Job Description

  • Effectively collaborating with the team members and the customer throughout the project 
  • Designing, setting up, configuring, and testing project infrastructure 
  • Gathering infrastructure requirements and making technical decisions on vendors, tools, and approaches related to the infrastructure setup 
  • Designing and implementing tools to automate infrastructure management and configuration, using the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approach where applicable 
  • Technically driving the tasks related to controlling, scheduling, planning, and deploying releases to different environments, ensuring the integrity of live environments is protected and the correct components are released 
  • Analyzing and taking technical decisions on how to customize, set up, configure, and maintain the 3rd party services and integrations related to the infrastructure. Such as: 
  • a. PaaS services provided by Cloud providers
  • b. Infrastructure products from 3rd party software vendors 
  • Technically driving the tasks related to building a CI/CD pipeline, setting up and configuring CI/CD tools 
  • Working on the incidents/problems resolution throughout their lifecycle and resolving them as quickly as possible. Preventing incidents from happening and minimizing the impact of unavoidable ones 
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining infrastructure documentation, such as infrastructure diagrams, asset inventory lists, etc. 
  • Monitoring service delivery compliance to budget, quality standards, customer and business stakeholder requirements. Continuously improving and optimizing project infrastructure 
  • Designing and implementing monitoring/alerting solutions to meet the project’s current and future requirements. Continuously monitoring the product (system) health and making technical decisions based on analyzed results 
  • Performing infrastructure coordination related to the design and setup activities at different stages of the project working with various vendors and service providers to ensure a productive environment 
  • Helping in auditing projects to improve quality where necessary and to identify faster, cheaper, and easier ways of providing services where applicable 
  • Carrying out technical supervision and coaching of middle and junior staff 

 

Qualifications

  • JavaScript/TypeScript (for CDKs) or at least knowledge of any programming language (Python/Java/Go/Rust) 
  • Knowledge of Terraform 
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes 
  • Knowledge of Vector.dev/FluentD 
  • Extensive knowledge of ElasticSearch 
  • Extensive knowledge of Kafka 
  • Extensive knowledge of Grafana/Prometheus 
  • Knowledge of Linux 
  • Upper-Intermediate English level

Compensation and Benefits

Our anticipated compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets, and the range below indicates the low end of the lowest-compensated market to the high end of the highest-compensated market. The work you’ll do

  • Take ownership of complex issues related to performance, reliability, and scalability, from idea inception to production, including all required technical and organizational improvements.
  • Help our engineering teams gain full control over the stability and performance of their services.
  • Support and drive the investigation and resolution of incidents and issues in production.
  • Monitor and maintain object and data storage solutions. 
  • Lead postmortems and root cause analysis to facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Design, write, and deliver software that enhances the availability, scalability, and efficiency of our products.
  • Proactively identify, plan, and execute improvement opportunities to minimize risks, address recurrent issues, automate manual processes, improve quality, and streamline our software deliveries.
  • Provide technical leadership on reliability to engineers, managers, and product managers.
  • Improve our monitoring, metrics, and KPIs, as well as define and implement missing SLOs.
  • Implement processes and automation to prevent problem recurrence.
  • Share acquired knowledge and document accordingly while implementing SRE best practices.
  • Guide a technical roadmap for reliability to enable the planning and building of reliable solutions using our infrastructure and developer productivity platform.

The Qualifications You Need

  • Experience in Software Engineering roles, typically with 5+ years of experience.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience and skill set.
  • Experience in developing and running large-scale productive services with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience working with in-memory data stores (e.g., Redis), RDBMS (e.g., Postgres), AMQP (e.g., RabbitMQ), and NoSQL (e.g., ElasticSearch).
  • Experience working with various public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern cloud monitoring system observability frameworks (e.g., Datadog).
  • Solid knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Ruby...).
  • Experience with Java, Javascript, or Spring frameworks would be a plus.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Deep commitment to maintaining high system reliability and availability.

L’équipe Data Services de Mazars, c’est plus de 60 consultants spécialistes de la data, répartis sur 2 hubs (Paris La Défense, New-York).  Ils couvrent l’ensemble de la chaîne de valeur de la donnée : Data Strategy et qualification de cas d’usage, Gouvernance et qualité des données, Data Visualisation, Data Science, Data Engineering et Data Architecture.

Nous sommes convaincus que le Data Engineering est la pierre angulaire de cette industrie. The Team

As a key member of the Systems Administration team within Operations Engineering, you will be responsible for the administration and operations of the global cloud infrastructure that runs our SaaS product. This is an opportunity to be at the core of running a Cloud SaaS platform that scales to millions of users!  The Cloud Operations team is responsible for ensuring the availability and efficiency of the server infrastructure that runs our SaaS platform while consuming and deploying products that have been newly developed by engineering teams. You will be working closely with engineers and developers across the company.

What you get to do in this role:

  • Contribute to Configuration Management and Infrastructure as Code for ServiceNow’s global private cloud.
  • Develop tools in Python, bash, and JavaScript to replace manual work and improve customer maintenance experience.
  • Drive enhancements and bugfixes for large scale automation projects such as patching, provisioning, and kickstart domains.
  • Design and implement procedure to accomplish maintenances where automation and tooling cannot; drive resolution of root causes with internal team members.

  • Support operation of a wide variety of infrastructure services including Machine Learning and Prediction, Cloudera Big Data clusters, Kafka and RabbitMQ messaging, database encryption, E-Mail infrastructure at scale, DNS, Puppet, Elasticsearch, F5 BigIP, and more.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience with Linux (RedHat and/or CentOS)
  • The ideal candidate will have expert-level skills and background in systems administration and engineering, understanding of the components of a cloud infrastructure including hardware platforms, OS, applications, databases, networks, web and application servers. Prior experience in Site Reliability Engineering/DevOps and managing large-scale server infrastructure at a cloud computing or MSP setting is highly desirable. Strong Linux expertise is a must.
  • Working level knowledge of one: Perl, Python, JavaScript
  • Familiarity with MySQL, Oracle, MariaDB, or similar technologies; proficiency preferred
  • Expert-level skills and experience with service troubleshooting in a production environment covering web front-end, Systems, Databases and Networks.
  • Familiarity with Networking Technologies such as routing, switching and load balancing. F5 and NGINX experience is ideal. 
  • Experience with performance and availability monitoring, analysis, and configuration management platforms (e.g. Nagios/Icinga, Cacti, Ansible, Puppet, cfengine, chef, Splunk, Logstash) is desirable.
  • Understanding of ITIL v3 framework and how it applies to incidents, problems and change.
  • Candidate must have good communication skills and work well in a collaborative team environment.

What you’ll do

In this role, you’ll be helping build the new Digital Experience Monitoring product in the Cloudflare Zero Trust Platform. The Digital Experience Monitoring team is all about helping customers understand how their deployment of Cloudflare’s solutions are working in their environment, providing critical insight into network performance, usage analytics, and much more. As a software engineer on the team, you’ll work across the stack to implement new frontend analytical visualizations and functionality, build and maintain our Go API, and add new backend features as the product continues to grow. Ce stage offre l'opportunité de rejoindre l'équipe de Tierce Maintenance Applicative (TMA) d'ASI. Vous travaillerez sur une variété de compétences telles que techniques, fonctionnelles ou pilotage au sein d'un écosystème dynamique. Ceci vous permettra de progresser rapidement dans le domaine et de vous intégrer rapidement au sein de l'entreprise.  

Environnement technologique : Java, Node.js, Angular, Vue.js...

Qualifications

Idéalement Bac + 4/ Bac + 5 d’une formation supérieure pertinente par rapport au domaine d’intervention.  

Durée : Stage d'une durée de 4 à 6 mois, ce stage pouvant déboucher sur alternance et /ou une proposition d’emploi concrète.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Data Engineer.

We are based in Balcombe [40 mins from London by train, 20 minutes from Brighton] and we will need you to be based in our offices at least 3 days a week.

You will report directly to the Head of Data.

Candidate Overview

As a part of the Technology Team your core responsibility will be to help maintain and scale our infrastructure for analytics as our data volume and needs continue to grow at a rapid pace. This is a high impact role, where you will be driving initiatives affecting teams and decisions across the company and setting standards for all our data stakeholders. You’ll be a great fit if you thrive when given ownership, as you would be the key decision maker in the realm of architecture and implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Understand our data sources, ETL logic, and data schemas and help craft tools for managing the full data lifecycle
  • Play a key role in building the next generation of our data ingestion pipeline and data warehouse
  • Run ad hoc analysis of our data to answer questions and help prototype solutions
  • Support and optimise existing ETL pipelines
  • Support technical and business stakeholders by providing key reports and supporting the BI team to become fully self-service
  • Own problems through to completion both individually and as part of a data team
  • Support digital product teams by performing query analysis and optimisation

 

Qualifications

Key Skills and Requirements

  • 3+ years experience as a data engineer
  • Ability to own data problems and help to shape the solution for business challenges
  • Good communication and collaboration skills; comfortable discussing projects with anyone from end users up to the executive company leadership
  • Fluency with a programming language - we use NodeJS and Python but looking to use Golang
  • Ability to write and optimise complex SQL statements
  • Familiarity with ETL pipeline tools such as Airflow or AWS Glue
  • Familiarity with data visualisation and reporting tools, like Tableau, Google Data Studio, Looker
  • Experience working in a cloud-based software development environment, preferably with AWS or GCP
  • Familiarity with no-SQL databases such as ElasticSearch, DynamoDB, or MongoDB

Job Description

Arista Networks is looking for a skilled professional for our Engineering Productivity team to help maintain and support our rapidly expanding infrastructure and internal user base. The ideal candidate is someone who can wear many hats, can be versatile and is enthusiastic about learning new technologies. As a part of the software engineering team, you will work with other team members to design, build and administer secure, scalable and fault-tolerant tools and infrastructure in a hybrid cloud environment.

Working in the Engineering Productivity (EngProd) group, you will collaborate and work with other engineers to design, build, scale, and operate the systems that the rest of Arista’s development teams use.  The EngProd team uses industry-standard systems like Ansible, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Grafana, Spinnaker, MySQL, ElasticSearch, Google Cloud, and Varnish and also internal systems that we’ve built from the ground-up to automate CI/CD, testing, analysis, and visualization.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and contribute to the specifications and implementations written by other team members.
  • Design and develop features, feature tests and solutions. Fix bugs and refactor code as needed.
  • Work with Arista’s software engineers to identify bottlenecks and limitations in our workflows, tooling, and infrastructure and provide fixes for those problems. 
  • Provide support for our tools and infrastructure to Arista’s development team.

Qualifications

  • At least BS Computer Science + 3 years’ experience, MS Computer Science + 2 years’ experience, or Ph.D.  in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. 
  • Knowledge of one or more of Go, Python, Javascript, C++, Java. 
  • Knowledge of Linux (or UNIX). 
  • Understanding of one of operating systems, networking systems, distributed systems
  • Applied understanding of software engineering principles. 
  • Strong problem solving and software troubleshooting skills. 
  • Ability to design a solution and implement features independently. Ability to work in small teams.
