Job Description

the Sr Graphic Design Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping our brand identity, standards, and voice. Able to quickly interpret business needs and turn them into compelling creative solutions with a high standard for consistency in brand expression and quality of work, managing both external and internal creative teams across editorial and design functions.

The ideal candidate is able to craft smart, innovative, and engaging content across digital and print mediums all designed to work together strategically to create meaningful outcomes for our target audiences. To be successful in this role, the individual must be an effective communicator, especially when it comes to relaying creative concepts to company stakeholders, often working under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with copywriters, designers, and marketing strategists, offering art direction, creative execution, and management of creative execution.
  • Interpret abstract business concepts and creative briefs and turn them into creative ideas, using strategy to inform creative decisions.
  • Pitch ideas and the creative vision and communicate the project outline to other members of the design/creative/marketing team.
  • Uphold brand guidelines and standards across all initiatives, helping to build and establish BBNA and our family of brands.
  • Offers art direction to internal and external team members.
  • Initiate and develop creative ideas for on-brand websites, email campaigns and cross-channel digital advertisements.
  • Develop and design new templates, guidelines and guides.
  • Design, format, and update PowerPoint presentations.
  • Understand the importance of integrated thinking across channels, products, and audiences, while staying true to the brand.
  • Create storyboards and mockups to visualize the completed project.
  • Provide suggestions and ideas to improve design materials.
  • Remain current with new technologies, theories, practices, and techniques related to graphic design.
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, delivering error-free work, using best practices with keen attention to detail.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • BA degree in graphic design, fine arts, advertising, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of senior-level design experience, with team management experience preferred
  • Fundamental knowledge of core design principles (typography, design & layout, and composition)
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Excellent knowledge of web/digital design - knowledge in HTML, CSS, and Javascript is a plus
  • Video Editing and design a plus
  • Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) with advanced PowerPoint knowledge preferred
  • Good collaboration and communication skills.
  • Great time management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to resolve complex design and communication issues
  • Portfolio required
  • Ability to travel as needed to achieve business objectives (<10% of time).

Our engineers are expected to give input on high level architecture and coding decisions.

What you’ll bring:

  • 4+ years experience in working with Ruby on Rails
  • Minimum of 3 years working in an Agile software development environment
  • Programming in a major open source language, such as Ruby, Python, Go, Java, or JavaScript
  • Understanding of the fundamental technologies of the web: HTTP, SSL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON
  • Experience with a front end JS framework (like Angular, React, Backbone) 
  • Extensive experience in taking program requirements and creating an architecture vision with experience in high volume and high availability networks and systems
  • Experience in creating and conveying to team members the architectural vision for a program or project
  • Build APIs that support both the digital services we deliver as well as third-party usage

THE ROLE

Overview:

Over the next three years, our goal is to transform the 268 billion analogue phone calls between a brand and it’s consumers to digital on the LiveEngage platform. By doing this, we enable consumers to get back time and experience a more connected relationship with the brand in which sales, service, marketing, branches, stores, and contact center's become a unified experience.

You will: 

  • Own the design and implementation of significant portions of the product development.
  • Maintain and enhance existing web applications 
  • Coordinate with engineers to integrate backend api
  • Work closely with UX teams and Product Management to define and build the optimal user experience for our customers
  • Develop technical specifications, documentation, and assistance tools
  • Keep an eye on industry standards and best practices
  • Support customers

You have:

Deep knowledge and understanding of client-side architecture and experience in building large scale and high performance web applications

  • Proficient in understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
  • Proficient in understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, especially ReactJS, AngularJS,  Angular 8.x, and VueJs
  • Experience using CSS preprocessors such as SASS or LESS
  • Experience building data visualization using libraries such as d3.js
  • Experience using build tools such as Webpack, Gulp or Grunt.
  • Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  • Good understanding of scalability design principles
  • Understanding principles of design and knowledge of user experience and accessibility
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-starter with strong motivation and execution capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team player 
  • Knowledge of frontend testing frameworks such as Jasmine and Karma is a plus
  • Proficiency with JavaScript ES6 and Typescript is a plus
  • Knowledge of Node.js is a plus

What you need for success:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience building successful web applications in production

Твоя зона впливу:

  • Тестування і своєчасне виявлення багів ;
  • Написання баг-репортів і ведення тестової документації;
  • Активна участь в процесі обговорення та валідації ідей;
  • Постійна комунікація з розробниками і продуктової командою.

Для цього тобі знадобиться:

  • Від 1 року комерційного досвіду в тестуванні;
  • Знання технік тест дизайну, розуміння принципів тестування та вміння застосувати це на практиці;
  • Досвід написання тестової документації (TestRail);
  • Досвід роботи з Dev Tools;
  • Базові знання HTML, CSS;
  • Проактивність, вміння працювати на результат, гнучкість у підходах;
  • Англіський Intermediate+.

Буде плюсом:

  • Вміння користуватись Postman + є досвід у тестуванні API;
  • Досвід з Jira чи будь якою іншою bug-tracking systems;
  • Розуміння Agile и Scrum, SDCL;
  • Знання SQL та робота з БД.

• Lead migration projects with experience and expertise in leading a SharePoint Migration.

developing in SharePoint Online.
• Participate in requirements definition sessions to gain a general perspective on the business

• Create and maintain workflows.
• Develop and maintain databases including MS SQL

Qualifications

Experience/Skills:
• Experience with Agile or SAFe frameworks.
• Strong development skills in .NET Framework (C#) and SharePoint APIs as a whole; Web Services 
and PowerShell programming.
• Experience in developing applications with SharePoint and demonstrated experience building 
workflow and collaboration solutions.
• Experience developing WSP packages for custom solutions deployment.
• Experience with databases and database software, i.e., MS SQL
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design, web application architecture; JavaScript, CSS, 
and XML.
• Experience with MS Visual Studio and SharePoint Designer
• Experience with migrating SharePoint on-premises to online highly preferred.
• Experience with multiple Business Intelligence tools, multi database, multi-language or multi 
business application preferred.
• Experience leading people, small projects and provide troubleshooting support strongly 
preferred
