Job Description

AWS SysOps Administrator provides the required knowledge and expertise related to the working of AWS cloud, involved throughout the life cycle of AWS cloud projects and setups. AWS SysOps Administrator is responsible for support, maintenance, and management of enterprise AWS cloud infrastructure to provide smooth and stable cloud operation.

Reporting to the Junior Associate Director, Information Technology, you will:

  • Deploy, manage, and operate various required systems and services on AWS cloud.
  • Monitor, diagnose and resolve problems within the AWS environment to ensure systems are stable and performing efficiently.
  • Performing services such as patching and software upgrades.
  • Responsible for day-to-day AWS (Hardware, Software, Networks)
  • Provide day-to-day monitoring and capacity planning of the existing AWS tenant and Physical/Virtual SAN storage including Vmware VCenter.
  • Working with monitoring platforms (DataDog, SolarWinds, etc), and assist other teams with alerts setup and dashboards
  • Participate in projects to improve and upgrade systems that are hosted within or integrate with AWS.
  • Creating backups and managing disaster recovery
  • Provide effective communication with required 3rd party vendors and consultants as part of the projects and support activities.
  • Work on technical documentation and keep it up to date

Qualifications

You Have:

  • Ideally you will have 3+ years experience working in AWS operations or AWS Systems operations with the addition of infrastructure background
  • Qualifications/hands on experience supporting WIndows Server & Linux OS
  • Qualifications/hands on experience with Ansible
  • Bachelor's/Associates degree in computer engineering or computer science and/or relevant AWS accreditations such as MCSE, MCTIP, VCP, AWS Practitioner, SysOps & Solutions Architect (Desirable)
  • ITIL Certified is an asset

As a Super Soccer Stars coach, you have the opportunity to lead curriculum-based soccer classes for children in preschools, schools, churches, and other locations throughout the Sumner County area, with a heavy focus in Hendersonville and Gallatin. We will provide the training and equipment, and after our certification process, you will be able to lead classes for a nationally-recognized youth enrichment program, focused on soccer FUNdamentals!
