What this role looks like

As the Digital Marketing Specialist - US & International you will be the person responsible to help grow our brand awareness and market share in the US and International Market. You will work closely with our sales team and have joint KPIs to report on. Think of MQLs, organic growth, brand awareness etc. In order to drive these good results for the US and International market you will need to work with the different specialties in the marketing team (PR, SEO, Performance, Partnerships, Events, CRM). The primary focus will be on the US Market. You will also work closely with the other Digital Marketing Specialists for our other focus markets. You will report to the Global Marketing Brand & Content Director.


Some of your key tasks asDigital Marketing Specialist 

  • Gaining a deep understanding of our US-based (and International) customers and prospects, including their organisational goals, structures, motivations, and buying processes;

  • Developing compelling and attention-grabbing messaging for high-impact interactions in order to create awareness among our target audience;

  • Owning the US and International digital event mix, leading our podcasts and webinars together with our Events team;

  • Finding new and innovative ways to target and engage our US (and International) prospects across all marketing channels, identifying the best platforms to reach them through thoughtfully crafted outbound campaigns;

  • Establishing and reporting on metrics that help refine the performance of these initiatives, while keeping an eye on the full funnel (closed deals and retention).

    Essential Functions

    • Stay on the pulse of the ad tech landscape, maintain close relationships with leading tools and platforms, and represent Research Square Company at industry events 
    • Determine the optimal categories / products through which to acquire new customers, keeping in mind acquisition cost and future LTV.
    • Collaborate with Customer Marketing Manager, Product teams, Biz Dev, Engineering, UX designers to support customer journey throughout the research lifecycle establishing growth strategies that support Research Square Company’s revenue goals
    • Bring an analytical approach to marketing tactics to support ambitious growth targets and work with internal teams to set targets for campaigns, conduct A/B tests, and report on and communicate results to stakeholders

        With guidance from the Digital Media Supervisor, the Digital Media Specialist serves as a strategic media planner and buyer for all digital channels. These channels may include OTT, display, search and social and affiliate advertising.         ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

        • Work with digital media supervisor and media director to develop strategic ecommerce campaigns.
