Overview of the Role: 

The Senior Data Analyst, Business Analytics is a key contributor and subject matter expert on our Analytics team enabling our clients to make better data-driven decisions on financial, operational, and clinical initiatives. This role covers internal and external customers and requires working cross-functionally to understand evolving business needs and requirements. This Privia Partner is responsible for helping to design and develop reports, presentations, and models to guide the strategic decision making of our stakeholders. They also use advanced analytics techniques to guide business decisions and proactively identify opportunities and threats.

Primary Job Duties: 

  • Build data infrastructure conducive to reporting and analytics. This will involve data extraction, data transformation, data wrangling and data mining. 

  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses across a multitude of business users, including pop health, revenue cycle management, payer contracting and financial domains 

  • Utilize multiple ETL and API tools and methods to ingest disparate data into the Privia Data Warehouse in an efficient and scalable manner

  • Collaborate with population health teams to improve outcomes and savings across Privia’s value-based care business, while understanding the key drivers of success

  • Independently extract and transform data from Privia’s data warehouse and convey key findings to leadership

  • Utilize data expertise to improve data validity and integrity across the enterprise and design preventative safeguards to prevent future issues

  • Identify opportunities and develop tools that proactively improve business and health outcomes for providers and patients

  • Mentor team members at all levels on data mining and analysis best practices to promote a highly functioning data analytics organization

  • Set standards for data architecture and data model creation and share best practices across the enterprise 

  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into actionable requirements

  • Manage multiple priorities within an agile framework and set expectations with customers on timelines​​​​​​​

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, etc.) or equivalent experience

  • 3-4 years of experience querying SQL databases

  • 3-4 years of experience utilizing Python or R to analyze data, create work products, build ETL frameworks and automate tasks

  • 2+ years of experience working with Healthcare concepts and/or data

  • Must have experience with Microsoft Excel (expert level) and ability to create compelling PPT presentations

  • Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations

        Greenlight Guru is looking for aBusiness Intelligence Analystto add to the team. As Greenlight Guru grows, data analysis requests, data infrastructure updates, and mathematical modeling opportunities increase. The data analytics team within Greenlight Guru transforms data into critical information for the organization, developing decision support models, managing integrations between a variety of applications, and owning the business intelligence ecosystem. You will be responsible for working closely with the rest of the data analytics team to scale analytical capabilities to meet the company's expanding needs.


        Serving as a key player of our team and reporting to our Data & Analytics Director, this role will allow the data team to simultaneously build the data ecosystem to world-class standards while meeting the analytical needs of different departments. This role requires a “jack-of-all-trades” mentality that is proactive, can create solutions when needed, and work across departments.         Roles and responsibilities:

        • Utilize technical, analytical, and business skills to meet growing organizational data needs
        • Continually enhance the organization’s business intelligence solution through building new data visualizations, analyzing data using Snowflake data models/SQL/dbt Online, and serving as an admin for Tableau.
        • Ensure new and existing dashboards meet user needs, and that analysis is easy to find, clearly understandable and actionable, fast and intuitive to navigate, and reliable.
        • Act as spokesperson, domain expert, and technical help for Tableau, providing training and guidance to promote data literacy and self-service analytics throughout the organization
        • Ensure data consistency and accuracy through auditing analytical outputs, finding outliers, and reporting data quality issues to their originating departments, applying automation wherever possible
        • Identify continuous improvement opportunities to bring further efficiency and clarity to the team’s processes.
        • Perform ad-hoc, routine, and long-term data analyses and create dashboards that reveal the true story behind the data
        • Authentically and effectively communicate with members of various teams within the organization.


        Requirements:

        • 1-3 years of business intelligence or data analysis experience
        • Background in a technical or quantitative field including but not limited to: mathematics, computer science, economics, engineering, biology, chemistry, business, and more
        • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and synthesize information using programming languages (SQL, Python, and/or R) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Sisense, etc.)
        • Domain experience (Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Finance, etc.) working at a SaaS organization is a major plus.
        • Some experience with dbt Online/Core is a major plus
        • Some experience with a cloud-based data warehousing application such as Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, or Azure SQL Data Warehouse is a plus
        • Must have a growth mindset with a natural curiosity for learning new skills and business perspectives
        • Self-starter with the ability to apply creativity to their tasks with a critical eye for accuracy

        Main Functions: 

        • Partner with our business teams on needs analysis and business risk assessment, leading business process (re)design, acclimating the processes to changes in technology and collaborating with partners on how to best support business strategies and patients through the effective use of technology.• Liaison between North American Commercial Pharm Business Technology Product Lines and business partners to understand business processes and priorities and handle technology demand.• Monitor and maintain progress on all key project phases utilizing existing Project Management and SDLC tools and methodologies.• Manage Demand intake, Operational Support Processes, and on-going site activation work with business and IT teams including (Product Lines, Technical Quality/QCSV, and Information Security Risk Management)• Build out ongoing program documentation to support roadmaps, user journey, data and architecture diagrams

         

        Experience

        • College degree in related technical/business areas or equivalent work experience

        • Proficient in Microsoft Excel including advanced functions such as macro creation and vlookup functions
        • Good communication skills. Capable of scaling communications to relevant audiences (LOB, Management, Technical, Labor, etc)
        • Capable of influencing others, builds relationships easily and is comfortable working in a collaborative team environment
        • Candidate must be comfortable with escalation and transparency
