LGI Homes is seeking a Land Acquisitions Coordinator in the Tampa Area.

The Land Acquisitions Coordinator is responsible for supporting multi-million dollar acquisition deals by providing administrative support to the Land Acquisitions team.

This role will support the acquisition of lots/land in the Florida market, including contract facilitation, escrow and title coordination, and closing documentation and filing in accordance with the LGI Acquisitions Manual. This role will be responsible for the maintenance and ongoing management of land/lot databases, and order field deliverables such as boundary surveys and environmental assessments as needed. This role will conduct daily data entry and reporting and prepare weekly reports for management.

A Bachelor’s Degree is required, and at least 1 year of administrative experience is highly preferred. The Land Acquisitions Coordinator must have a positive attitude, be detail-oriented and have the ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments.

Responsibilities and Required Skills:

  • Execute full scope of leading practice System Development Lifecycle activities – functional and technical requirements, solution design, interface and system build, testing cycles, training, and deployment
  • Translate business requirements to technical solution designs
  • Assist in the design/configure BlackLine solutions based on leading practice system design principles that meet business requirements
  • Assist in leading BlackLine technical resources and teams on system implementations across full SDLC lifecycle with robust documentation, meeting deadlines and budgets
  • Assist in leading conversations with Finance leaders and CFOs regarding their strategic agenda and provide meaningful insights
  • Provide BlackLine subject matter expertise to client engagements, involving assessment, finance transformation, vendor selections, and implementations
  • Assist in leading BlackLine teams through design sessions and lead technical design and build throughout an implementation

Qualifications and Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in a business-related field of study, information technology, or engineering
  • 2-3+ years of BlackLine implementation experience (consulting experience strongly preferred)
  • Experience with multiple full-lifecycle BlackLine implementations
  • Technical knowledge and implementation experience across various BlackLine modules:
    -Reconciliations
    -Tasks
    -Matching
    -Variance
    -Journals
    -Intercompany Hub
  • Ability to manage people, develop teams and coach more junior team members
  • Effective organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple and competing priorities
