertise and strong leadership skills to drive Torc’s security program forward.

What you'll be doing:

  • Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies; and continuously update our security strategies and solutions accordingly
  • Oversee and evaluate the implementation of security controls, including but not limited to identity and access management, vulnerability management, detection and response, and training
  • Provide expert guidance to cybersecurity team members, fostering a culture of security awareness throughout the organization
  • Liaise with external security vendors and partners, managing relationships and ensuring the effective integration of third-party security solutions
  • Prepare and present reports on security architecture, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies to senior management and relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry, regulatory, and organizational cybersecurity standards and policies
  • Participate in and support incident response and forensic activities in the event of a security breach
  • Represent Torc at external standards and industry bodies and communicate our cybersecurity approach.

What you need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity or a related field or work experience equivalent to a Master’s degree.
  • Minimum 8 years in cybersecurity with at least 3 years in a role leading cybersecurity programs
  • Ability to be a strategic partner to the organization and identify & plan how to meet future needs of the organization
  • Expert knowledge and demonstrated leader of functional area or department; acts as an advisor to leaders on relevant trends and emerging issues
  • Ability to effectively manage a team of professionals and identify opportunities to grow and develop the team
  • Strong understanding of identity and access management, vulnerability management, and GRC
  • Proficient in security frameworks and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, CIS Controls, NIST CSF)

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain off-the-shelf and custom test automation frameworks for our C# and NodeJS based applications deployed to Kubernetes.
  • Improve code coverage for our unit, integration, stress and end-to-end testing.
  • Drive our software development process toward quality-centric methodologies,  automation, and efficiency.
  • Work directly with engineers on our backend and devops teams, our QA analysts, and operations and broadcast teams.
  • Perform manual testing for any backend systems that do not have automated tests in place.

Required Qualifications

Our hiring process will select a candidate who thrives in a high-impact, client-facing role that demands both technical acumen and strategic thinking, with an eye for designing solutions for scale and prevention rather than fire-fighting. The ideal candidate will possess a high degree of autonomy, resilience, ingenuity, and creativity. Activities and Responsibilities:

  • Via structured analysis and while communicating in multiple modalities, help customers troubleshoot issues that they encounter while using Signifyd’s platform and provide actionable recommendations to resolve problems
  • Serve as the technical point of contact during events that disrupt Signifyd’s services, ensuring alignment between client needs and product capabilities and lead technical diligence on solution integration, APIs, and eCommerce workflows
  • Clearly and efficiently escalate unresolved customer issues to the appropriate cross-functional teams (especially with engineering and product teams to escalate and resolve technical issues)
  • Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify anomalous patterns and trends, leveraging tools like DataDog, Loggly, Jaeger, Python, SQL, and Pandas, and internal datasets via BI visualization (e.g., Looker)
  • Document and train cross-functional teams on expected and novel technical interactions and ideal solution states for known and experienced events that disrupt Signifyd’s services

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in customer-facing technical support environments, preferably in ecommerce, antifraud or payments-related domains
  • Extensive experience with querying and scripting tools (Python, SQL) and monitoring platforms (DataDog, Loggly)
  • Participate in a rotational on-call schedule, covering evenings (6 PM – 6 AM PT) on weekdays and one weekend day every other week
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

About the Role:

The Marketplace Operations & Merchandising Specialist will manage a multi-channel promotion calendar, group products into enticing collections, and work closely with our product marketplace and marketing teams.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Optimize Product Display:Re-order products and collections to enhance customer engagement and maximize revenue per click. 
  • Add Products to the Product Marketplace:Upload and maintain new products, ensuring accurate categorization, pricing, and imagery. 
  • React to Problem Logs and Alerts: Monitor and address "report a problem" logs and other system alerts to resolve issues quickly and maintain a seamless shopping experience. 
  • Help with Product Troubleshooting and Strategy: Investigate and resolve product-related issues while providing actionable insights to refine marketplace strategies. 
  • Create Product Collections:Develop and manage product groupings based on seasonality, partner placements, and customer preferences. 
  • Marketplace Trend Spotting:Stay up-to-date with industry trends and seasonal shopping behaviors. Proactively propose new collections, features, or promotions that align with emerging opportunities. 
  • Quality Assurance Auditing:Complete daily audits of Sezzle’s product marketplace, ensuring all product information is correct and up-to-date 
  • Find and Activate Deals and Coupons: Identify and activate deals and coupons from top merchants, and operationally manage coupon merchandising across the Sezzle app to drive customer engagement and sales. 
  • Conduct Competitive Analysis:Regularly benchmark Sezzle’s product marketplace against competitors and recommend new features or collections to maintain a competitive edge. 
  • Performance Reporting:Develop and maintain regular performance reports for product collections, promotions, and other marketplace initiatives. Use insights to optimize future eorts. 
  • Testing and Experimentation:Design and execute A/B tests to evaluate changes in product placements, promotional strategies, or collection structures. Use results to implement data-driven improvements. 
  • Manage Product Promotion Calendar & Lifecycle Communications:Oversee a multi-channel promotion calendar, including email, mobile, and in-app product promotions. 
  • Comprehensive Documentation:Create and maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation of all operational processes related to the product marketplace. 
  • Copywriting:Assist with ad-hoc marketing and product marketing copywriting requests. 
  • Operational Monitoring: Identify systematic issues to set up monitoring alerts.

What We Look For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. 
  • Prior experience in merchandising, retail, or e-commerce. 
  • Fluent in written and spoken English. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to eectively collaborate with team members and external partners. 
  • Ability to analyze sales data and customer behavior to make data-driven merchandising decisions.
