As a key member of the growing transactions partnerships team, you’ll directly manage engagements with crossborder partners, advancing our product over the long term and helping create advantage for our merchants. You’ll become an expert on Shopify’s strategy, and align our goals with those of your partner. Partner Managers need to excel at cross-functional work, as you’ll interact heavily with product, engineering, design, finance, support, and marketing teams, and be able to create meaningful relationships with brand new partners quickly. This is what you will be doing day to day:

  • Support the strategic objectives and interests of Shopify’s product teams on a global basis and further these objectives through partnership

  • Play an influential leading role in the development of Shopify’s cross-border native & app ecosystem partners including but not limited to partner evaluation and selection, API services development scope, partner qualification program development, and ongoing scoping and prioritization of services to support partners and merchants. 

  • Serve as partner advocate inside Shopify to drive requirements and product direction hand-in-hand with product and engineering teams to meet Shopify and partners’ goals to successfully launch robust partner product platforms that serve many merchant segments. 

  • Manages the integration of our strategic partners, as it relates to international shipping products and compliance.

  • Gather partner feedback and requests, evaluate and work with product and eng to prioritize as needed. 

  • Contribute to growing the partnership over time by nurturing a long-term relationship, fostering a deep understanding of partner objectives and values, and being laser-focused on KPIs

  • Develop infrastructure, operational efficiencies and continuous improvement for various projects across multiple teams at Shopify, to make sure Shopify merchants have a coherent shipping experience, across all our Shipping products, particularly for cross-border compliance.

  • Work with partners to ideate on or explore product integrations and/or develop new business models, securing buy-in from cross-functional stakeholders and leadership, internally and externally

  • Negotiate deals with one or more strategic partners both locally and globally

  • Identify new partnership opportunities that have high potential to drive new merchants to Shopify 

  • Lead discussion amongst cross functional teams within Shopify including Product, Engineering, Marketing, Support, Legal, and Finance to execute on various opportunities that impact the success of merchants

What your role will look like:

Working closely with an interdisciplinary team, you and your team will be responsible for the evolution of Customer Support tools & technology using data for decision support  (conversations tools for email, chat & phone interactions, self help tools such as Help Center Search & Concierge, Community & Social support tools, etc. etc.) across all surfaces that merchants interact with. Your team will focus on developing strong data foundations, data-driven products, and reporting and experimentation frameworks to empower the Support organization to make great decisions quickly.

Qualifications

You will need to have:

  • Team development:You’ll need a demonstrated track record of attracting top data professionals (data engineers, data scientists, ML engineers, statisticians, etc.), developing those people (both ICs and managers) to make them even better, and managing the growth of teams. You have several years of experience managing and scaling multiple teams. 

  • Data Experience at scale:You’ve been a leader in companies where data science was used on top of massive data sets to drive product/business decisions and resulted in powerful data products. You have extensive experience with languages like SQL, Spark, and Python.

  • Analytics expertise:You’ll need to be amazing at coming up with new, meaningful metrics to measure the success of our operations; you'll be equally strong at making sure the data needed to support those metrics are available. You have multiple years of experience managing decisions at scale, including causal inference and experimentation.

  • Well-balanced skills:People have trouble pinning you down. Business, product, and technical teams claim you as their own.  You are equal parts technical and functional (and both are exceptionally strong), and you are equally comfortable and effective at presenting to technical or business leaders.

Job Description

As the Operations Specialist, you will work within our Performance Marketing Partnerships team to help us build a healthy, high-ROI affiliate program to support our goal of increasing awareness for Shopify and driving merchant growth through relationships with high-value affiliates and marketing partners. You'll have the opportunity to design, create, and execute integrated governance processes and products at the partner and program level with the overall objective of supporting healthy customer acquisition.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor affiliates for compliance of program terms, including affiliate fraud, PPC, and content violations and manage remediation processes 
  • Manage governance workstream with a team of contractors who assist with compliance oversight and provide quality assurance checks 
  • Serve as the main point of escalation for affiliate support tickets originating from Zendesk, including affiliate applications, ensuring data accuracy and monthly reconciliation with finance
  • Assess program compliance risk and provide recommendations for improvement 
  • Support overall channel operations, including the maintenance/enhancements to Impact Radius and Salesforce in order to better support Affiliate Partner Managers and overall channel operational efficiency 
  • Monitor channel and program performance ensuring all activity is tracking towards merchant acquisition and cost/customer targets.
  • Collaborate with Affiliate Partner Managers and data science teams to create and implement solutions and frameworks to ensure accurate and impactful measurement, reporting, and insights 
  • Manage affiliate approvals into the Education Partner Program
  • Strong analytical skills; must be proficient in analyzing and interpreting data from third-party platforms (i.e. Impact Radius) and adapt to custom internal reporting tools
  • Experience with Impact Radius is a plus
     

Qualifications

  • A strong analytics and growth mindset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and partnership acumen.
  • Experience working with growth teams like paid channels, lifecycle marketing, developers, engineers, designers, and data scientists.
  • A background in digital marketing including performance marketing, influencer and affiliate marketing, and customer acquisition marketing.
  • Experience developing performance reports using analytics tools like Mode.
  • Ability to influence cross functional teams and champion new concepts and ideas.

Our data scientists focus on pushing products and the business forward, with a focus on solving important problems rather than specific tools. We are looking for talented data scientists to help us better understand our merchants and buyers so we can help them on their journey.

This role is to join the APAC Revenue Data team, which is the data science team supporting the APAC Revenue org. Revenue is Shopify’s go-to-market org, which encompasses functions such as marketing, sales, partnerships, merchant success and support. The APAC data science team therefore works with these business stakeholders to get the Shopify product in the hands of merchants in APAC, and ensure that they grow and succeed on the platform. In addition we collaborate with and learn from our data science peers spread across the other regions and crafts within the company.

This role is to be based within Asia-Pacific (APAC) preferably in Singapore, India or Australia.

Responsibilities:

  • ​​​​​​Proactively identify and champion projects that solve complex problems across multiple domains
  • Partner closely with product, engineering and other business leaders to influence product and program decisions with data

  • Apply specialised skills and fundamental data science methods (e.g. regression, survival analysis, segmentation, experimentation, and machine learning when needed) to inform improvements to our business

  • Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines: work closely with stakeholders to build instrumentation and define dimensional models, tables or schemas  that support business processes

  • Build actionable KPIs, production-quality dashboards, informative deep dives, and scalable data products

  • Influence leadership to drive more data-informed decisions

  • Define and advance best practices within data science and product teams

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Data scientist. Domain experience in e-commerce, marketing or SaaS would be a plus.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent is preferred

  • Extensive experience with Python or Pyspark and software engineering fundamentals

  • Deep understanding of advanced SQL techniques, dimensional modeling and scaling ETL pipelines

  • Experience with applied statistics and quantitative modeling (e.g. regression, survival analysis, segmentation, experimentation, and machine learning when needed)

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join us in our growing Data Engineering team; to help develop, maintain, support, and integrate our growing number of data systems. As a Visual Communications Designer at Genomics England you will be response for creating clear, informative and well-designed visual artefacts to support our groundbreaking Newborns Screening Programme.

This role will suit a Senior or Lead Designer who can utilise their integrated design experience to communicate a range of concepts and solutions to the audiences of the Programme, which will cover patients, doctors, key stakeholders within the NHS and members of the public.

You will have the opportunity to use a varied design toolkit as you craft content for multichannel delivery, adapting different formats to suit the medium. As such, your work will span digital, print, information design, branding and much more. 

We'll look to you to present conceptual ideas and communicate detailed designs to both technical and non-technical colleagues. You'll provide constructive and respectful feedback of other designers’ work, and keep up to date with innovations in the design world to ensure your work is impactful and highly relevant.

To be considered for this position you will need a strong portfolio and demonstrable experience of performing well in previous Visual Communications Designer / Integrated Designer / Multichannel Designer roles.


Core Responsibilities:

- Design intuitive, compelling, and clear visual communications that consider the specific needs of our users (e.g. posters, leaflets, forms, etc)

- Contribute to brand language for the programme, collaborating with an external branding agency and translating insights from user research

- Create stimulus and communication materials for user discovery and user testing (e.g workbooks, speculative concept illustrations, infographics)

- Participate in user research and iterate on prototypes based on user feedback

- Create templates for the team on mediums such as PowerPoint & Miro to increase the quality of programme communications


Essential Skills and Experience:

- Significant experience in creating visual design work for multichannel delivery

- Demonstrable knowledge of UX design processes and methodologies, including interpreting and translating user research findings into visual designs

- Experienced in creating information visualisations 

- Able to collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members including designers, product managers, clinicians and third-party suppliers

- Strong organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

Experience with the following processes: securing the CI/CD pipeline, secure software development, static and dynamic application security tools, cloud workload protection, and API security. 

            Experience leading change and implementing technology and critical controls across a global, diverse enterprise is required. The candidate will be a self-motivated, detail-oriented performer who has a strong desire to influence and the ability to create and execute an application security program. The position will involve working closely with application development teams, business units, technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive the adoption and maturity of the NIQ Cloud and Application security programs. 

            What you’ll do 

            • Create the vision, roadmap and execution plans for secure software development lifecycle  

            • Work with the architecture team to identify baseline security controls and hardening requirements 

            • Work with the Security Operations Center to identify security monitoring requirements for Cloud based systems and applications 

            • Define processes and leverage technology and service providers to enhance the secure application development lifecycle  

            • Develop metrics to track SAST and DAST tools coverage, SLAs for scanning, bug bounty programs

            • Mentor security team members in security best practices for cloud security operations

            We’re looking for people who have

            • Proactively maintain the departmental production schedules with a keen eye on deadlines and conflicts, including managing the schedules of key team personnel.
            • Communicate clearly with artists about deadlines and the overall production schedule.
            • Make sure artists have all material they need to complete their assignments.
            • Archive artwork when appropriate; depending on the nature of the material, copy onto disks with backup disk, preserve, put in storage; create an inventory list of all archived items.
            • Ship (digital delivery or otherwise) materials to all sources as needed.
            • Troubleshoot possible problems or issues and escalate as needed.
            • Diligently track outsourced material to maintain schedule; if outsource studio is not meeting scheduling requirements, escalate to Production Manager or Director of Production for additional guidance.
            • Ensure proper preparation for all meetings and reviews. Record and publish notes from meetings and reviews that accurately reflect action items and an appropriate sense of urgency.

            Your Experience, Talents and Abilities:

            • 2+ years of practical experience, preferably in a feature or CG series pipeline.
            • Thorough knowledge of production and animation CG processes, 2D experience an asset.
            • Experience as a Production Coordinator for Layout and Animation is an asset
            • Proficient with Google Drive, MS office suites including Excel and Word.
            • Previous experience working with Shotgun and RV is an advantage but not required.
            • A positive attitude, willingness to see problems as challenges, with strong problem solving skills.
            • Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail.
